Now that episode 1 is subbed. I have to be fair and give Zenkaiger a shot.

What did I just watch? Aside from the fact that Toei has somehow stolen yet another one of my ideas. I'm of course referring to a team inserting a device into the morpher to augment their abilities with the powers of a previous team. Without assuming their forms.

So I'm confused the opening of this Super Sentai series implies that all the Super Sentai take place on separate earths/realities/whatever are all the Tokusatsu not interconnected now?

^Its just an idea that Toei did....like Toei did with Kamen Rider Decade.
Although, Kyruranger was actually in a alternate universe.

hasnt that always been the case. Each sentai is its own thing. Then when they do crossovers/big anniversary stuff its a shared history thing.

Ohranger was also an AU. But now, due to the tyranny of Tojitendo, all legendary Sentai have been sealed away in separate dimensions. Think of it like the equivalent of Shattered Grid.

while I don't think that Zenkaiger will have an extra ranger, I do think it would be cool to have a Ninja theme Kikainoid. Ninja's did have 3 seasons. I think he would be a black ranger based off of Kaku, since the other 2 ninja gears have been used and black is the only Kaku color not already used by the main team.

Apparently, Zenkaiger gonna have a spin-off, with the introduction....of ZenkaiRed. "A two part spin-off titled Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger Spin-Off ZenkaiRed Dai Shoukai (translates to Great Introduction) has been announced for the TELASA streaming service. ^Wiki has already shown human forms for the Kikainoid in it. Hopefully they use them every now and then.

I've just watched the first few episodes of Zenkaiger. Sadly, the series is not my cup of tea, but I do like the White Ranger and the idea of only one human Ranger in the team. I can imagine we will be getting scans of the 6th Zenkaiger during the next few months. It's nearly always around the April May and June months that we get scans for the 6th Ranger.

There isn't an aquatic season, though. The gears are based on past seasons.
