I agree there I do hate the endless relaunch of titles. Same for gimmick covers some times. Heck for me I almost always just go with a cover. Then the occasional blank cover so when I go to cons to get an original sketch done. But hey as long as the publishers believe the company has value and is a profit. I will still buy and read and collect. And I myself am not in denial. I do get the firing and layoffs and other issues the companies all have. I just don't think the big boys in marvel and DC will just up and close down comics side of things any time soon. The smaller companies like a boom sure more likely. But I don't expect comics to go any time soon.

Wow, the preview for Green Arrow#50 triggered some people. Nice job breaking Dinah/Ollie Didio. The beginning of the story felt like the writers were pretty pissed off themselves. I would be too if I were told my book was axed three issues into my run.
Doomsday Clock comes out of hibernation yet again for the long-delayed issue 9, so we'll see what's up with that and if anyone still cares since DC are setting up Year of the Villain.
Looking forward to Morrison's GL, Young Justice, and Amazing Spider-Man.HU

People suspect Jason Aaron is leaving Thor after War of the Realms finishes up after a tweet www.newsarama.com/44177-is-jason-arron-leaving-thor-after-war-of-the-realms.htmlWhile it's definitely possible since WotR feels like a finale to the Malekith stuff from the book I don't really think this'll be the end of the run since we still need some conclusion on King Thor stuff. Edit: ok yeah Jason Aaron is leaving Thor. Honestly I care more for Doomsday Clock than I do The Year of the Villains. I mean it's just 3 different stories that have nothing to do with each other. I mean Leviathan looks alright even if it just feels like Bendis retreading Hydra, I don't care for Knightfall 3.0 over in Batman, & Justice League spent too much damn time wanking Lex & friends that I gave up on Justice League.

Well the wait is finally over & Doomsday Clock #9 is finally out. Most of the issue is primarily The Justice League, Justice League Dark, The Outsiders, Some Titans, Metal Men, Doom Patrol, 4 of the 6 Green Lanterns of Earth, Shazam Family, Team Superman, L.A.W. with a handful of other heroes go on to take on Doctor Manhattan (& fail) as the rest of the world goes to hell with Superman in a coma & the country turning against him, Batman failing to contact the other heroes thanks to Ozymandias & Wonder Woman returning from her supposed exile only to end up fighting Black Adam's Army of metas with all the A & B hitters out for the count (I mean the Teen Titans suck now & Young Justice probably couldn't take on that) All the while Lex reveals that he's aware of the Universal tampering after sending Lois the Film reel of the JSA & even asking about Wally West & Doctor Manhattan ultimatly confused at the situation due to Ozy's attack on Moscow.
We get a handful of good & bad things present in this book given the One year time skip The Good: Arthur regained his memory & is with Mera. Ric is dead & Dick Grayson is back as Nightwing Batgirl & Red Hood apparently returned to their original outfits Ollie & Dinah are together Katana is with the Outsiders
The Bad Where the Hell are Simon & Kyle? I mean ok you probably want to keep some Lanterns on Earth in order to keep it safe (though really why bring Jessica along rather than the more experienced Kyle?) Wally's & Booster's fates are still uncertain probably out of respect for not spoiling Heroes in Crisis......but fuck that event in all it's holes. We get a bombshell in the form of a retcon to Firestorm's origins. Turns out the Superman Theory is fact as the accident that created Firestorm was all on purpose to create a government weapon....Oof this book really hates Firestorm.
Overall good issue but let's pray to god we don't get anymore delays we are 3 issues away from being done with this so lets finish the damn thing.

Bendis dropped a bombshell in Young Justice...Connor became a dad while trapped on Gemworld! Bendis will litter the globe with Supermen by his era's end.
Nice to see Ollie/Dinah are still together one year on...maybe Green Arrow#50 is a bait-and-switch and concludes on an upbeat note. I'll find out later.
In Batman, The Question interrogates a dream version of Selina and gets her to admit she lied in her farewell note to Bruce. Perhaps this will now lead to Bruce thinking Selina was a wilful part of Bane's conspiracy? Maybe that's what Bane wants him to think?
Immortal Hulk reunites Bruce with Betty and Doc Samson. Betty is hurt over her father's recent murder as well as Bruce faking his death (she worried more about him than her own father) and is emotionally restrained when they meet, but does give Bruce a kiss and a hug when they reunite. Betty wants to give Bruce a piece of her mind when he starts talking about Rick's death but she's too in love with his vulnerable milksop persona to muster the effort. She apologises to him and is about to say something more when she's shot in the head. It's implied afterwards that she still has her Red She-Hulk powers.

I read some spoilers from Green Arrow#50 (though I haven't seen the full issue yet).
it's less of a break-up between Ollie and Dinah, more of a "see you later". Dinah lets Ollie go, tells him he needs to run to stay a step ahead of her bosses, and she hopes they reunite (and according to Doomsday Clock#9, they do) She also is beginning to remember their marriage from pre-flashpoint days and she wants to build towards that life again.

Given Connor is half-kryptonian will his kid even inherit his powers? Like at some point the DNA gotta delude.
I really don't blame Betty for caring more about Bruce than Ross because....well let's face it he's an asshole. 3rd time he's died & I doubt it'll be the last of him.

Some are hoping the change will make Peter a bit more competant. I can't blame them for wanting that, the strip makes him look like a putz sometimes. It took his wife to bail both him and Luke Cage out in the recent arc.
