While enjoying the rhythm of music that almost reminded of her time. she avoided the incoming attacks before she drove several kicks to send the foot soldiers flying. "I will admit, this place reminds me of the time I have a lovely outing with Ida Kohlmeyer and George Dureau during my gallery tour."

"You see that's what you get for calling a woman of taste and class that phrase. If I could pardon a phrase from the french speakers of these parts, that's what you get, cooyon. She our age, just from a different era. But there's something about a woman and a thick country gal accent though.." Leon said as he tried not to blurt but his head couldn't stop his heart from splurging that last compliment out..

Lalah looked at Leon with an eyebrow raised while knocking a few Dionauts away. "Leon, are you acting okay?" She asked out of concern.

"And young man, I'd mind my tongue regarding age if I were you. During my studies, I came across the phrase aging like fine wine and I can understand how that may apply." Auggie looked at Samara while saying that, still unaware of Leon's predicament.
Mateo couldn't help but snicker while flinging a Dionaut out of the nearest bar. "I wish I brought popcorn!"
Samara giggled and slashed out at another Dionaut, kicking one backward. "I think I like that phrase," she said.
Ledger snickered, shaking hish ead and dodging more civilians and Dionauts before firing at one, blowing it's head off. "Alright, alright, let's stop with the flirting and get back to kicking ass!"
"Ain't a law sayin' we can't do both, Ledger!" Samara said, slashing another creature down.

Seeing enough, Bandicoto charged through the narrow street, knocking over whoever was in his path. He spotted Samara first, wrapping his claw around her throat. Before Leon could respond, Augustus stepped in, delivering a strong side kick to the creature.
"Have you no shame! Attacking a fair maiden such as this. You may try your luck with me at your own peril."
Bandicoto ran at the Gold Ranger who rushed in, delivering several punches to the gut before executing a unique combination of punches and kicks before finishing with a spin kick, knocking Bandicoto to the ground.
"Oh captain, my captain! Please ready the Chrono Spike." The Gold Ranger requested.
"We don't have the room! The explosion will cause too much damage." Mateo explained.
"Have trust in me. I shall make the room you need." The Gold Ranger charged forward again, exchanging blows with the beast.
"Okay. Let's give it a shot. Guys, time for the Chrono Spike!" The Red Ranger gave the order.

Before Leon could move to save Samara, Agustus came out of nowhere which angered Leon further "Oh captain, my Captain....What a kiss ass...." He muttered under his breath as he tossed Mateo his Raptor Claw.

Lalah huffed, realizing Leon didn't answer her question due to his jealousy. "Dandy, isn't it?" She asked herself as she gave Mateo her Tricera Drill for the Chrono Spike formation.

Ledger and Samara handed over their Para Shot and Stega Shield, ready to go for the Tricera Spike. "Let's do it, Teo!" the Blue Ranger said.

As the Chrono Spike was being formed, Auggie had little trouble with the rat beast.
"Allow me to escort you to your demise." Augustus jumped atop one of the balconies. When Bandicoto tried following, the Gold Ranger jumped off of the balconies, kicking him several times with the beast going higher and higher into the air with every kick. Using the wings on his suit, he was able to keep himself airborne, allowing him to focus more on power. "Captain! Are you all set?"
"We're ready!" Mateo shouted.
"Excellent. He's all yours!" Augustus launched one last kick before flying out of the way.
"CHRONO SPIKE!" The team yelled out, throwing the mighty weapon at the creature, destroying it almost instantly, causing a major explosion. Thanks to the beast being in the air, there was no damage to the streets or the citizens.
"Yes! Great shot, guys!" Mateo exclaimed, praising the team. "And good work to you too, Auggie."
"Many thanks. It was quite the enjoyable battle." Auggie said after landing and walking towards his teammates.

"Tick tock." Mateo said in a hushed tone to where only Ledger could hear him as he placed his arm around the Blue Ranger, knowing this was getting under Leon's skin.

All the complements Augustus was paying Samara was really getting under Leon's skin to the point where you could almost see steam come out of Leon's green helmet to match the color of his envy. Leon was caught between a rock and hard place. On one hand, if he spoke out or lashed out, it would probably influence Samara to think that Leon was some sort of arrogant asshole and on the other hand, if he said nothing, Augustus would have Samara ripe for the picking. Leon demorphed and headed back towards the ship before he did something he'd regret as Leon's inner battle of Love and Pride versus Shyness and Lack of confidence raged on.

Samara smiled as she looked at Augustus. "Thank you, sugar. Somethin' about the music just made me feel like dancing while fightin' and it seemed like a good combination," she said. She watched Leon demorph and storm off, and her head cocked softly, curious about the Green Ranger.
Ledger snickered. "I'll admit, it's fun watching Leon get mad, but at the same time....knowing his crush on Sam and teh way Auggie's doin', Imma bet shit's gonna clash," he said. "And hoenstly, my money's probably on Sam breaking up the fight."

"You're probably right." Mateo admitted. "Still, there's one easy way to solve all of this. I just hope Leon gets it right in time." He said.
"Guys, I hate to rain on this parade, but HQ is calling us back." Sensei said.
"Time to face the music, I guess." Mateo sighed.
"Allow me to pave the way for our exit." The Gold Ranger slipped a charger into his Ptera Morpher before firing it into the sky. "Mind Wipe Charger!" Augustus fired the shot, causing the area to be engulfed in a bright light. When the light dimmed, the Rangers were gone and all that was left were the citizens, believing they were just partying the entire time, unaware of any danger. What the Rangers didn't account for were photos that were taken, photos that showed off the Rangers' suits and weapons, something that would serve as inspiration for a new team of Rangers in the near future, changing history once again.

Once Lalah returned to Patricia, she dusted herself before she looked up at her remaining teammates. "Well, this is another pleasant time of adventure. Sadly, the fun is over." She said.
