^I'm sure I read an interview featuring a Sentai producer who said they try not to have too many golds/silvers because having too many would make the colours less special... does anyone else remember that? I think it was around Goseiger/Gokaiger
It would be nice to having a sixth that isn't gold or silver but it seems like this series is perfectly set up to have at least one of them with the theme being gems

We've only had a handful of non-Gold/Silver Sixth Rangers this century. TimeFire/Quantum Time Force, Shurikenger/Green Samurai Ninja Storm, AbareKiller/White Dino Thunder, DekaBreak/Omega SPD, ToQ 6go, and Ryu Commander. That's about it. Zyuoh The World was technically a Black Ranger. But had Gold & Silver Modes.

I watched episode 2, and, I liked it. It's very fast-paced. I like the conflict of Juru, becoming leader, and he still being insecure, but I don't like he come with the whole ideas yet(in this case, a clone for Sena). I like the debut of Sky Mage and Land Mage. And I really love Sena running and morphing, to destroy the monster with rugby ball. Splendid. I could watch Sena running all the day. Well, the whole episode looked like an episode of '80s Sentai: the monster design with a rugby ball as a head, and the suit, it's just a simple black leotard with few details. Very cheap, like Showa-era. And the whole rugby game with the by-standers, was insane. Like a crossing of stupid and epic. I loved it. I like the opening, not for the song, that I think it's OK, but I like to watch Sena's legs and butt....I mean back, Sena's back.  |

Toei needs to give the Gold and Silver a break (for like couple or 3 Sentai series) and give us a 6th White Ranger (aside from the two core White Rangers we had recently a few years ago for Ninninger & Zyuogher). We have yet to have a Bronze and perhaps a full time Brown Ranger (as the 6th Ranger), even though we had our very brief first Brown Ranger by the end of Zyusoulger.

^Preach it, bro! And how about another Purple or Orange Sixth Rangers, too! DekaBreak is definitely a White Ranger due to his primary color. And GekiChopper ISN'T a Sixth. The biggest evidence of that is the fact that the Gokaigers had his key when they arrived on Earth. Proof that Ryu Commander IS a Sixth Ranger! |

Well, Kyuranger have both Gold and Silver Rangers, beyond the fact its sixth is Violet. SO, they didn't give us a break. And I start to believe, they gonna give us more than six Rangers per season. The whole "only six Rangers" times are over.
TQGer could be the last season with only six, beyond the fact TQ7go is from an special, or movie, the rest of the seasons show more Rangers than six. Ninninger, have more Reds, for Grandpa, and Takaharu and Fuuka's dad, Zyuohger have ZyuohBird, KyuRanger had, well 12 Rangers, LuPat had seven, and Ryusoulger had Ryusoul Brown, aside Gaisoulg passing to the side of good, and he is an Extra Hero. And also, they were the Masters (Red, Pink, Blue, Black, Green). I think Toei smelled success after Kyoryuger and its many Rangers, and TQGer with its changing-colors gimmick didn't work, I guess the most reasonable is having more color per season. I guess Ryusoul Brown could be a test for the audiences, to see if the color is accepted. Like NinninGreen, if a Green female Ranger could exist.
So, I have to wait. I don't believe Silver gonna be the only Ranger appearing in the future of Kiramager....

Only for Toqger & Ninninger. The rest are in canon. Truthfully, I'd welcome more movie rangers.

It's safe they gonna appear. I'm talking about Extra Rangers. That's why I said the days of "only six Rangers per team" are over. I'm pretty sure we gonna have seven or eight rangers this season. And I'm also pretty sure the days of "final team with Five Rangers", like AbaRanger, GekiRanger or Go-busters are over. I don't think they gonna have five Rangers at the end of the season anymore. |
