Ya I enjoyed it too. It's interesting to see the state of earth and federation after the whole romulans stuff. I did like the dreams Picard had with data. Curious to learn what up with others from tng too in time. Also the reveal of dahj/soji ties interesting. And what is up with the Romulans with borg...... I get the idea they 'borrowed' the idea of Romulans and Borg interacting from the Trek novels where Kirk returns to life.

thanks for the titles zarius. As for not being cannon that is probably helpful to the current producers. As if they read or know of comics/books that are not official standing cannon they could take elements from they think will work for there story.

I didn't think the de-aging CGI effects would work for Brent Spiner, but they somehow did. The Starfleet uniforms that Data and Picard were wearing did seem a bit off though.

I don't see why you think that. They where suits from different eras of tng.

Well episode 2 was pretty interesting. I liked learning more on soji, and the Romulans doing what ever they doing with the big cube. Same with Picard trying to piece things together and we meet some of the other new characters. And woah the twist at end with learning there is another secret Romulan group and they are secretly taking over starfleet.

Caught episode five...good god it was horrible. It was like a rehash of a Firefly episode with a lot of black humour. One of the Borg kids from Voyager is tortured and mutilated, Seven of Nine is forced to kill him, then she takes revenge and her fate is left ambiguous.

i didnt think it was a bad episode. Though i was shocked at icheb being killed off. But it was fun learning he did become a starfleet member once they got back to earth. Also learning more on seven was nice too and what she been up to since she came back to alpha sector. But the big shock was the doctor killing maddox and looks to be involved with the plot with the romulans.
