 It’s been six months since Nausis was imprisoned after attempting to take over Time Force. Now in a cell in the Norios Prison with the rest of the original prisoners, the Rangers were able to finally relax. Or so they thought. On a mission to the Lunar Colonies to meet with Martian delegates to arrest her brother, K’hysh went missing. The only evidence being a recording from inside of the shuttle she’d taken. The recording showed signs of a struggle until the camera was shot out, leaving the Red Rangers fate unknown, the only thing being left was her Morpher. Five months later, a disturbance rocks Time Force, signaling a new battle for the remaining four Delta Squad Rangers to fight. It’s been eleven months since K’hysh disappeared and her morpher was returned to Time Force. News of the attack on the Lunar Colony spread like wildfire, but in the months since, the attacking ship had not returned, nor had anyone seen anything about it. In that time, Time Force Command had declared K’hysh legally dead, having no body to recover. The footage from the Waverunner’s cameras hadn’t given any clues, and Commander Scotts had given up hope on ever finding her Red Ranger’s killers. Walking through the halls of Command, the former Pink Ranger stopped at the wall of the Fallen, reading names of fallen Time Force officers. Her eyes lingered on Alex, Captain Logan, and even Nadira, but when she got to K’hysh’s name, her hands clenched tightly. She turned and walked away, heading for her office. Looking at her tablet as it beeped, she pulled up the alert.
“So. You finally showed your faces, you bastards? Good. My Rangers are going to put you down.” Jen saw the footage from a Time Force base on Titan, seeing the massive ship heading for Earth. “Eighteen hours at the latest. That’s enough time to get them back together. And…implement something I really didn’t want to have to do just yet.” She hit the elevator, heading for the office before shutting the door and taking the Red Morpher out, setting it on the desk. “Cadet Tanjiro Kamiya, report to Commander Scotts’ office. Cadet Kamiya, report to my office.”

Walking down the halls of Time Force, Tanjiro or “Tan” to his friends, sighed as he tucked his phone away, having gotten off of a call with his overbearing mother. He shook his head, sighing again as he passed the wall of the fallen, seeing the names and ranks of the officers. He looked at K’hysh’s name, having only met the Martian woman a few times, but knowing she was always the right person to be Delta Squads’ Red Ranger. "You don’t know how much you’re missed, K’hysh. Everyone misses you. I wish Commander Scotts had answers. That’s all anyone wants,” he said, walking away. He intended to go to the cafeteria, but a message played over the bases’ speakers.
“Cadet Tanjiro Kamiya report to Commander Scotts’ office. Cadet Kamiya report to my office.”
Tan blinked, looking up at the speaker and frowning. “Oh, shit. I hope I’m not in trouble…” He jogged down the hall to the elevator, empty stomach forgotten about as he made his way up toward the Commander’s office, praying he wasn’t about to be terminated. |

