"Not just this." Alluka smiles to Kari, remembering the helpful advices from Commander Scotts a while back when she and Cody are having relationship problems. At the time she can't lean on her friends because they have their own problems to deal with. "It is no wonder that the beautiful bond he, Eric, and our superiors shared survives through the passage of time. Not to mention the Commander's love for him."
As Cody follows his family to the vehicle, he looks around his surroundings until he properly gets a full view of Wes. It takes seconds to process until he feels his eyes widen at the realization. "It's funny. You're the one I look up to the most." He says with admiration. "One of the best Reds out there, the one who carves his own path, the one who changed history, all by just being yourself? It's an honor to finally meet you, Wes."

Kari gave a nod to Alluka and smiled. "Plus damn, he's really good on the eyes too." She finished with another smirk.

Wes chuckled and shook his head, leading the Rangers to the cars befre getting into the lead. Once he saw the Rangers step in, he started his own and took off, the others following behind.

With Rolo opting to sit by the window to see the view, this leaves Alluka being at the middle between the boy and Cody inside the lead vehicle. Neither she or her boyfriend feel like sitting at shotgun so it's better to stay in the back. Eventually it is Alluka who speaks up first.
"Thank you for helping us, Wes. We would have parked at your place with our WaveRunner but our enemy boss, Queen Arianas, has other plans unfortunately." The Earth-born Umekian explains.
"It's bad enough our team is overwhelmed by her and her army, and now our ship is broken beyond repair. It's going to take a long while before we'll ever return to our time." Cody says with disappointment.

"While the ship may be in need of repair, you aren't entirely stranded," Wes said, loking back at the Blue and Black Rangers. "I helped Jen and the others when they were stranded here because of Ransik. I'll do the same for you. Only this time it own't be a ratty old clocktower. It'll be a decent place, access to Silver Guardians tech, our facilities. You won't be without help."

"I see." Alluka tilts her head, letting out a hum in understanding. "Decent places I do not mind so long as I have space. I am used to sharing one room with my sisters." "Some occasions I hang out at Alluka's place. It's more comfortable than living on the streets or in my room back at the Headquarters." Cody acknowledges with a small shrug, choosing not to mention the many times he and his girlfriend stayed over whenever one of them have a night terror at their respective room. "Although I don't mind the clocktower. Living there would be interesting." "Clocktower would be nice, but then I would hear the large bell ringing. I rather have a rooster wake me up instead or even my dad's snores." Rolo finally chimes in, looking over to his uncle, Alluka, and Wes. "Any other places I lived in, I don't feel relax enough until now. But hey, adventure is adventure." Cody hums softly, his frown subtly showing. 'At least now, you have us.' He thinks in the end. "You know with the adventure you're having, you may want to gain more knowledge here. Things like history, fantasy, and even wizardry do exists. You just have to plan ahead."
"Then I'll make a list of things I want to do until we return." Rolo grins at his uncle.
Alluka nods her head in acknowledgement before focusing back to Wes. "By the way, where is your friend Eric? As far as I know, his Quantasaurus Rex is here taking down the flying squadrons." |

"I can dig having help this time around." Kari said looking to Wes. "I'd love to take a look at your medical facilities if possible?" She asked.

Wes nodded. "Eric was taking down whatever those flying enemies were. I'm sure he'll be back at headquarters soon," he said. "When they arrived, we didn't know what was going on, nad then Jen called and told me what happened. She filled me in on Delta Squad, gave me the entire story." He sighed, looking at the others. "I'm sorry abou what happened to K'hysh."
Tan looked out of hte window, hands clenching.

Sojiro listened to the group before feeling the hurt about K'hysh. "It was a major slap in the face, Wes. We're doing what we can to keep her memory alive," he said before turning to Tan.
"Tanjiro, are you alright?" he asked the Red Ranger.

"We know. Even though it's been almost a year, it's still fresh. We have to keep going with our lives." Cody says with a sad smile. When he sees Tan feeling down, he places his hand on his Red comrade's shoulder to comfort him.
Alluka nods her head in agreement with her friends. When the Black Ranger notices Tan's solemn frame, she briefly shares a look with her boyfriend to let him know what they're going to do after. Then with a sigh, she places her hand on Kari's shoulder to comfort her since she takes K'hysh's disappearance the hardest.
Rolo observes the adults carefully. Given their sad expressions, perhaps the long trip K'hysh have gone hurt them more than they let on. They miss her like she's dead or something. While he doesn't know the extent, one things for sure he doesn’t like being lied to. With a subtle frown, he turns his head around to look at the window, watching the places gone by.

"Welcome to The Silver Guardians," Wes said. "Let's head upstairs and we'll talk more."

Hearing K'hysh's name caused Kari to recluse a little. She stayed quiet and took in their surroundings as they entered The Silver Guardians head quarters.

"No. But it's best not discussed right now," Tan said, looking at Sojiro. He looked out as the cars pulled into a garage, the vehicles shutting off.
"Welcome to The Silver Guardians," Wes said. "Let's head upstairs and we'll talk more."
Sojiro nodded until the cars finally stopped and he stepped out, "Well, that was a nice ride," he said to himself, ready to get into business.

Upon arriving at the headquarters, Rolo steps out from the vehicle followed by Cody and Alluka. Slinging his backpack back on, the boy then shoves his hands on his sweater pockets as he stares at the new facility. "So this is the base for Silver Guardians, huh? Cool." He beams.
Cody walks next to his nephew. "It is cool." He admits. "It does serve as a predecessor to Time Force Headquarters. With a dash of different tech that's for sure."
"It is vastly different. Then again, when we all travel through time, everything we see has changed." Alluka points out with a smirk.
Rolo tilts his head in confusion. "You guys haven't changed anything from the past, right?"
Alluka and Cody averts their eyes briefly before they stare at the boy again. "Not much." Both answer simultaneously.

As the Rangers got the tour of the Silver Guardians headquarters, Wes explained how they were starting to branch out into other cities, namely Ranger cities. Stopping outside of the medical lab, the former Red Ranger looked at Kari. "Ms. Thompson, our medical facilities. Inside you'll find Dr. Aiko Serizawa, our head of department, and Dr. Kiara Frost. They'll help you adjust to this time and get you acquainted with our systems." The door opened and two women walked out. Dr. Serizawa looked at Wes and the Rangers, giving a smile. "Captain Collins. Are these the new Rangers?" she asked. "Yes. Dr. Aiko Serizawa, meet the Delta Squad Time Force Rangers. This is Kari, and she'll be working with you ladies." Kiara ooked at Kari and smield. "It's wonderful to meet you, Kari. I'm sure we'll be able to help you out." |
