Ultimately this or other changes will probably not matter cone when ever is the next company wide reboot. And who ever is in charge if x character will change things to there liking.

People need to get off this "reboot will change everything" bender. It didn't really happen after Death Metal. And they are NOT walking back on a development like this, it would be very bad optics to say this is just a phase Jon is going through in current year. DC would rather pretend this sort of crowd buy the comics than convince them to never buy the comic. |

Batman '89#3Harvey dreams of a successful rescue, but as the preview spoiled, it's just a fantasy and he is the one dragged from the fire by Drake and Bruce. Having been exposed to sulphuric acid, Harvey comes to, and the public is shocked and frightened at his disfigurement. He's transported to hospital. Bruce is hailed as the hero but he's reluctant to bask in the limelight. He later rendezvous with Selina on a rooftop, their romantic evening is of course marred by intense arguments over Selina's current career path...taking down criminals under the employ of other criminals. Selina reveals she talks to therapists about Bruce, it's perfectly OK because her shrink sees several people who either claim to be Batman or have slept with Batman! Barbra brings Harvey his coin, she's had it repaired and is looking after it since it's a memento of their engagement, but Harvey uses one of her nail files to damage it so he can play his fateful games of toss. He first tosses for his love of Barbra, much to her protests, and it comes up heads...their love is safe, for now. However, as news reaches him of further arson attacks in Gotham, he tosses the coin again for the 'soul of Gotham', and it comes up tails...to hell with Gotham
Batman/Scooby Doo Mysteries#7Alfred and Daphne's butler Jennings know one another and catch up at the manor with Daphne and Scooby as a guest. Batman, Shaggy, Velma and Fred are pre-occupied with a giant Cat in Gotham City. Scooby and Ace are eventually kidnapped. Daphne, Alfred and the gang eventually discover Catman is behind it. Who knows, maybe that's supposed to be the ending anyway... oh i know not all stuff will or will not change. But some things can if x future writers dont want to do those stories or what not. I dont care myself. And i am all for representation for all folks. I just hate when they do it to characters who where not written or show things just to have that flash news story in the press and all. Will it be handle well story wise that is all up to the writers and if the fans like what they are doing.

Nope...I mean, I think I made a comment to someone that Clark could have just dyed his hair at the end or something, but no they just leave that to artistic licence Anyhoo, this week's Amazing Spider-Man Amazing Spider-Man#76 Peter's in a bad way due to the poisoning, MJ and Aunt May are summoned by Ben posing as Peter over the phone. Aunt May is less convinced than MJ that he's Peter, but goes anyway. MJ and Peter lie to May to cover up the real reason he was attacked, saying he got caught up in the U-Foe assault while visiting Doctor Connors. Ben arrives and tells Peter he's not good with asking for things, so claims his 'therapist' (Doctor Kafka), but now he feels compelled to try. Peter gives Ben his blessing to be Spider-Man. When Ben departs, Peter tells MJ he wanted to wait until he was out of earshot and sight before confessing that he can't feel anything in his body. He goes into convulsions and doctors scramble to stabilise him, but they appear to be losing him. Ben in the meantime suits up and confronts the U-Foes as Spider-Man One other thing that may get people talking is MJ appears to be wearing the engagement ring, but they don't point that out or allude to such a development in dialogue. |

Immortal Hulk comes to it's oversized end.
Hulk, Joe, & Jackie wonder the Below Place confronting Stern & his nightmare inducing body. They defeat him before being confronted by The One Below All only to reveal that he is The One Above All this whole time after Hulk asks questions about his existence. With God basically stating he is his creation but a choice on whether he is the Left hand of Power or the Right hand of Mercy. Hulk chooses Mercy & forgives Stern before they leave the Below Place with Stern in custody, Bruce rescued & The Green Doors shut tight. Bruce is fused back with Hulk & Joe a walks off into the sunrise with much of the loose threads being solved in Gamma Flight (Rick is back to normal, & Emil Blonsky is back as the Abomination), Defenders, or offscreen (Samson/Sasquatch).
Overall despite the fact that the book is somewhat tainted given Joe Bennett's recent ousting Immortal Hulk was the best Hulk stuff I read in recent years.