"Make a wish!" Cody smiles fondly at his love as he allows himself a moment to contemplate the image in front of him. They returned to Alluka’s apartment a few minutes ago after celebrating his birthday dinner. Now, they have settled around the island of her kitchen, ready to continue the celebrations starting with the special cupcake Alluka buys for him. It has been a whirlwind for him, Cody admits to himself, with a bittersweet feeling. Even with his life not being the same, he does try to regain the fond moments he used to have before the accident that leads to his amnesia. He still has a long way to go to figure out how to let himself embrace peace and happiness for himself. An inner voice reminds him his life will never be complete, that there will always be a missing piece. A missing piece he knows will be impossible to find. Even so, he shelves his thoughts and focuses on the present, looking towards Alluka for support. She gives him a reassuring smile as she nods subtly, just the signal he needs. He closes his eyes and silently makes his wish before blowing out the candle. He opens them to see Alluka approaching him and wraps him in her arms. " Xuff0 rahkxtu0 m0 celo." Alluka mutters as her lips brushes his. “Thank you, Luka. Thank you for this.” Cody smiles proudly, pressing his forehead against hers. He sighs contentedly, a warm feeling spreading across his chest. "I do my best. After all this." Alluka smiles in a bittersweet way. "I know, Beloved. I know." Cody doesn't blame her. It has been 11 months since the last battle with Nausis. The evil may be fallen, but the losses has increased. It's bad enough he, his girlfriend, and their friend are coming to grips with Garrus's passing, and now with K'hysh, it... changes them. He still goes to therapy, trying to come to terms with these events, and he becomes surprised when Alluka joins in because of her fear of everything falling apart around her especially with the relationship they have. If they want to make their love work, they have to fight for this and fight for each other, which remains a work in progress. A sudden knock on the door interrupts their moment. Alluka gives him a confused look. “Are we expecting someone?” They haven’t, but as Cody moves away from the kitchen island, wondering who could come to visit them at this time of day. Maybe it was some neighbor who needed a favor, he thinks as he opens the door. It isn’t a neighbor, but a boy of about ten who is waiting in the hallway. He has scrapes all over his face and knees. But he's still smiling, his hand clinging to the strap of his backpack. A sinking feeling settles low in his stomach when his gaze meets the boy's. "Can I help you?" "Hi, you don’t know me but I’m - “ The boy pauses, seemingly rethinking his words. He seems to pull himself together and bravely opens up. “A-Are you Corduroy Thoumeaux?" Cody holds his breath as his heart tightens in anticipation before uttering aloud a question he senses will be decisive. If the picture he keeps indicates who he is, then it’s too good to be true. But he needs to be sure so he doesn’t scare the boy and himself. "Y-Yeah, who are you?" He asks slowly, waiting for the confirmation. "My name is Rolo. I'm your nephew." |

Sojiro had been spending his time at the gym, thinking about K'hysh's departure. He decided to meet up with his father, who had grown closer to him due to them having Argonite heritage. After a long training session, he was looking forward to having his dad's famous Dragon Habanero Roll.

In the time K'hysh had been pronounced dead, Kari had gone through so many different emotions. Most nights, she found herself standing in the middle of the now emptied apartment she had planned to surprise her girlfriend with when she returned. Her emotions keeping her from letting it go. Other nights, she found herself laying in bed crying herself to sleep, unable to do much of anything else. They had only gotten each other for a short amount of time. It wasn't fair. In the first few months, she had almost completely pulled away from her mother and her team of rangers. Seeing them made everything so real and too painful to bear.
Then, something lit within her. Remembering the video and seeing the attack caused her to lean more away from medical life and dive more into warrior life. She now a days spends most of her time working out, training, and sharpening every skill she has in her arsenal. No matter what, she would get revenge on whoever took the love of her life from from her. It didn't matter anymore who stood in front of her, who tried to keep her from it, nothing was going to stop her from killing the ones that caused this.
Standing in the gym on base, she found herself punching with all her might into multiple punching bags. Going through motions and series of moves, hitting every bag as it popped up.

Standing the gym and watching Kari, Katie Walker sighed as she folded her arms. She knew what kind of pain the Pink Ranger was in, having seen it once before with Jen and Alex. "You just in a vendetta against the heavy bags, kid?" she asked, walking up. "Or do you want a target you can vent to? I won't fight back, just give you an opponent that moves." _____________ Near the rings of Saturn, a ship floated toward Earth. Standing at the center of the room, Queen Arianas of the Epislon Battalion looked at the shining Earth in the distance, chuckling. "Soon, that planet will know our wrath. Revenge for Nausis, revenge for all evils that have been destroyed by the forces of good." "My Queen," a woman said, walking forward with a trident in her hand. Setting the end on the ground, she bowed her head. "What will you have us do upon arrival?" "Aquisa. Once we arrive, the invasion will begin. Use your Dead Water to flood the city. Stolkan will be the muscle, Bolt will do what he does best. Drakis, I want him to sever any technology that might interfere with our plan. I will go after Time Force directly," Arianas said. "Yes, ma'am," Aquisa said. "We arrive on Earth in three hours at current speed. We will begin preperations." |

Kari jerked around and looked at Katie, a sigh leaving her mouth as her breath steadied out. "I have a vendetta against everything." The pink ranger said shrugging. "So why not?" She asked flatly lifting her fists into a defensive stance.

