Meh. I Would prefer that the efforts focus more in plot and characterization. An ending song doesn't gonna add something substantial to the series. It's like how you said it, tradition.
The times are changing. If people accepted the Super seasons for Power Rangers, to keep watching new episodes, I think people gonna accept not having ending, to have more sponsors for the show.

Ya I don't really see the need for end themes myself. We really just need intro for a show. Heck we should be happy shows have theme songs any more. As for the past decade most programs have been leaning away from themes and just doing a title card and that it.

I tend to just collect the full OP for Sentai because I end up imagining the Rangers dancing during the EDs and I don't like that. But some EDs I do like.

Speaking of this year's opening theme...
This one has a been a grower and it still hasn't settled in.
The bar was set high with Kyuranger and I'm not sure if I feel the whole rush of action with the new one.

What are your thoughts on the first episode? Meh...it's okay. Just nothing new or spectacular. I am probably not going to like the second or third episodes though. |

Maybe Kogure's true form. I have this feeling there's something worst then Criminal Group Gangler coming or maybe he is Dogranio Yaboon's successor.

After watching episode 2 I have to say something doesn't smell right about the so called Lupin Collection or more specifically the VS changers and other like items. Anybody else get the feeling that there is something more going on here.

True, probably a grand scheme. In all honesty, it doesn't seem like the gangler are the final villains, which is rarity for sentai every now and then

Probably the one who killed the loved ones (and friend) of the Lupinrangers, because he was seen in the flashback that showed what happened, and also his hat partly resembles icicles. As for the teams, the Lupinranger team is awesome. The characters, and using the Dial Fighters to open safes and doors, are all pretty cool. And the book that Kogure puts the Lupin Collection items in is intriguing. Keiichirou, on the other hand, needs to be just a bit less serious, because otherwise it's going to be bad for his health. |

Okay, I am gonna say it. The Global Police chief is the descendent of Arsene Lupin. He's obviously the one who is setting up both the Lupinrangers and the Patorangers by sending out the VS changers to the two teams just to put aside their differences and defeat the Ganglers while collecting the Lupin Collection. I mean, why else would they cast a black guy to be the Patorangers' boss in the show?! Do you really I am that stupid, Toei?! Do you take me for a damn fool?! And it's gonna be stretched out for the next what?! 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51 episodes until we introduce the next sentai theme for 2019?! Seriously, this "cops and robbers" theme is a scam, and we are just gonna keep blindly eating all that shit up until the next year.
