"Time to get called to the principals office," Ledger snickered. "Imma get changed."
"Good idea," Samara said, heading for her room. She shut the door, sighing as she pressed er head against the cold metal of the door. She was well aware of Leon's "crush" on her as Ledger had called it, and she wasn't against Augustus' chivalrous nature. The poor Black Ranger had just never been locked into this kind of situation before, and surely never by two men let alone just one! "Lord above, what kind of struggle have I gotten myself into?"

Lalah smiled sadly as she went to her room to change. Between HQ and Leon's jealousy over Augustus, things were somewhat unfortunate. Perhaps after the meeting, she could reach out to Leon and help him sort his feelings out.

Leon sat in his quarters pacing the floor on what to do about this whole love triangle debacle he had going on. "Maybe I ask her out? No she's gonna reject you, clearly Augustus Gloop has her swooned. Challenge him to a duel? Sure but how sure of you against a true master swordsman?" He said to himself as he pondered aloud as he continued pacing behind closed quarter doors.

Finally back at the TMB HQ, the Patricia was promptly docked. When the exit hatch opened, Bishop was standing there, eventually walking onto the ship.
"Close the hatch, please." Bishop's stern tone even caught Sensei off guard.
"O..okay." Sensei closed the exit hatch with the team all still inside.
"You all have been busy." Bishop slowly walked over to the main console, leaning against it. "Breaking protocol to secure the target, breaking it again when you conveniently forgot to wipe the memory of the zord mage, intentionally delaying your mission debrief. The shit y'all are in is deep."
"Big bro." Mateo got out of his chair. "It's my fault. It was my call. He was going to die if I didn't. Don't punish the team. This was on me."
"I beg your pardon, Sir Bishop. The blame for these laws being broken falls upon me. I put these outstanding knights in a difficult position as I was not in my right state of mind, given the circumstances. Should it be necessary to fall on the sword, please allow me to do so. You all have given me an incredible gift. I know that my family is alive. If I must repay that gift with my life, I do it gladly."
Bishop sighed, mulling over what he heard. "Calm down. Nobody's dying. According to the report, given the nature of our enemy and the potential damage to the timeline had Lady Beryl and Calen teamed up, I authorized the actions as it was an emergency. I also authorized the number of smaller missions over the last several weeks to pursue Calen."
"I do not understand. I was told that we..."
"Exactly. That's exactly what happened." Mateo quickly cut Auggie off as he was visibly relieved as he realized that Bishop covered for them instead of hanging them out to dry.
For Augustus, it finally clicked as to what just went down. He still had lots to learn about modern day speech, but he knew body language and the Gold Ranger felt a huge sigh of relief, knowing that his behavior didn't get the team in too much trouble.
"Since disaster has been averted, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sir Augustus the Magnificent." He said, shaking hands with Bishop. "Sir Mateo and Lady Sensei sing your praises with the grandest of words. You've assembled a fantastic battalion of knights."
"Thank you. You're a hell of a knight yourself, especially since these guys were willing to break the rules for you."
"You humble me. I look forward to rewarding my friends for the faith they've placed in me and rewarding you for giving me a second chance at life."
"As do I." Bishop smiled, clapping Auggie's shoulder. "That's all I had. You all are free to go."
Sensei opened the exit hatch, allowing the team to leave.

It wasn't long after Lalah left her room that she entered the discussion with Bishop. With everything that happened, at least she and her teammates were not punished severely thanks to Bishop covering for them.
"Thank you, Bishop." Lalah acknowledged in appreciation. Once the hatch was opened, she walked out, but not before she was at a distant enough so she could meet up Leon.

Samara and Ledger followed out behind Lalah, the Blue and Black Rangers seperating. Samara sighed to herself as she walked away, folding her arms before making her way down a hallway.
Ledger glanced between Samara and the others, eyes landing on Leon before he turned and headed away, deciding to get sometghing to eat.