Of all the events Alluka has ever dealt with, this is definitely not one of them. For months, the search for Rolo becomes naught due to the revelation that he moves away with his foster parents. It leaves Cody distraught to the point he just wants to give up. Between K'hysh and Garrus's deaths and everyone drifting away, her life begins to crumble to the point she breaks.
Cody doesn't realize this until he sees her in this state. After much talking, he suggests Alluka give therapy a try and also promising to be there for her like he used to. And she does.
Now with Rolo barging right past his newly found Uncle and into her apartment, completely ignoring her boyfriend's demands to know how he got here and what he was doing, she realizes the spark of hope has returned.
“I jumped off their car and ended up on the road. Then I found a bus, took me back to Silver Hills, and here I am. It's long but I don't regret it because I found you. I have the picture of you to prove it.” Rolo explains, taking the picture our from his pocket so he can show it.
“This is you,” Rolo says, not waiting for Cody to process the information.
Cody widens his eyes with shock. “You kept it. I thought the photos were lost in a fire.”
Rolo frowns, his expression eerily similar to his Uncle's. "Nope. Dad give it to me. He says it helps me remember you even when you're not here."
Alluka sees Cody staring at Rolo, wondering how in the hell he does this. From what her boyfriend tells her, he runs away following his parents' demise until Ephraim finds him a year. So for Rolo to escape from his foster parents, she has a feeling the escape artist act definitely runs (no pun intended) in the family.
After Cody excuses himself, and heads straight for her bathroom, this leaves her with Rolo. She doesn't want the boy to feel too awkward around her home so she's going to make sure to keep him comfortable until her boyfriend returns.
The Black Ranger walks over to the boy and kneels to his level. "You will have to forgive your Uncle. He never thought he see you again." She tells him. "By the way, my name is Alluka Makiya. Cody's -"
"Special friend? Girlfriend?"
She chuckles, choosing to be honest. "Yes. Yes I am."
Rolo stares curiously at Alluka before he shakes her hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Makiya. I'm sorry I enter your place like that. I used the locator spell from my book to take me here." He apologizes. Then his eyes flicker on Alluka's Delta Brace. "What's this?"
Alluka glances down at her morpher before she moves her head to Rolo with a smirk. "That is the Delta Brace. This helps me and Cody do things like any superheroes do."
"No way! You both are superheroes?! That's awesome! When does this happen?!" Rolo grins excitedly. On cue, his stomach begins to rumble, causing him to smile sheepishly. "I will tell you more after. Right now you need to eat." Alluka informs the boy with a giggle of her own before she leads him to the fridge.
It doesn’t take long until Cody appears from her bathroom with his hair all messy. Alluka knows he's still reeling from seeing his nephew again. She motions him to come here at the kitchen island, watching him walk next to her before he begins eating the cupcake. They discussed things a little more. Well, mostly Alluka and Rolo while Cody chimes in here and there.
Eventually, Cody opens up albeit tentatively. "So Rolo, w-would like for us to give you a tour at the Time Force Academy?"
Rolo perks up at his Uncle. "Really?" He asks, and Cody nods in response. "Well, you mention you want to know where I and Alluka work and how we become superheroes. Is that right?"
Rolo nods, his smile forms slowly at the thought of going with his Uncle and his lady friend. "You got me on superheroes, Uncle Corduroy!"
"I hope the Commander does not mind your arrival. It will be nice." Alluka replies. "But so long as you remain by our side. You will never know what rooms you end up at before it is too late."
After eating and discussing more, they take their important essentials and together, they step out of the Black Ranger's apartment and start their path to the Headquarters.

Sojiro made his way to his father's restaurant and he saw the old man working his magic until he saw the Yellow Ranger come in. "Sojiro! Welcome, I do hope you're hungry!" he said while the half-Human/half-Argonite took a seat. "I kinda am, oyaji. It's been like months since K'hysh left Time Force and now...," he stopped when he heard what had happened to her and he wanted to get his mind off of it. Tetsujiro, who was part of the Silver Guardians, heard about what had happened to K'hysh, understood where he was coming from and he couldn't help but feel sorrow for the former Red Ranger's fate but he smiled.
"Hey, she wouldn't like it if she saw you moping like that, would she? You need to keep your head up."
Sojiro looked at Tetsujiro and took a deep breath, "Well, no. But still, though, it hurts when I think about it. She was the glue to the team, and for her to just- God, oyaji. I really don't know what to do," he lamented.
"The only thing you can do is to keep moving forward. With or without a leader, the fight is still going on and we won't stop until end it," Tetsujiro said, refusing to let Sojiro think about "that day".
The Yellow Ranger just remained silent as the old man finished his work and served the customers, "Don't worry son. As I said before, keep your head up and try to embrace what's going to happen in the future. You're in Time Force, I didn't watch you just to see you break down," the man continued while Sojiro continued with the silence.
"Just keep fighting okay? Regardless if you lose your teammates, you have to keep fighting. Now, would you like my famous Habanero Dragon Roll?"
Sojiro looked at his father and he nodded, "Y-yeah," he finally said.

