Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

Tan looked at Cody and nodded. "She'll tell you guys," he said with a bit of a smile.

Jen looked at Kari as she walked in, sighing to herself. She could understand the Pink Ranger's change in demeanor and coldness, having experianced the same heartbreak thirty years before. "Over the last eleven months, we've been scanning the galaxy and Ranger-allied planets for the ship that attacked the Lunar Colonies," she said. "We got a hit." She tapped her console, the massive ship appearing in hologram in the center of the room. "We don't know the name, but the ship is massive. It's on it's way here from near Saturn. It'll reach the Moon in less then two hours, and from there, a straight shot to Earth and Silver Hills."

She brought up a screen, an overlay popping up on the ship. "The three pronged weapons at the base and upper sides are multipurpose. Weapons that we've seen the damage they can do, and flight. Researching the ship has shown they've stripped planets of materials, turning hte planets to dust. Miranoi was the first affected. We don't know what they need the resources for, but I figure it isn't something warm and fuzzy."

Taking hte ship down, the former Pink Ranger stood from her desk, making this now a formal meeting. "The reason the four of you were called in is for two reasons. One, the ship. I know what you guys are thinking. I've thought it oo. They're the ones responsible for K'hysh's disappearance. I refuse to say "death" because I have hope she's still out there, hopefully on that ship. But the four of you cannot take down this new enemy on your own." She sighed, knowing what she was about to say was going to cause four very different reactions. She took a deep breath, deciding to rip the bandage off and gauge the reactions.

"The second reason, and the reason Cadet Kamiya is here, is that I've appointed him as Delta Squad's new Red Ranger."

Cody knows there’s going to be mixed reactions when it comes to Tan’s new role as the Red Ranger, and he isn’t wrong after seeing Kari’s cold reaction. When K’hysh is chosen as Red, the reception grows cold. With Tan, it’s seemingly the same but it's only them four. Like K’hysh and himself, the last thing he doesn’t want is for Tan to feel ostracized. So the Blue Ranger went over to Tan and gives him a handshake. “I know the circumstances is complicated, but I am grateful to have you as part of the team, Tan. I know you’ll do great as Red.” He says proudly to the new Red Ranger.

“I see.” Alluka knows someone succeeding K’hysh as the Red Ranger is bound to happen. She does make the promise to treat the Red Ranger like Tanjiro as one of the team, and that is the promise she’ll keep regardless.  The Black Ranger briefly looks in Kari’s direction disapprovingly before she joins Cody in congratulating Tanjiro. "Welcome to the team, Tanjiro. I know K’hysh will be proud of you for becoming the Red Ranger." She says proudly as she does the traditional handshake to the new Red Ranger as well. "I will do my best to guide you with everything you need to know."

"Let's start by calling me Kari, not Ms. Thompson." Kari said looking to the red ranger. "Secondly, I made a promise to the love of my life that I would help you and get you into shape as her replacement." She said turning to face him fully. "Third, we are a team now. I know how that works. I never indicated I wouldn't think plans through to bring these bastards down. For K'hysh." She said as a tear rolled and dropped from her cheek. "Sorry." She said taking a deep breath and getting herself under control.

Alluka can only sigh as she watches Kari being blunt. Out of the four, Kari takes K'hysh's disappearance the hardest. For months, she does her best to be there for her, but unfortunately it becomes nonexistent. Deciding to shift gears, the Black Ranger glances at Commander Scotts. "Commander, what can we do when we face the Squadron?"

Cody understands Kari's pursuit of revenge despite his concerns for her well-being. Even if they'll defeat the enemy front, he isn't sure this will bring some closure for everyone. If anything happens to Alluka and Rolo, then he might as well end up like Kari. 'This is going to be a pleasant time. I know Rolo will be safe from the dangers coming up.' He thinks.

"Finally, someone I can punch." Kari said giving the commander a nod before exiting the office. She then found herself a few minutes later walking into the courtyard to face off with the new threat. "I don't know if you have read any recent history lady, but the last bitch that showed up making demands didn't fair so well." She said folding her arms while waiting for her team to arrive.

Below, Arianas and her forces appeared in the courtyard. The Queen looked around, a devilish smirk on her face. "Time Force Command! I'm giving you one chance to surrender. Bend the knee and be folded into the Epislon Battalion, and you'll serve my empire. Failure to comply will result in your deaths, and I'd like to avoid the bloodshed," she said. "What say you!?"

Jen looked out of the window and down to the courtyard. "Rangers. Give her our answer."

"Like hell, we would! Delta Squad Power Up!" Sojiro said, morphing into the Yellow Ranger. "Tanjiro, you're not gonna regret this, trust us!"

Tan looked at the others and down to his own Morpher. "Ok..." he said. "Delta Squad, Power up!" He hit the morpher, suit forming around him. "Whoa."

Arianas laughed, shaking her head. "Fine. So you've got some fancy suits. Big deal," she said. "Aquias."

The trident-wielding woman stepped forward, chuckling as she opened her mouth and screamed, a flood of water pouring out of her mouth. From the water, creatures grew and formed, claws and teeth slashing and gnashing in the sunlight. "Do you like my Dead Waters, Rangers?" she asked, laughing as she held her Trident forward. "Kill them!"

Tan reached down, fingers wrapping around his Delta Dualer. "Ok. I guess this is it," he said. "Let's do it." He took off, rushing forward and blasing at the Dead Waters, hopign to get a few lucky shots in.
