The "Are You Afraid of Darksied" anthology is interestingly framed around a campfire session with Damien and his Teen Titans group before they all fell out.

Amazing Spider-Man#76 preview Ben calls Aunt May and MJ, posing as Peter, although May isn't fooled at all. Ben has transported Peter to the hospital and tells the doctors he's his brother. When MJ arrives, she argues with the staff, who try to tell him it was Ben who called her and not her boyfriend. MJ wants to know who the 'brother' is but Ben has already left. Peter is tended to, and we get an insight into his inner thoughts, he believes something inside of his body poses a danger So, wait...MJ can't figure out when Peter isn't Peter, and May, who couldn't tell when Peter was being impersonated by Otto during Superior...can? Is this a simultaneous thankyou and f*ck you to Slott? aiptcomics.com/2021/10/07/marvel-preview-amazing-spider-man-76/

PKJ made an interview with Comics By Perch expanding his ideas for The upcoming Warworld Saga & the recent events of Superman as a whole.
Just going off the cliffnotes I admire PKJ ambitions & (controversial opinion) I prefer his handling of Jon over Tom Taylor but I feel like he's too ambitious with some of it. Like don't talk about how your yet-to-be-released story arc in the same leagues of something like The Dark Phoenix Saga or holding it out for 5 years.
His comments on Jon do make me raise an eyebrow. One minute he says he does expect someone to age him down in the future. Next minute he's comparing it to OMD....Which quite frankly is bold of you to even claim because unlike OMD we're not losing anything worthwhile if if the Bendis/Taylor White-Messiah reverted back to a remotely likable character.

Sounds like editorial got in his ear and told him something about Jon that's signalled this about-face. It's a ridiculous comparison. OMD erased a child and the Spider-Marriage. De-aging Jon makes him lovable, as you say, and keeps the Super-Marriage. Characters have been aged up and de-aged before in comics and it hasn't affected them negatively. PKJ also said he doesn't know how long he'll remain on the book, and if you look at the sales lately, I don't think they can sustain this 'epic' run for long. People are just not interested in this space opera he's building up (and the monthly schedule isn't exactly helping with it's pacing) Interview with James L Rotate on Archie's reinvigorated horror line as well as further plans for 2022 www.gamesradar.com/archie-comics-humor-heart-horror-2022-returns/He says the return of the main Archie title isn't 'off the table' but right now the goal is to focus on shorter stories and anthologies are their preferred model.

So is this what they ment by "aging him down is like OMD"? This PR stunt?

Just somebody pull a Future/Past Trunks already I'd rather not. I'd rather get rid of this White-Messiah horseshit & treat it like the black mark stain on a character history that deserves to be ignored & forgotten.