Katie sighed, standing ready. "I won't claim to know what you're going through," she said. "I haven't ever lost someone I love. I've seen it, and i know the pain and the hole it leaves in your chest." She stood ready, waiting for Kari's first attack.

Tan walked up to Jen's door, knocking and stepping back. The door opened, the young man walking in. "Commander? You wished to see me?" he asked.
"Cadet Kamiya. Yes," Jen said, motioning for the other man to come in. "Please, sit. I need to discuss something with you." She watched as Tan crossed the room, sitting in the chair across fro her at the desk.
"What is it, Commander?" Tan asked.
"We've gotten a report that the ship that attacked the Lunar Colony almost a year ago has returned. It's making its way to Earth from behind Saturn, and it'll be here within the next few hours. I plan to alert my Rangers in a moment and have them join us, but I needed to speak to you first."
"About?" Tan asked, not liking where this was going. "Commander, am I in some sort of trouble?"
"No. No, you aren't, Tanjiro," Jen said. "I've been watching all of our new Cadets and trying to find a proper fit with the Rangers. I've tested over a dozen candidates in scenarios using old combat data from the war with Nausis, inserting them into the footage, and most times I've ended up getting the Rangers killed or Nausis wins in some way. There's only been one person to prove effective. That's you."
Tan blinked. "I'm--huh? Commander, are you asking me to take over Red Ranger?" he asked. "Asking me to take the spot of a well respected and still mourned woman? Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"Yes," Jen said. "It's the only option that works. Captain Walker, Captain Kendall, Trip...none of them wanted the spot. I need someone that can help to get the job done."
Tan sighed, looking at his hands and clenching his fists. He really wanted ot say no, not eager at all to take the spot, but he knew the Commander could be persistant. "Alright...I'll do it," he said softly. "I don't like it, but I'll do it."
Jen nodded, setting the Delta Brace on the desk and sliding it to Tan. "In the field, you'll have to learn from the others. Alluka, Cody, Sojiro, and Kari will help you. Some probably more then others, but they'll still help." She reached over, tapping the communications line to the other four Delta Braces. "Rangers. Please report to my office. Something's come up, and I need you all in the fight once again."

Alluka wonders how she and Cody are going to handle this one since they have a child accompany them to the facility. Normally when it comes to scheduled tours, it takes all day to distract people with the wonders of this place. Other days it just visitations. In this case, she goes along with Cody's cover up that he's simply giving a tour to his cousin's son before his parents will pick him up for later.
Just when she and Cody are going to give Rolo a quick tour, their morphers beep, causing them to share a sigh.
"What's going on?" Rolo asks.
Alluka looks pained for a second. She frowns looking back before kneeling in front of Rolo again. "The tour will have to wait. We have an emergency meeting with our boss. Fret not, we will continue the tour after we return."
"But..." The Black Ranger sees the conflicted expression formed in the boy, something that reminds her of her youngest sister whenever she feels scared to see her go. Before she responds, she hears Cody speaking up.
“I can take you to my room.” Cody opens up with a suggestion, prompting his nephew and Alluka to look at him. “Alluka, I’ll catch up with you soon. Okay?”
Alluka can tell what Cody is feeling at moment. She begins to figure out their next conversation will be anything but smooth sailing. So she nods, though reluctantly. “Are you certain? I may have to inform the Commander you will be running late.”
“It won’t be long. We’re going to chat about the situation. Just to be sure.”
Pursing her lips, Alluka moves up in front of Cody and gives him a quick kiss on the lips. “Understandable.” She nods slowly, shifting her focus to Rolo. “I will see you soon, Rolo.”
“I hope so. Good luck Ms. Makiya.” Rolo replies sadly as he takes out his hand to shake with Alluka’s. He lets go, and takes Cody’s hand and start following him away.
Alluka watches them go, letting out a heavy sigh before she heads inside the elevator. From Rolo entering her life to the Commander informing to return to work, everything feels like a whirlwind. It may be a lot but there is hope. 'How do we end up like this?' She thinks with a soft laugh.
Once the Black Ranger arrives at the office, she sees Commander Scotts and a familiar face she hasn't seen in a while. "Hello, Commander. I have arrived." She announces before looking at Tanjiro with a friendly smile. "Hello, Tanjiro. It is nice to see you. What brings you here?"

