^So Genius does debut in May. The form is not pleasing to look at, but I think Sento, Misora and Ryuuga could really use some hope and soon

I think the entire "Ryuuga is a Martian" plot is ridiculous. Also that he is referred to and treated as "non-human" when he is (as Sawa said in the previous episode) only really possessed by something from Mars. He has two human parents, since his mother was already pregnant when she encountered the Martian substance. He's no more "alien" than Misora, who is never referred to or suggested to be such The entity seems to have changed his actual DNA though, before he was born. 'Why does Evolt want to destroy the Earth so quickly?' I'm wondering why he wants to destroy it at all. His goal may be more to do with controlling the power of the box, which he seems to need both the Evol Driver and Ryuuga for. Perhaps that's why Mars was destroyed, because he couldn't fully control that power. |

Personally, I haven't considered any of the heroic riders to be human since the Faust experiments. Ryuuga definitely isn't full alien however his DNA has definitely been altered first before he was even alive and later as an adult when he got abducted. So he's like a 1/3 Martian 2/3 Terran mutate, I guess. ^So Genius does debut in May. The form is not pleasing to look at, but I think Sento, Misora and Ryuuga could really use some hope and soon I agree, it looks lame compared to RabbitRabbit. Genius is probably my least favorite Final Form since Kiwami Arms. |

^ Bobby? Ryuuga interrupts the recap to complain about not being human and Sento's all "we're not going over that again", lol
Team Build is hiding Pandora's Box in the basement. Sento takes a call from Stalk, who demands the Evol Driver in exchange for Taizan Himuro, suggesting that Katsuragi's (Sento's) father had it. Sento tries to search through Katsuragi's research data for the Evol Driver but only finds the words "Nobody knows" (in English.) Through this, Sento finds some stuff about the Driver being what led Evolt to gain his maximum power on Mars, and thus destroy it. Souichi Isurugi became Evolt's host after he touched the box whilst on Mars. Evolt then brought the box back to earth and used it to activate the Skywall. Shinobu Katsuragi, Takumi's father, built the Driver. (I am not sure how Evolt got it whilst on Mars ... maybe the subs explain it?) Meanwhile, Souichi is still able to temporarily break through control, but he can't maintain it for long and has another Gollum-style argument with Evolt before disappearing.
Gentoku tries to help Taizan escape, but Utsumi catches him and shocks him again with the chip. Taizan punches Utsumi which is pretty spectacular, allowing Gentoku time to transform into Rogue and defeat a Hard Guardian, but Stalk shows up and knocks him out of his transformation. He kicks Gentoku in the face or the second time in as many weeks and Taizan gets captured again. Sento locates the Evol Driver in the "fridge" where the bottles are made (I don't understand this bit ...) and quickly assembles it. He then gets another call. Later, the Riders confront Stalk. Gentoku attacks Stalk, and Stalk tries to activate the kill switch but it does not work. We then see in a flashback that Gentoku had called Sento and begged him to save Taizan.
Sento tells Taizan to run, but he is trapped by the Hard Guardians until Grease joins in. There's the usual fight, all while Taizan is still trapped. The Riders fail to defeat Stalk, but Taizan does manage to run for it. Sawa and Misora are waiting to help him, but Stalk shows up. He zones in on Misora, who has the Driver; but at this moment Rogue arrives and fights him. He knocks Stalk out of his transformation and Misora runs to him, but is caught and knocked unconscious by Utsumi who takes the Driver from her and throws it to Stalk. "Isurugi" transforms into Kamen Rider Evolt for the first time. Rogue tries and spectacularly fails to fight him, in part due to Evolt's super speed and jumping abilities. Gentoku gets blown up, and Taizan is killed as he takes a finishing blow meant for Gentoku - but lives just long enough to give Gentoku a quick pep talk about doing the right thing lol.
Next week: Stalk poisons Sento, Ryuuga has to fight him again |

^ Yeah, Taizan died. The ending made that pretty clear. This week Toei site has an announcement about recruiting extras for the summer movie rather than a recap of the week's production, but it says "we'll post the BTS stuff and our goodbye to Taizan later." So, yeah, he's gone

Kensei Mikami (Gentoku Himuro) has said in a new entry on the cast blog that they'll be shooting the movie after Golden Week. He could just mean they're already filming but taking a break for Golden Week ... although I'm wary of these rumours anyway because would the ending leak that quickly?