Once the others left, Augustus tried to slide away, only to be stopped.
"Hold on a sec." Bishop said. "There is one other thing I have to point out to you and your fair captain."
"Me? What did I do?" Mateo shrugged his shoulders.
"Clearly, you didn't take better care in executing that mind wipe in New Orleans." Bishop said. He wasn't angry, but he had to bust their balls about it.
"What do you mean? That was a clean wipe!" Mateo exclaimed.
"Is that right?" Bishop raised an eyebrow. He walked over to the big screen and pulled visuals from New Orleans 2024. "While you all were enjoying the twerking and other.... benefits the city had to offer, individuals captured videos and pictures of your battle. Now a local businessman names Melbourne Baptiste had what he needed to finalize the creation of his own Ranger team - Dino Brave." Bishop scrolled through several images, showing the Dino Brave in action over the next year. "While they may not know where these images came from because of the big wipe, they're still out there."
"Clearly they took some creative liberties with the suits." Mateo pointed out. "Between the extra white in the design and turning Leon's suit yellow... man he's gonna enjoy that one."
"Luckily for him, we won't be adopting those changes. Still, you all need to be careful." Bishop said.
"My bad. I should have paid more attention." Mateo admitted. "Do I need to go back and clean it up?"
"No. Luckily, these appear to be good guys and it hasn't damaged the timeline from what we can tell, so we'll let it go for now." Bishop responded.
"Oh well. I was hoping we'd be going back. I think there was a wrestling show going on around that time that I missed because we were working." Mateo spoke.
"You mean the grappling in a pit?" Augustus asked.
"Yes, but it's far more advanced now. Come to think of it, Leon's ancestor was wrestling during that period." Bishop added.
"The one that was a Ranger?" Mateo asked.
"Yes. He was the second Black Aura Striker Ranger who stepped away to pursue his career in wrestling after defeating Zaron." Bishop said.
"So we are not the only Ranger heroes?" Augustus asked.
"Not even close. Duncan was a good one. Really strong too." Mateo added. "I remember having to travel to an impromptu match where he had to wrestle a beast named Vile K Menace to save the others. Since the beast could only be beaten by wrestling, he was the only one that could do it. That match was awesome!"
"I shall enjoy learning of this Ranger history." Augustus smiled.
"You could talk to Sam. Since she's someone else who isn't as caught up on present day, the two of you studying together could help." Mateo smirked.
"A wise decision, my captain. I shall see you all later." Auggie shook Bishop's hand again and gave Mateo a fist bump before leaving the ship.
What the three men failed to do was double check the exit hatch, so if a certain Green Ranger was still in ear shot, he could have obtained some valuable information.

As Leon finally made up his mind to go and talk to Sam, he overheard what Mateo said and it caught him off guard for two reasons. Reason one was no one in his family told him that his ancestor and the one that got all his ancestors and more recent his father and grandfather to continue the family business was ranger. The second reason was that Mateo just basically cock-blocked Leon. So when Leon did come out, he was both puzzled and annoyed at the same time.

It didn't take too long for Lalah to wait anymore as she saw Leon coming out from Patricia. As she walked closer, she noticed his expression becoming more vexxed than ever. "Leon? Leon, are you okay?" She asked her Green teammate.

Once Augustus left the Patricia, he looked up at the TMB facility, visibly in awe of the structure. "It's grand. It's a technological marvel that the Earth Kingdom would be proud of. It then hit him that he had no idea where he was going.
"Yo Auggie, you probably need a tour guide... er an escort through these castle walls." Sensei said through his Chrono Com.
"That would be fantastic, M'Lady." Auggie began walking, based on the directions provided in his com as a bit of a self tour until he caught up to the others.

Back on the ship, Sensei was shaking her cyber head. "Teo, now why did you do that?"
"Do what?" Mateo asked.
"Don't play dumb with me, boy." Sensei said. "Sending Auggie to Sam for 'studying'."
"And? What's wrong with that?"
"Am I missing something?" Bishop asked.
"Leon has a crush on Samara that's so obvious that even Yomi of the Three Kings could see it. Ever since Auggie's been here, he's made his intentions very clear, not in like a creeper way, but in a medieval charmer type of way and with those two being the furthest removed from present day, it's given them something in common to immediately to bond over. And your boy over here decided to nudge Auggie along."
"If you're gonna rag on me, tell Big Bro the whole story." Mateo smirked. "We've been on this ship for months and not once has Leon made a move or even as much as verbalized his desires. The only reason we all know is because his cheeks turn as red as my suit every time she's within ten feet of him. I love the guy, but he's stuck in his ways. You can't cockblock someone who hasn't made a move yet."
"Hmmmmm..." Bishop stroked his chin. "Points were made. Has anyone said anything to Samara about this?"
"Nope. I'm pretty sure she's picked up on his Red Ranger cheeks by now. It really comes down to what she wants and I don't want to try and nudge her in one direction or another."
"Okay. As long as this doesn't cause any problems within the team." Bishop said.
"Yup yup. It's not like Leon's gonna bug out and challenge Auggie to a serious Duel or anything." Mateo laughed.
"Let's hope not. We don't need a repeat of when you challenged Valentine." Bishop laughed.
"Hey! I won that fight, remember?"
"Yeah, after you started fighting your own fight and not obsess over being a master swordsman." Bishop smiled, remembering that face off. He continued to joke with Mateo as they were the last two to leave the ship with them still unaware that Leon heard the portion of the conversation involving his ancestor.

