Ledger blinked, his body tellign him to run and grab a conroller, but his mind told him to wait because they were here on a job. "I'd love you--to, but I can't..."
"Why?" Delia asked, raising her eyebrow at Ledger's slip-up.
"He's just dedicated to his job." Mateo smiled. He looked at Ledger and waved him off. "Go ahead. You can catch up when you're done." He turned his attention back to Delia, offering his hand.
"My name is Mateo. These are my friends, Lalah, Augustus, and Ledger. We were hoping to speak privately about an urgent matter."
"Why?" Delia asked, raising her eyebrow at Ledger's slip-up.
"He's just dedicated to his job." Mateo smiled. He looked at Ledger and waved him off. "Go ahead. You can catch up when you're done." He turned his attention back to Delia, offering his hand.
