^ Basically, a week of public holiday/celebration in Japan, when most people don't have to work. This article: akkinews.net/archives/156291 claims that another plot point of the movie is that citizens are brainwashed by a speech from a politician, compelling them to attack the Kamen Riders. They can only be returned to normal if the Riders can defeat the movie's villain. This fits with the description given in the call for extras, but then again it could just be made up based on that ... |

I just watched episode 33. Damn, I can't believe Taizan is dead! He was the only minister capable of unifying Japan and now Seito has a new rider stronger than all the others. It looks really bad for Touto, I seriously don't know how they're going to bounce back from this. Now that Midou and Taizan are both gone and Tajimi is still captive, Japan has no more ministers, leaving Nanba in Midou's body as the only authority.
So Bloodstalk reveals that some of Himuro Gentoku's madness was caused by the Skywall after all and the experiment that made him a rider somehow negated the effects. Not sure how that works at all, considering how nebula gas is the same thing he was exposed to all in both scenarios. However, it turns out he's not completely evil and he did cry for his father's death. We know he's going to fight for the good side from now on so I guess he probably wants revenge on Souichi, who may not be Souichi for much longer if Evolt plans on leaving his body soon.
Himuro defecting from Seito actually makes my prediction about Madrogue's identity being Utsumi more plausible since he's going to be an enemy rider like Evol. About Utsumi, why is he still working for the bad guys and willing to kill innocent people? It must be the nebula gas making him insane! If he wasn't present during the Skywall incident then maybe he was experimented on like Sento and Ryuuga. You don't need a high Hazard Level to use the Nightrogue, Bloodstalk and Bros Systems but Madrogue uses the Evol Rider System so if it is Utsumi and he can henshin without an experiment, then we can assume he had one a long time ago. This would explain the growing madness similar to Himuro and what he said to Sento about losing himself.

Evolt introduces himself as Kamen Rider Evol and says that he uses the true power of Pandora's Box. He easily overpowers the heroes and poisons Sento; Misora can't heal him with the bracelet and Evolt says that it's beyond Vernage's power. He disappears. Utsumi seems to have some reservations about Evolt (DESPITE THE FACT THIS IS HIS FAULT!) but Nanba's just concerned with his empire. Everyone takes Sento to a hospital but due to the poison being of alien origin there is little that can be done for him. Ryuuga receives a call from Evolt who wants to meet him, offering him a way to save Sento's life. He orders Banjou to go to the cafe and bring Misora. They arrive and Evolt demands the Pandora's Box and bottles. Misora screams at Evolt to give her father back. She starts to use Vernage's power but he is stronger and knocks her unconscious.
Evolt takes Ryuuga outside and says some important stuff about Katsuragi and Faust. He says that he and Ryuuga are the same; revealing Ryuuga's alien genes came from Evolt. We see in a flashback that Katsuragi intended to use the Build Driver to fight both Evolt (then Stalk) and Sento; this is what they were talking about just as Tarou Satou arrived. Kazumi and Sawa arrive in an ambulance with Sento (did they steal it or what?!) and prepare to hand over the bottles. They demand that he save Sento but he refuses unless he gets the box as well. Cross-Z and Grease again try and fail to fight him and Kazumi gets knocked unconscious. Cross-Z continues fighting and this is when he gives the "My only partner is SENTO KIRYU!" line from the trailer. Meanwhile, Sento is dying inside the ambulance. He shouts something to Ryuuga who has flashbacks of all his happy times with Sento and his friends. Evolt defeats him and knocks him out of his transformation. Ryuuga is determined that he'll save Sento.
Evolt says Ryuuga may give his own life in exchange for Sento's and become Evolt's new host. Ryuuga remembers how Sento believed in him and took care of him. He uses Sento's catchphrases, "This is the worst ..." and "I'm the hero here!" and transforms again. Misora, who woke up at some point apparently, arrives and sees Ryuuga fighting. Meanwhile Sento is taking a turn for the worse as the battle goes on. He collapses and Sawa apparently thinks he has died and is screaming and panicking, this is pretty sad. There's a huge explosion and Evolt disappears, but "Ryuuga" removes Sento's poison. Sento awakens and Evolt speaks through Ryuuga now his host (he's got the standard "evil makeover" of messy hair and eyeliner, much like in Gaim when Kaito became Lord Baron.) "Ryuuga" transforms into Evolt's Dragon form.
Next episode: Evolt needs the final bottle (Phoenix) to complete Pandora's tower and steals it from Gentoku, what's gonna happen?! Ryuuga is still Evolt apparently. No explanation as to where Souichi Isurugi or his body went, I guess he's dead.
I've seen the theory that Evolt will take it in turns to possess people: he'll bodyjack Sento to get Evolt Rabbit Form and Utsumi to get Mad Rogue. I guess the latter might explain why the scans show Utsumi in Night Rogue's signature poses yet we know its Hazard Level is 5.0 which Utsumi, as a human, cannot possibly be |

