Kamen Rider Build Discussion Thread

Apparently not a lot of people like the opening visuals...Am I the only one who does lol?

^Yeahh, Honestly Builds theme song is one of my favourite theme songs from KR, granted I've watched only one fully (Ex Aid) A quarter of Gaim, Fourze and Drive (been told that's not great but not ghost level hot mess). Drive and Ex Aid also have good themes but Build's just excites me.

Really do like the visuals but annoyed they left out Sawa from the opening. Like Hold on, you unveiled her a main character in that press release, put her on the opening!

^ I tried to watch the first episode when it aired but just didn't care for it. I'll try it again to see if I like it or if I still don't care for it. Also yeah I'm waiting for the day when Sawa is in the opening. Don't ask why I want her in the visual so badly, not even I know but I do like her character; kind of a goofball reporter. Plus that scene in the 3rd episode where she's taking pics of Build and directing him despite it being unnecessary was amusing and enjoyable. 

Also my thoughts on the characters.

• I like Sento. He's a smartass who built his tech. Although that hair sticking out gimmick is getting old. 
• Ryuga is interesting, he's an escapee from Nightrogue's experiment like Sento as seen in the first episode and I like the partnership the two have forged. 
• Misora is actually hilarious. Threatening to cut Sento and Ryuga and her own father because they disturbed her sleep. Damn she scary.
• The dad's okay. lol.
• Sawa!! Give me Sawa in the opening visuals!! 
• I forgot the guy with the beard (goatee?) but he's actually pretty interesting. 
• Basically I liked every character in Build.

Episode 4: "The Evidence is Zero" (September 24)

Ryuuga and Sawa contact Nabeshima's family in Seito. Meanwhile Sento, who is pursuing the mystery of Faust, learns a hidden truth.

Alternative summary: Sento, who was attacked by Nabeshima remade into a Smash, remembers that at the Faust experimentation site there was a plate with the same pattern as Pandora's Box. Meanwhile, Ryuuga, who visited Nabeshima's family in Seito, chases off his pursuers and brings the family. Nabeshima, who has been remade into a Smash again, appears.


Episode 5: Title TBC (October 1)

Sento learns about the amazing past of Isurugi and Misora. Meanwhile, Sawa meets someone she has found who knows about the past.

Alternative summary: Sento suspects that Isurugi is a member of Faust. Isurugi confesses the hidden past of him and his daughter Misora. Sawa appears.

Alternative summary: A person who knows Sento's past appears.


Episode 6: Title TBC (October 8)

Ryuuga thinks about taking action to find Faust's hideout. Meanwhile, a new bottle Sento has produced responds to Ryuuga.

Alternative summary: To prove his innocence, the fugitive Ryuuga puts himself in danger by trying to locate the enemy's hideout. He comes into conflict with Sento.

BloodStark's voice actor is Tetsuo Kanao: buildridernews.tumblr.com/post/165672018964/with-the-identity-of-night-rogue-still-being-quite

As mentioned in the post, Kanao doesn't usually do any kind of face acting so it looks like this is a decoy to hide BloodStark's identity until the official reveal.

I think Utsumi's aggression in this episode suggests he was present when the box was activated ... but where was he and why? He would have been 18 years old at the time - even if he were working for the government by then, it seems unlikely he would be senior enough to be invited to the event

Exited for the next episode... this series has a great start it feels a little different and fresh than past series (Drive and Ex-Aid was i think very good though

Personal i still have the feeling that Soichi Isurugi is someway/somehow "night rouge" or he is acoiated with him but it seemed to me to early on in the series to change the mentors purpose and  to reveal that!
