Samara smiled softly. "I don't think this job would be as fun without you," she said, her face getting slightly red. "Anyone else in Gold just wouldn't feel right at this point."
"It pleases me that our thoughts align. I do not know who I would gaze upon every day if you were not here. Anyone else wearing those flattering black garments would be doing a disservice to my eyes." Auggie smiled, finally relaxing a bit after the tensions of the last month.

"Sensei..." Mateo leaned back in his chair. "Sometimes, I wonder..." He began to speak after Leon left, but Sensei cut him off.
"Stop right there." Sensei spoke. "You can't start second guessing yourself. The moment you begin to waver, it's all over."
"Do you think I did the right thing?"
"Honestly? I would have hit him, but that's just me. You're a lot nicer than I am."
"No arguments there."
"Asshole, you're supposed to say that isn't true!"
Mateo chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I just need to get out of here. I think much better when I'm on the move."
"I may be able to help with what."
"Big Bro!" Mateo spun around when he heard Bishop's voice.
"You look like you've seen better days."
"Something like that."
"Well, I may have something that can help you out. Your suspension is over. This old girl is cleared to fly again."
"Really?! Hell yeah!" Mateo hugged Bishop tightly.
"But you need to be careful. You've still got your fair share of detractors that would love nothing more than to take that morpher and this ship away from you. Maybe keep that in mind the next time one of your team gets into some shit." Bishop winked, already knowing that they story Mateo fed to the TMB was bullshit.
"I got it. Thank you." Mateo in his excitement raced off to the TMB facility to find and tell the others that they were clear for travel.

I know I handled things wrong and I'm gonna try to make up for it. I really am sorry. If Mateo didn't speak on my behalf I'd be back in my time and let you guys find my replacement... I'll just let you be. But I am sorry." Leon said sincerely as he walked away.
Ledger watched Leon walk off, and he threw hsi trash away. "Maybe you should ahve been replaced," he said, walking out of the cafeteria.

"Always did kind of like dressin' in black, even back home," Samara said with a small smile. "My ma never understood it, always said "Girl, dressin' like you're goin' to a funeral! Ain't nobody died yet, put some color on!" but I ain't listenin' to her."

"You may have been on to something. If the men in your time were at a loss of breath upon seeing you as I am, wearing black is quite appropriate." Auggie spoke.

While eating her meal, Lalah was passing through TMB hall, on her way to Patricia, when she saw Mateo running toward her direction. "Hello Mateo. I'm assuming you have great news based on your excitement." She said to her Red teammate.

When Leon walked out of the cafeteria he had heard ledgers comment. It only made Leon more eager to go and correct the situation that Mateo had bailed him out of. He then made his way out of the facility and made his way to the ship where he found Lalah and Mateo with the latter looking like an eager beaver. "Good news I hope?"

"Yeah! It's..." Mateo was about to spill the beans when Leon spoke up. When he saw Leon arrive, the excited dropped down several notches. "Yeah. We're cleared to fly again." Mateo said.

Leon read the room right away when Leon changed his tune. "I see." Leon said as at that particular time, he other than Lalah and Auggie had done labeled Leon as the Black Sheep. Leon said as he looked at Lalah with an "I tried." look before leaving the ship to take a walk. It wasn't new to him and it was something that he caused. The way back to redemption was gonna be long and hard. He thought about talking to Bishop and maybe he could tell him what to do, so off to look for Bishop he went.

Watching Mateo's mood when Leon arrived made Lalah realized things were somewhat soured between them earlier. She also knew Leon had a long way to go to make his amends with the team. Once her Green friend left, she looked at Mateo.
"Why don't we go and informed the others to news. They do need some cheering up like us." Lalah suggested to Mateo, trying to lighten his mood from Leon.

"Sounds good." Like clockwork, Mateo's mood was beginning to swung back to normal once Leon was gone and he could get back to sharing the news. He began walking through the halls of the TMB, searching for his favorite youngin, sharpshooter, and knight.

Back on the ship, Bishop was getting comfy in the captain's chair after Mateo left.
"Feels like old times?"
"That it does. Although it feels like Mateo is wearing this seat out." Bishop chuckled.

Leon took a deep breath before he pleaded his case. “ Mateo is not to blame for the Fiasco that happened on the last mission. It was my fault. I accept 100% responsibility. I sought out the opinion and support of an ancestor when in reality I had the support from the team. I alone bullied Mateo into accepting that mission. I also alone not only jeopardized my team but my own life. And I also accept any reprimand or punishment that comes with my admittance of guilt. I have tried apologizing for my actions to the team, and the general consensus is that they don't want me here and honestly I don't blame them. I was in their shoes I wouldn't want me here either." Leon said, pleading his case.

"I'm already aware of the situation." Bishop said as soon as Leon started talking. He leaned forward in the chair, speaking firmly. I was in the room with top leadership when Mateo laid out his "version" of events. I've been around that kid a long time and could tell he was lying. We had a nice little chat to fill me in on the blanks and honestly, if this were still my chair, I'd have dropped your ass back at that dojo and just pretend that you never happened, but Teo is a big believer in second chances and seeing people happy." Bishop paused for a moment. "So while I'd love to tell the truth, that's not the decision Teo made and I'm backing his call, even if I don't agree with it."
"As for the team's feelings, you have to consider the scenario. They've been punished for a month and for that entire month, they've had nothing but time to stew on why this ship hasn't been in the air. Now that you're cleared for duty, those wounds can start to heal and you can show your sincerity through not just word salad, but your actions as well."

"You did nothing wrong. It is not your fault that our teammate is unable to properly articulate his feelings or have a mature conversation. I just fear that some of our friends are having a harder time than others when it comes to forgiving him for his sins." Auggie spoke, knowing Mateo and Ledger in particular were having a tougher time getting over what Leon did.