Masanobu Katsumura, Takashi Fujii, and Rena Matsui will appear in the Build movie as three astronauts who went to Mars with Souichi Isurugi. Of course the only woman of the bunch is a young, pretty ex-AKB48 idol who was 16 at the time her character went into space (somewhere Yuuki Joujima is sobbing ...) That'd make her Sento's age, I wonder if she is/was a classmate or contemporary of Katsuragi? EDIT: More here - headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20180509-00010003-spht-ent The characters will be the "governors" of Seito, Hokuto and Touto. The show's producer says Matsui will have "a role never before seen in Kamen Rider" which makes me wonder if she's actually going to be a Rider? The change in political system seems to support the evidence that the movie is an epilogue to the show like Ex-Aid's. Katsumura's character is the Touto governor so I would guess he might be the main villain. Matsui's character is the governor of Hokuto where Katsuragi's mother lives, maybe she really did have something to do with him? I also wonder if Gentoku might be the ruler of Japan now. I would have expected him to die but now he's on the heroes' side his chances of survival may increase - especially after Taizan's last words to him |

What? Masanobu Katsumura in Toku world? i always saw him Japanese Deamas lol so it would be interest to see him in the movie

www.tv-asahi.co.jp/reading/build/The latest cast blog entry has, as usual, some preview pictures from the next episode: which include an unconscious Isurugi after Evolt left his body, and Misora mysteriously happy about something. Looks like we might be about to meet the real Souichi Isurugi? There's also a picture of Utsumi and it says his actor will update the blog after the episode airs - which usually indicates that character will be important in the episode. I wonder if this is going to build up (no pun intended) to the appearance of Mad Rogue?

I watched episode 34. Souichi must really love ransoms. "Evol Driver or Taizan dies." "Pandora's Box or Sento dies." I mean, what's he going to use as leverage next time huh?
He reveals that Ryuuga is technically Evolt's son and that merging their bodies would create the true Evolt. Ryuuga and Sawatari bring the box and the bottles but Evol challenges them to defeat him and cure Sento of the poison. Grease can't do anything. Cross-Z Magma raises his Hazard Level to 5 and his suit erupts molten lava which looks awesome! Evol and Cross-Z Magma fistbump which causes a massive explosion. Ryuuga was left standing alone and cures Sento, revealing that Evolt had already possessed him and henshined in to Evol Dragon Rider.
With the high stakes and climactic action, I was surprised it wasn't even the final arc yet and we already have the revelation of the true mastermind of this show, the guy who eradicated all life on Mars. This explains why he doesn't care about Misora dying since she's not actually his daughter. Not like he's been a good parent to Ryuuga anyway, after dehumanizing and possessing him like he means nothing to him. Reminds me of Banno from Drive. I also wonder if the sentimental attachment is a part of Souichi's behavior or Evolt. I presume it's the former since Souichi was apparently a nice guy in the past whereas Evolt is a man willing to commit genocide without any signs of redemption at all.

Important stuff this episode: Evolt is still in Ryuuga's body. The real Souichi Isurugi is alive but unconscious and in hospital. Sento tried and failed to use Hazard Trigger against Evol but it seems he now has control of himself when he uses it - no real explanation to this, I guess we are to assume (as mentioned in previous episodes) that it's because his Hazard Level has risen enough to not lose his mind when he uses it. Kazumi has a "romantic" moment with Misora and is preparing to make a move on her but is interrupted when Sento wakes up, do we have our next Terui and Akiko? LOL. Evolt uses Ryuuga's voice to trick Sento and get the upper hand, injuring him and taking the last few bottles to complete the Pandora's Tower. Utsumi tries to stop him but gets shot down. The tower rises and Sento realises he is witnessing the same destruction as of Mars.
Next episode: Sento uses the Pandora's Box to increase Build's power, but this puts his own life at risk and Misora will try to stop him. It mentions a "forbidden power up item" - does this mean using Genius endangers his life?
