Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

The Waverunner nosedived, the other engine trying to compensate for the loss of it's twin. Circuit yelled as he managed to crash the ship into the forest outside of town, the Waverunner sliding to a halt in the dirt and trees, coming to rest with a loud *CREEEEEEEAK*. Circuit turned to face the Rangers and Rolo, and he sighed.

"I'm sorry, Rangers. I did the best I could," the bird said. "Scanners are down, but my last glimpse was we're in the forest just outside of the city."

"You're fine, Circuit. You did your best. THat's all we can ask for." Tan sighed, undoing his restraint and slowly getting to his feet. "Guys, are you alright?"

Rolo shuts his eyes, praying that he and everyone survive the crash without dying. Suddenly, he feels the movement all around him and yet, he doesn't let go. Carefully opening his eyes, Rolo’s head snaps up in disbelief, eyes widening upon the sight of everyone seemingly moving. "We're alive? We're alive!" He blows an elated sigh of relief as he unbuckles his seat belt. "For a moment, my whole life flashed before my eyes, but it never happened. I should've be a little less charitable."

"That makes two of us. I should do this when my vacation is available." Alluka groans, rubbing her head after all the movement she's receiving. Looking around, she notices debris here and there, but it's not as worse as the exterior perhaps. Then she stares at her boyfriend scratching his chest rapidly. Some think he's having a panic attack, but to few like Alluka, a piece of his old memory resurfaces. Even after regaining his previous life, there are some that remained locked away.

Unstrapping herself, the Black Ranger went to Cody's side, wraps her hand around his, rubs her thumb over the back of his hand, and waits. "Easy." She whispers, running her other hand on his hair in soothing circles. "Remember. Curl your fingertips in. Use the blunt of your nails if you are going to scratch that much."

It takes about twenty seconds for Cody to come back into focus. He blinks, slumps his body back against his seat. He leans his head forward to try to control his breathing as he continues to scratch with the blunt of his nails. Eventually, his fingers relaxed, as he let out a shaky sigh and swallowed past his dry mouth. ".....okay..." he says, mostly speaking to himself. "Okay....I'm okay....I'm okay I'm okay..."

"Is he okay?" Rolo asks Alluka, wondering what's going on with his uncle since he never seen him freaked out before. "What is going on with Uncle Cody, Ms. Makiya?"

"He had an episode. A lost memory of his, but he is coming to." Alluka informs the boy, her eyes remain on his uncle as he returns to normal. She can sense that Rolo is confused about the answer. “We are going to tell you what we can, okay? But not for now. You are gonna have to trust that anything we are not telling you, we are holding back for a reason.”

"You promise?"

"I promise." Alluka answers with conviction, unbuckling her boyfriend's seatbelt while she's at it.

Once Cody regaining his bearings, he slowly looks around, taking in on his surroundings. Eventually his eyes train on Alluka and a worried Rolo behind her. "L-Luka? R-Rolo?"

"You are alright. You just had an episode. Do you remember anything?" Alluka asks calmly.

"A little. It's not important though." Cody responds half-truthfully, shaking his head a little. Deciding to change the topic, he rises from his seat, his legs wobbling from vertigo as he takes a peek outside from the window. "So we finally arrived in 2029. Good thing the forest cushioned the landing, Circuit. Would've been worse."

"Um, Kari, you are confusing yourself. The leader is right here." Alluka points to herself since she happens to be the leader since K'hysh's absence. The she gives Tanjiro an apologetic smile. "My apologies on this one, Tanjiro."

"Anyway..." Cody trails off to remind his girlfriend.

"Oh yes." Alluka remembers. "We still have to meet with Wes and Eric. The trek to the city may be long, but what else can we do. We must keep going."

Rolo purses his lips as he looks over to Circuit. "Circuit, is the ship going to be okay?"

Alluka becomes upset the WaveRunner receives major damage, and knowing the timetable, she and the others will be stuck her for a while away from their loved ones. "That is basically it." She agrees to her Red comrade's assessment.

"At least I'll get to see the Q-Rex up close and personal. It's too bad the Dragonzord isn't around. I would pay to see these giant robots duke it out live." Cody muses with a small laugh.

"That'll be the best form of entertainment of all time. Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers." Rolo replies to his uncle with a sad smile, and Cody chuckles at this.

Alluka smiles fondly at the exchange. Despite missing her sisters, at least she finds comfort knowing Cody has Rolo so they don't suffer much heartbreak. Facing everyone fully, she makes her announcement. "We must make our move to the destination now before it is too late. We will bring  Circuit and the WaveRunner over there afterwards."

"My bad." Kari said hearing everyone speak of how they should start this new journey. She stood and gathered herself before looking to the others. "Well then, shall we?" She asked.

Sojiro nodded, "Yeah," he said as shook his head from the daze after suffering the crash landing. "Don't wanna keep stalling."

As the five Rangers and Rolo made their way off of the damaged Waverunner, a squad of black vehicles pulled up and stopped, a squad of soldiers getting out and drawing their weapons.

"Great," Tan muttered, holding his hands up.

"Stand down," a voice said, a man walking through the soldiers. "They're friendlies." He stopped in front and smiled. "I'm Wes Collins. You must be Time Force's newest team."

"Yes, sir," Tan said, slowly lowering his hands. "I'm Tanjiro Kamiya, this is Alluka Makiya, Cody Thoumeaux, Sojiro Yamagamine, and Kari Thompson. We were tracking--"

"A giant moon-like structure that's hovering just out of Earth's orbit? Yeah, we've already seen it," Wes said. "If you'll come with us, we'll get you taken care of at the Silver Guardians, and we'll work out a plan to stop these invaders."

Dropping her hands out of the defensive stance, Kari looked at the others as the Wes Collins was in front of them and talking to them. "Holy crap, he's kind of a legend." She said with a shrug and heading for the vehicles.