Ledger found himself in the cafeteria, getting some food and sitting down. Around him, he heard people talking about their runs as Rangers, some expressing concern and others wonder. He stayed silent, taking a bite out of his sandwich as he uncapped his water, enjoying just listening to the conversations. His mind, however, did wander to the Leon/Samara/Augustus triangle that seemed to be forming. As far as the Blue Ranger knew, the Green Ranger hadn't taken any steps to talk to Samara about it, just getting red in the face every time he saw her, especially taht day on the beach. But with Augustus, Ledger could see how the Knight would be attracted to Samara, and it wasn't just because they were the two "oldest" people on the team.
"Sam's hot, and she gives off "sexy bartender" vibes like she's Mad Moxxi and she's really good with her gun. I just hope it doesnt' end up with Leon and Augustus fighting over her. Though if it does, my money's on Samara to stop it." the Blue Ranger thought, taking a drink of his water and setting the bottle back down.

The Black Ranger in question, however, found herself in the library. Taking time to search for books that might help her figure things out, Samara had secluded herself in a corner, opting to start reading. She was aware of Leon's crush on her, but the Green Ranger never made any moves. And in her defense, she wasn't entirely sure what she wanted. She trusted Leon, that was for sure, and after all these months together, there was an affection, but she couldn't place what kind was there. She hoped taht her reading and research could help, but she also knew she needed to talk to someone. She just didn't know if Lalah would be the right person.
"Now's when I wish my mama was here. She'd have the answers to this," she said. "Ain't never had two boys fawnin' over me like this. It's damn odd."

Leon stopped when he heard Lalah calling for him. "Honestly? Puzzled, annoyed, and wanting to just get something over and done with." Leon said with a pause before he continued.
"All my life, everyone in my family wrestled as far as men and even some women. All originated from my ancestor Duncan Steele. He's a multi time champion and hall of famer. That I knew. What I didn't know and I don't know if my family hid on purpose, was that he was the second black ranger of the Power Rangers Aura Strikers to which I just found out after listening in to a conversation from Bishop and Mateo." Leon stated before he continued.
" Secondly, which lately has been painfully obvious is that I've been crushing on Sam since that day at the beach and I have made no advancements cause I'm such an idiot when it comes to women. However, here comes a literal knight in armor with Mr Augustus here, he comes in and just swoops in and makes this problem a three way dance. Not to mention that Mateo who's been egging me in ways about this whole ordeal decides to say "Oh hey! I think its a good idea for Auggie and Sam to pair up to learn about things" essentially throwing a monkey wrench. I'm honestly beside myself!" Leon says as he feels like he's about to hyper ventilate or blow up whichever comes first.

Seeing Leon on a verge of a panic attack, Lalah quickly steered him to an out-of-the-way hallway that led to an emergency exit so he could have space to just breathe it out. While she knew she shouldn't have touch him, she couldn't just stand there and not help him in a way. After helping him ride it out, she waited for several minutes until it's time for her to respond.
"First off, one topic at a time." Lalah began. "We'll start with a brand new information about your ancestor. I didn't know he was a Power Ranger. I suppose it hadn't been mentioned. As for your family, perhaps Duncan kept this secret so they didn't need to know the truth and for their safety from dangerous foes."

"Well that's a video call I plan on making in the direct near future. That and I plan on asking him how the fuck do I handle his family berating me from not choosing the wrestling path.." Leon said trying to simmer down.

"Is it possible to get in contact with your ancestor? Because I am not sure if the Bureau will allow you to." Lalah said, trying to find the logic in this.
