neat i hope its good.I know with chip off spectacular now, and a new writer coming in. Is spectacular ending to make way for this friendly series. As spectacular was handling the less big event stuff and all that.

Ah OK I was just curious I would hope spec lasts a little longer. At least let the new creative team get 10 to 12 issues before it ends or what not. But if spec and friendly are going on top of amazing I just think there is just stretching Peter books. As amazing main book, spec was the more Peter book what would friendly be.

Scarlet Spider#25 may just be a candidate for the worst issue of 2018.
Mephisto had meddled with people's memories to make them think Ben had not given a young girl called Abigail the cure for her degenerative disease, so they all attacked him and eventually killed him. Mephisto taunts him, Ben hits him with a right hook. Mephisto is at first surprised, then a realisation dawns on him. After telling Ben he is new to this game and has no idea what his choice will be, he takes his leave. We learn Ben's body had been possessed by Abigail, who has now become more like an angel, she restores Ben to life as Mephisto had meddled with the natural order and it was not his time. Ben pleads with her not to resurrect him, as his soul will shatter and he will be damned to a life of evil...but it's too late. Ben is restored. A robot double of Mysterio's daughter attacks him and Ben destroys her. This act of self defence and the positive vibes he gets from it convinces Ben that being evil has it's benefits and he goes to work for the Diogenes Initiative, attacking Kaine in his home and stabbing him through the chest and telling him to get out of Vegas. The series ends with Ben standing on a rooftop laughing wickedly
Probably the most depressing thing PAD has written since the end of his Hulk run. This had to have been editorially mandated. My theory is they want Ben to be this way for the Spidergeddon event (which is tying up plot elements from Clone Conspiracy) plus, in the event they ever bother undoing One More Day, you don't want a clone of your top hero overcoming Mephisto before Peter can have a chance to.
What say you?
