Power Rangers: Chrono Storm (Game)

"Strange." Augustus scratched his head a bit with the sudden shift in Leon's urgency, going from needing to interrupt and speak his mind to suddenly backing down with little resistance. "Whatever it is, I hope it gets sorted out." Auggie spoke, still not having put the dots together.

"It won't," Samara said softly, looking at Augustus. She sighed softly, folding her arms over her chest as she leaned back and looked away. "Leon has what Ledger calls a "crush" on me. Meaning he's in love with me. He's been nervous around me for months, can barely talk to me without getting as red as Mateo's Ranger suit. But dealing with it has never been his strong suit. He'd rather just, to use a term from my home, pussyfoot around it." She sighed and clenched her hands.

"The problem is that I don't feel the same. And apparently, my body language said more then my words ever could."

"I see." Auggie was processing what Samara was saying and while he did feel bad for Leon, Samara had every right to feel the way she felt. "It's not your fault that his bravery in battle does not translate to that of his heart. Come to think of it, that does explain the strange behavior..." Auggie trailed off in thought for a moment. "The only problem that must be overcome is that of our friend's own creation." Augustus finished. While he was still trying to get used to modern day language, tackling an issue head on was universal and more common for him, given his upbringing as a knight and guardian.

Samara nodded softly, gettig to her feet again. "Excuse me, Augustus," she said softly. "I think I need to return to my quarters." She gave the Knight a gentle smile, picking her books up and returning htem to the desk before she walked out of the library, wrapping her arms around herself tightly. As she walked down the hall, she sighed and bit her lip, feeling horribly.

Ledger, having been heading for some solo training, stopped when he saw the Black Ranger looking sullen. "Sam!"

Samara stopped, seeing Ledger running up. "Hello, Ledger. Im' sorry, but right now isnt' a good time. I need to be alone."

"Yeah, like hell. We're a team. What's wrong?" Ledger asked.

Samara sighed softly, filling the Blue Ranger in on what happened in the library and how Leon reacted, and with each word she felt worse and worse.

"Ah....I told him to talk to you months ago," Ledger said. "It's been clear for a long time he's had a crush on you, but that day at the beach when he saw you in that bikini really sent him into overdrive. I may have teased him and he maybe threatened to rearrange my face. I told him not to wait forever in case someone else came along, but he didnt' listen to me." He sighed softly, putting his hand on Samara's shoulder. "What are you going to do?"

"Hopefully I can talk to Leon soon. I want to at least get the chance to apologize to him and hope to soothe things out," Samara said.

Sensei's alert caused Mateo to look up, seeing Leon storm back to the ship and he didn't look happy. "Dude! What happened? Everything okay?"

"Right now, the best thing you can do is either let me go back to my quarters and cool off or your gonna see me go from green to red really quick and not in a "haha he's blushing" way either." Leon said as he went to turn towards his room.

"Talk? Talk?! That's the only thing I really haven't done around here haven't I? Especially when it comes to women! I fight, I clean house, but I can't fucking talk to save my damn life. I just left to muster up the courage and talk to sam about how I feel but before I could, she told me all she had to say with just her movements. So yeah, mark up ten points to the Swordsmen who ain't afraid of nothing but talking to women. Not to mention that you had to throw Auggie in the mix but to his credit he's done more in hours than I have in days or months at this point. Also, why the fuck no one told me that my ancestor was a ranger!? Is that a fucking secret I need clearance for or something?" Leon says as tries to calm down.

"I'm not pissed at anyone other than myself! I did this to myself. I'm kicking my own ass. As far as Duncan is concerned, he is my problem as of this moment because I want answers and he's got the answers I need." Leon states further to clarify his postion on his anger.

"Duncan was the one that started the wrestling tradition in my family. Ever since then everyone in my family who were descendants of him have wrestled excluding me. I've been blacklisted by my grandfather, his brothers along with my father and his brothers and sisters. I just wanna know that I'm doing the right thing.." Leon stated.

"I remember the backstory. That's not the problem. What you're asking is even more of a no-no than what Auggie wanted. If I sign off on this and ANYTHING goes wrong while we're out there, the blowback could be massive." Mateo sat in the captain's chair, running his hands through his hair.

"Oh so its perfectly ok for you to rescue his friends whom he knows but yet when it comes to me whom he doesn't know from Adam, could probably pass for a fan cause we don't even share any resemblance, all of a sudden its taboo? Shit could have gone terribly wrong in that instance. Sensei even told you not to and you still did it anyway." Leon stated.
