Peter and MJ being downgraded to Luke and Leia has caused quite a stir, even IGN are reporting on it. At least their article makes it clear they don't like Felicia's chances as a long-term interest going forward.
But sadly this is what Marvel want, outrage dollars and engaged hate readers.

I think folks are getting bent over nothing. We all know Peter isn't telling cat the truth about mj. Just like mj and Paul won't last. This is just the usual soap opera drama with Pete love life. Just like ya Pete and cat won't last to long. As she a free spirit and will go to one of her many gf and bf and all that. I am sure some new story will have Peter and mj as a couple again. This is marvel just creating drama to get shock and awe.

Looks like there's going to be a big cosmic reset. Morlun is stabbed by that weird dagger accidentally by Silk and it releases the essence of every Spider he ever 'killed' in the original Spider-Verse story, the liberated totems begin "reweaving" the web of life and destiny, or so Anya believes, but Shathra knows better and says the action has doomed them all

Dan's primarily just doing Spider-Verse stuff now right? Like I doubt it's impactful towards main Spidey stuff like how Spider-Geddon just didn't effect the Spencer run but hey it's there for the Spider-Verse folk

Like I doubt it's impactful towards main Spidey stuff like how Spider-Geddon just didn't effect the Spencer run but hey it's there for the Spider-Verse folk The Spider-Verse story ends next month, Slott is moving away from it afterwards, but the issue is supposed to feature a massive development for the Spider-Man side of the Marvel Universe that he went back and forth with editors and even the top people at Marvel to get approved. Might be his patented brand of hype, but he seems convinced he'll sign copies of this issue 'for life' at conventions |

Amazing Spider-Man#21
We learn that a year and six months ago, Ben Rabin, the mathematician who summoned Wayeb back during Brand New Day, has escaped from prison, he targets Peter, who he dubs the 'Sun-Blooded Clown Priest' who's death will bring about the end of days. Rabin grabs MJ and she sees a vision of him flooding the world with blood. Peter battles Rabin but he eventually gives him the mark of vengeance and sacrifice, the mark of sacrifice then transfers itself over to MJ
