Bruce evades the cops using strobe bombs that blind them, but they panic and shoot wildly in the air, directly hitting the thief Bruce was trying to collar earlier, he falls to his death.
Looks like Robin is named 'Drake' in the Keaton 'verse. He doesn't take a liking to Dent because he's a cop. He stops a bunch of crooks robbing a store and gets his nickname 'Robin' as a result (because they're 'robin' a store' get it? Get all your coats Sam Hamm)
Dent and Babs play around with one of Bruce's baterangs. Bruce, feeling guilty over the young man's death, goes to offer financial support to his neighbourhood.
A fire is started at Drake's garage, Bruce heads on over but discovers a bunch of crooks in an alleyway have been beaten up and their faces scarred by claw marks...it's Selina! She says she's been tailing Bruce for fun, she tells him to go and put out the fire, but not before she asks for a kiss.
Dent runs into the garage to try and fetch Drake, who's still inside, but the stairwell he's climbing down collapses and he's thrown to the floor. A can of fuel is tipped over as the fire intensifies

Fantastic Four celebrates 60 years this week as Kang & his other time traveling selves go about to mess with Fantastic Four history with the help of Scion. They unsurprisingly fail since Scion is revealed to be Reed & stopping them while recieving a time-capsule message from his father Nathaniel (in his weird 90's attire) dropping a bombshell on Reed: He has a sister.

Over in Fantastic Four Life Story, Franklyn gets married, Reed completes work on the defence systems and tries to get back with Sue, but while she loves him, she is unsure they can rekindle their love. Ben meets Alicia and they fall for each other. The Silver Surfer arrives and completly destroys Reed's defences, meaning the last few decades Reed sacrificed were for nothing. Surfer tells the U.N that Galactus will arrive in ten years. Ben proposes to Alicia and she accepts. Ten years later, and the FF are commemorated with a statue by a despairing earth populace...at least they tried. Despite Sue being there for him, Reed is inconsolable.

People speculate on whether Bendis will be taking over a Flagship Batman book. www.gamesradar.com/bendis-batman-dc/There was a time where I'd be for Bendis taking over Batman since a street level hero is more his wheel house but after The failure of his Superman stuff, Legion of Superheroes bombing, & JL only being on life-support because of Ram CmV I feel like a lot of good will he might've had with DC is spending up. |
