Sento tried and failed to use Hazard Trigger against Evol but it seems he now has control of himself when he uses it - no real explanation to this, I guess we are to assume (as mentioned in previous episodes) that it's because his Hazard Level has risen enough to not lose his mind when he uses it. He was still going to lose himself using the Hazard Trigger, that's why he switched to his Hazard Tank form. Souichi Isurugi: i wonder will he get his moment? wil he used the steamgun now for good? I love the bloodstark suit. He may not be able to use the Transteam Gun system now that he's no longer under the influence of Evolt. |

^ I would think it's likely he can't use Transteam Gun without Evolt, because ... TV guide spoilers for episode 37 indicate Ryuuga loses the ability to transform after Evolt leaves his body - presumably because without Evolt, his Hazard Level is no longer high enough |

This week's recap gag was Grease trying to talk about "Kazumin and Mii-tan's love story" and Sento being all "lol, who cares?" There's also an update to the start of the OP to reflect that Evolt is now the main threat)
Major stuff this episode: Just as the earth is about to be destroyed, Misora appears possessed by Vernage. She overpowers Evolt, steals the box back and rescues Sento. Vernage says some important stuff about Evolt and the destruction of Mars; Evolt basically travels between planets destroying them all (so he, and by extension Ryuuga, aren't Martian.) She says the line from the trailer about "we cannot allow Evolt to achieve his strongest form." She somehow altered the bottles, I need subs. Ten years ago, all the bottles were already prepared and Evolt (in Isurugi's body) was going to activate the box then and there, but Vernage possessed Misora and "emptied" the bottles to delay him.
Sento uses the box to increase Build's abilities and create a new power-up device, but this is very dangerous to him. Misora tried to warn him against using it and said some stuff about how he should "value his own life more." She tried to take it from him and stop him using it, but he reassured her he'd come back and took it anyway. Kazumi and Gentoku had a fight over the fact that Gentoku killed Akaba, which Kazumi won. Gentoku seems to be suffering from some kind of permanent damage, I wonder if he is actually dying? The fact that in the summer movie Japan is now ruled by three "governors" after the events of the show seems to suggest he may have died before then. Nanba is planning something involving drones, again I need subs. Against Misora's warning, Sento tries to use his new power-up; but can't, his Hazard Level is not high enough. Evolt takes over Sento's body and becomes Evolt Dragon Form (hence the white-haired Sento in the trailer.) Ryuuga is now back in his own body.
Next week: Ryuuga cannot transform - as per previous post I'd guess that that's because his Hazard Level is no longer high enough without Evolt there. Presumably Evolt, or part of Evolt, will take him over again at some point since he's got to transform again before the series ends; and the press pics for the summer movie made it look like he is possessed by Evolt during that. Ryuuga asks Gentoku's help to save Sento, Evolt again demands the box back in exchange for Sento. The girl who played Madoka in the Ex-Aid "True Ending" movie also plays Misora as a child in this episode, I thought that was pretty cool |

Anyway, I watched episode 36. Evol opens Pandora's Box and obtains the Evol Trigger. When he tries to use it, nothing happens and the apocalypse stops despite the tower's completion. Vernage shows up and teleports away with Sento and the box.
She explains that the reason the Skywall incident happened instead of the tower was due to her possessing Misora and tampering with the Full Bottles inside the box, draining their essence. This is what caused Misora's 7 year coma.
Shinobu's research contained information for modifying a Pandora Panel for use in the Build Driver which would be dangerous to humans. Sento believes stopping the war is worth risking his life for and ignores what Misora tells him about how she, Ryuuga and Sawa would be left behind if anything happened to him.
Build and Grease enter the fight and Ryuuga destroys a Hard Guardian with a single punch before challenging Build as Evol Phase 1. Using the Full Bottles that Vernage replenished, Build overcomes Phase 1 with little effort, forcing Evol to escalate to Phase 2, the Dragon Rider. Build uses the new device to raise his Hazard Level up to 6 while damaging his body, immediately surpassing Evol's current Hazard Level. Evol reveals that he needed Build's genius mind to create the ultimate rider and attempts to possess him, abandoning Ryuuga's body. To his surprise, Build starts cranking the lever raising the Hazard Level planning to cause a meltdown and destroy both of them in the blast.
However, Sento survives now with white hair and the same voice as Bloodstalk, which means Evolt has successfully possessed the man with the highest Hazard Level. He henshins in to Evol Rabbit Rider, Phase 3.
Since Souichi and Ryuuga maintained their hair color while possessed by Evolt, I presume Sento's hair was turned white by the device boosting his Hazard Level beyond the limit of a human. Like how Taiga's hair was turned partially white by the Proto Bang Bang Shooting Gasshat. It's true that hair can turn prematurely white as a result of extreme stress.

^ Oh yeah, changing Sento's hairstyle wouldn't work like it did for the others. I guess the white hair is just to show how much stronger Evolt's power is now that he has Sento as his current host. Madrogue might appear later. It's not always consistent. I recently found out that ScorpionGold was scrapped in favor of RoseCopter.
