When Kari saw the others break away, she sighed and turned to head back for the medical lab. She was genuinely curious as to what she would see once inside, and as the doors opened she was left slightly speechless. For all the tech to be "old" it was so high tech for the time period. "This is actually amazing." She said looking around at all the counters, beds, and equipment used here. "Wow." She said shaking her head in shock.

As the Rangers split to observe the lab, medical center, and training rooms, Wes returned to his office, sending notes to the three locations to send the Rangers to him when they were ready. He sat behind his desk, bringing up safe houses for the Guardians, selecting one that would be big enough for the five Rangers and Rolo. He sent a second message to get the house prepared, having a car brought up for the Rangers to use.
"Jen, I hope this helps them," he said, leaning back in his seat.
It would take time for the Rangers to get used to 2029 and not be jumping throughout Time itself like their last adventure, but the former Red Ranger was sure he could help them all adjust.

It's been a week since the Rangers crashed in 2029, the five Rangers and Rolo slowly adapting to the new time. Having been given a safehouse to use, the Rangers each had their own room, a group kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and even entertainment to keep them busy when not in training or fighting. When not adjusting, Wes had done his best to show everyone around, each Ranger finding a place in Silver Hills that they liked. Tan, still coming to terms with being in charge, frequented the gym, working out as much as he could in order to keep his mind occupied.
"It's been a week. The Battalion should have attacked by now. We can't just keep sitting on our hands," he said. He made his way "home", a word that still felt foriegn to him, and up to his room. He gathered clothes and went to one of hte second floor bathrooms, showering before dressing again and making his way downstairs. "I don't like this.

It's been a week since the trio of Alluka, Cody, and Rolo land in the year of 2029 with their friends. Having a new safehouse to settle in, they work with arrangements for themselves and for Rolo. Currently they're at the kitchen island eating breakfast. Rolo and Alluka sit in two of the bar stools and Cody passes one plate of cinnamon buttered toasts with bananas to Rolo and one plate of buckwheat porridge with berries to Alluka.
"This stinks. Why do I have to go to school? You guys are gonna have fun crime fighting and I'm gonna stay in the sidelines." Rolo complains, taking a bite of his toast.
"Crime fighting was not always fun. There were many situations we faced that were not very pleasant to forget. I mean, in this particular instance we all deal with the brunt of trauma after trauma, but that was a one-in-a-million chance, and will not happen. People with all sorts of jobs get into scary situations because that is what life is." Alluka explains, taking a spoonful of her breakfast.
"Doesn't explain why I have to go to school. I can help too, you know." Rolo pouts.
Cody brings his own oatmeal and sits next to Alluka. “Rolo, I know you can – by going to school. You can help us later.”
“Not helping, Uncle Corduroy.” Rolo crosses his arms, glaring at his uncle, “There won’t be a school if we don’t find a way to return to our year.”
Cody sighs softly, as he reaches and pokes at his nephew’s curls, pushing it away from his eyes. “We just want you to be safe. Villains often combat heroes by going after the people they love. If you stay with us all day, we’ll be too worried about you to watch our own backs. Your safety is number one.” He continues. “By going to the school Wes arranges for you, you won’t be alone. You have everyone there to keep you safe until we pick you up. You never know what Epsilon Battalion might do to you if they discover our plans.”
Rolo seems to be considering this. “So what you’re saying is that the problem isn’t that I’m in the sidelines, but that I’d be a good target to hurt you guys?”
“That’s right.”
Rolo shrugs, eating the bananas. “I guess that’s fair.” He turns back to his toasts in front of him, munching them.
Alluka is half-done with her meal. "While you cannot help us in way, you can provide input for us by explaining the lessons you learn from school. You will be able to use the library and computers there.”
“So long as you don’t get into trouble.” Cody injects quickly.
Alluka nods in agreement. “The point is, Rolo, you can think of more places to us to search in your front. Do not forget all the things you have learned.”
"Oh okay. That can work too, Alluka." Rolo accepts, pushing aside his emptied plate.
Once their breakfast is finished, Rolo takes his backpack and lunch pail and waves goodbye to Alluka as he leaves. Before Cody can follow suit, he tells his girlfriend he will be right back and he needs to make sure the arrangements has been secured. Once Alluka reassures him, they have a quick but passionate kiss before Cody takes his leave with his nephew.

She missed home, her mom, and even her lab more and more each day. K'hysh being the main subject running through her head every day. "We will find you babe." Sojiro was seen outside of the safehouse as he looked at the beautiful view of Silver Hills. Since he crashed in 2029 along with the Rangers, he had been trying to adjust to the new time period as he sipped some coffee with cream and sugar. Taking a deep breath, he thought about what was happening back at home and most importantly, his father.

Alluka sighs softly, thinking about how her sisters. Normally she will talk to them through the WaveRunner but since the ship is under reconstruction, she has no idea what became of them. Even though she appreciates her boyfriend's nephew's presence, she does feel a pang of jealously that he's the only relative of a Ranger who is able to come along with the team. At the same time, she doesn't have the heart to blame him. He doesn't have anyone to contact other than his uncle.
Opening her eyes, the Black Ranger turns her head around to see Tanjiro entering downstairs. Because he's new to the leadership, she makes sure to guide him in the right direction until he's confident enough to handle this role himself. "Good morning, Tanjiro. How are you?" Alluka greets her Red teammate.

Aiko walked into hte lab, two cups of coffee in hand. She walked over and set one in front of Kari. "You're always here," she said with a small smile. "Anything I can help you with, hon?"

Alluka hums in understanding. "It does seemed suspicious. After that day, there is little to no activity from their front. Unless we know where they are hiding or even making their next move, there is nothing else we can do for now."

After waving farewell to his nephew at the private school front gate, Cody heads to the limousine to go in. It is easier getting to the vehicle than he expects, and though he hasn't taken the driver's test for this time, it's at least provide protection for Rolo until he obtains it or even allowed to use his Time Slider.
Unlike most of his friends, the Blue Ranger doesn't have any relatives to miss back home because he has Rolo with him and the rest are... all but gone. He doesn’t miss Girth much since he's his therapist. Overall, he handles the new adjustment by stride. He does feel bad for his friends though so he tries to cheer them up as he can.
Once Cody is dropped off on the sidewalk, he then travels to the safehouse where he spots Soujiro outside. "Hey, Soujiro." He greets his Yellow teammate.

Sojiro turned around to see Cody approaching him and he lets out a soft sigh, "Oh, hey, Code. Sorry, I just thought I need some fresh air," he said, gripping onto his mug.

"I definitely get that." Cody agrees with a tilt of his head. With his nephew in school, it gives the Blue Ranger an chance to have some free time before the afternoon. Then he goes around to sit next to Soujiro. "Are you still thinking about last week?"

"You're telling me. With Rolo returning to my life, I haven't gotten a chance to take everything in. I may be his uncle, but I'm also his only relative left." Cody agrees with a soft sigh. "Luckily, I dropped him off to school to give him some sense of normalcy. Gives me the chance to check on you guys."

I was in and out of foster care until I was eighteen, and afterward I just....stumbled through until I entered Time Force at twenty-four. I was only a rookie when you five first went against Nausis and brought her down."