Kari shook her head as the emotions started coming to the surface again. A tear rolled down her cheek and she threw a punch. "I hate this." She cried as the commander's voice came over the come system. She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Thank for trying Katie." She said with a slight shrug.

Once Cody leads Rolo to his room, he allows him to settle on to his desk while he takes out his phone to message to one of his friends. He never would have thought his nephew, the extension of his older brother Ephraim, will run to him. Even after his bout with amnesia, there is a small part of him that hasn’t forgotten one person and it’s this boy. His birthday wish becomes true.
However, the current dilemma is figuring out the living arrangements since Rolo has ran away earlier. Given his occupation, it won’t be simple to leave him here when he goes for an extended amount of time. At least he can do is contact one of his friends to look after Rolo while he’s at it.
“Do you really have to go, Uncle Corduroy? We just met again.”
Cody takes a deep breath, clutching his phone tighter for frustration. “I know.” He looks to the clock on top of his entrance, face scrunches in disappointment. “I wish we have more time.”
“I’m sorry I give you a hard time. I shouldn't run away like that.” Rolo asks softly after a minute. Cody whips his head in disbelief, and immediately went over to him, kneeling with his good knee.
“It’s not your fault, Kid. It’s just… Things happen. I do want to get to know you properly. I thought we got a good thing going.” Cody gives his nephew a reassured smile. After some thought, he makes an offer. “Tell you what, while you stay with one of my friends, we can video chat like everyday. There are ways for us to communicate from afar. Then when I’m home, we can spend time together. Just us, and Alluka if you don’t mind.”
“Hmm… I guess.” Rolo shrugs like it isn’t a big deal, his smile forms into a childish smirk. "Just kidding, I don't mind at all."
Cody smiles and nods his head. He gets up gingerly, holding on to his desk since his knee still feeling the effects from the freak accident many missions ago. “My friend will pick you soon. Don’t worry, I’ll come back for you soon, Kid.” He tells him before he turns away, leaves his room, and goes to the Commander’s office. Little does the Blue Ranger know, his nephew will do something silly that will leave no regrets.

Once the Black Ranger arrives at the office, she sees Commander Scotts and a familiar face she hasn't seen in a while. "Hello, Commander. I have arrived." She announces before looking at Tanjiro with a friendly smile. "Hello, Tanjiro. It is nice to see you. What brings you here?"
Tanjiro looked over at Alluka. "Hi, Alluka."
Jen looked at Alluka and gave a small smile. "The reason Tanjiro's here will be discussed once everyone arrives," she said. "I promise, it'll make sense soon."

Hearing his Delta Brace, Sojiro told his father that he needed to go, and Tetsujiro nodded. The Yellow Ranger flew his way back to Time Force and made his way to the office where Jen was waiting and he saw the newcomer, Tanjiro standing before him, "Ah, Tanjiro. Good to see you here with us," he said before turning to Jen, "Sojiro, reporting for duty."

"Thanks again." Kari said to Katie with a small forced smile, she then turned and made her way to the commander's office. She didn't bother stopping to pull her uniform on, she just wore her dark pink sports bra, a pair of leggings, and her sneakers. Her hair was pulled back tightly out of her face. Entering the office, she saw the boy known as Tanjiro. Giving him a slight nod, she stepped to the side of the room and folded her arms. "What's up commander?" She asked.
