Yah as much as I like the occasional cosmic or magical story. I like when spidey is more grounded and street base and science stuff. As that is where spidey excels.

Taylor towing the company line "my books all sold out, people have come around to Jon being aged". All bulls*it. Z You'd be depressed if you knew how much that statement is true. I saw Bleeding cool's article for #5 sales & it was #2 that week. & Twitter & Tumblr have had the wool pulled over their eyes regarding this crap.

Harley and Ivy have split up to 'find themselves', in reality it's just a hook to launch Ivy's ongoing.
Action Comics continues to go down the predictable route I was afraid of, a lot of the drama towards the end could be well avoided if Clark wasn't stubborn and Midnighter wasn't so pissed off with him over it. A lot of characters are acting either unbearably naïve, reckless, or out-of-character to justify this saga.

The main Action Comics might not be doing it for me (nothing spiteful or anything) but the Martian Manhunter back up is sure fun. Honestly feels like a Pre-New 52 story & actually what I want out of MM. J'ohnn deals with the Human Flame while trying to piece together who stole an idol from a museum before running into a girl nicknaming herself "Zook" after his old alien sidekick.
Flash was fun this week. Wally deals with Eclipso stuff on Gemworld with JLD all the while The West twins go about their school life. Irey still has powers but Jai doesn't & has decided to be a snitch on her when Irey does something "shady". Also Irey is friends with Maxine Baker Animal Man's daughter.
Robin this week see's Damian get his big Shonen hero moment after Alfred's spirit gives him a pep talk & is able to rally the other contestants to help take down the Lazurus monster before getting into a fight with Lady Lazarus (who apparently teleports him to Ra's past before he became the demon.
Deathstroke Inc. Mostly dissects Dinah's relationship with Slade given her shakey past with him before ultimately deciding to team up to take down T.R.U.S.T. & what a shocker the Organization turns out to be bad as it's head is the New Libra & gets Prometheus to teleport the two into the Phantom Zone by the Crooked House.

Timeless
The story begins with Kang hunting in the past, accompanied by Doctor Petrov, who has been brought in to chronicle Kang's experience. Discovering something is amiss, Kang and Petrov travel to the Oracle Base, where they learn a lost pirated timeline is trying to reintegrate with the current linear one.
Kang observes the current state of the linear timeline and sees visions of a team of new Young Avengers, Doyle Dormamu taking overthrowing his father with the twilight sword, the return of Jack of Hearts, the debut of the new Iron Fist, the Punisher's new mission etc
Then he begins to observe events still to come in the future, the moon will be splintered during the Reckoning War, Steve Rogers will be shot by the Winter Soldier, Tony becomes a God, there will be another new Spider-Man (implied from the red hair to be Mary Jane, but it could well also be an adult pre-OMD Annie/Mayday as teased at the end of Spencer's run) and a new female Black Panther (Ororo), and Ben Reilly will keep his current suit and move to Hollywood
Hell, I'll go one better, the Red-Haired Spider and White-Haird Panther are probably Felicia and MJ cosplaying from the MJ/Black Cat one-shot tying into Beyond next month, as Jed McKay also writes that one
Kang and Petrov travel to the pirate timeline to find the mastermind behind it, it's Doctor Doom, but this version of Doom is Reed Richards. who has replaced his eyes with the reality and time infinity stones. Kang and Richards battle, but Doctor Petrov kills Reed. After Kang returns Petrov to his timeline, he looks over his notes, and finds a strange symbol...the symbol of Miracleman

So, um, yeah, Human Target this week
Guy Gardner stalks his former sweetheart Ice, uses his power ring to beat up Chris Chance, then allows Chris to get free shots back at him when Hal arrives and tells him to, and Guy is deeply afraid of Hal when he intervenes.

Checked out Timeless & I'm getting real Doomsday Clock vibes from the ending about Miracle Man for Judgement Day. You know Mainstream Comic company utilizing an Alan Moore character in their back lot for an Apocalyptic named Event? I mean it's probably going to be different from DdC in that Miracleman isn't going to be some "reason for the Universe being shit" like Doctor Manhattan was but I don't know.
I know Marvel owns the guy but it still feels very weird for anyone to look into who Miracleman is considering how it was Alan's more....Adult work compared to Watchmen to integrate in the universe proper.
