As we all knew he would, it wasn't his original vision, even if that was problematic in itself. Simplest thing would have been to never have put pen to paper on it at all....whatever, mistakes were made, lessons were learned. Hopefully it's not the only potential retcon he approves of this month |

Back when Slott's run was wrapping up and they were teasing the Red Goblin story arc, Slott hinted on twitter that the Goblin's apperance was because Norman had made a deal with Mephisto. It eventually turned out to be Norman using the Carnage symbiote.
Was this Hilarious in Hindsight or did Slott actually know something about Spencer's plans at the time?
