I agree about the co-existence thing. Mastodons & Smilodons existed during the Ice Age & after. They DID co-exist with humans. The first "Ice Age" movie showed that.

I just watched episode 2.
Dammit! I thought I was accustomed to the mediocrity but now they removed the cold open, my favorite cold open! Everytime I think this show starts to improve, something else shows me I need to better moderate my expectations. I'm so disappointed.
However, I tolerated this problem before so I guess I should give this show another chance. What I won't tolerate for long is Ryusoul Red piloting Kishiryu Oh alone. They're supposed to be a team.
I feel like this episode should've been the first episode. It makes no sense for Kishiryu Oh's Henkei mode to succeed 3 Knights. This show seems to be doing a lot of stuff backwards for no apparent reason.
Strange how Kou is naming the Kishiryus. That means he must be familiar with Portuguese. I wonder if there's a reason for Portuguese dinosaurs beyond imitating Kyoryuger. Probably since a lot of knights are European which would mean if Kyoryuger was Brazilian Portuguese, then Ryusoulger is authentic Portuguese. It's the same language except with a few differences.
After episode 4, I'll decide whether or not to continue with this show.

Episode 3 was definitely a better episode than episode 2. Although truth be told. I wouldn't have minded if we didn't meet Towa and Banba now and let Koh, Melt and Asuna fight the Minusaurs and Druidons by themselves for a bit longer.

I watched episode 3. I can't rub something off of my head. The tone is between dark and playful. The plot seems from a Kamen Rider series, it is somewhat dark, with "victims of the week" being the source for the monsters. And the red Ranger is somewhat an idiot. Not enough to be Takaharu, Daigo or Lucky. No, he is not an annoying red....Yet.
But, the series is too muddled. This episode is the example. It's better than ep 2, but it had too much: the victim and the monster, Melt's insecurities, and the introduction of Banba and Towa, to the rest of the team. Adding to this, it's the "first" (at least official") Gattai and battle from the core three's mecha. It should be something spectacular....if it wasn't its first battle, right in episode one.
I'm gonna watch the first 13 episodes. This deserves "the 13-episodes rule", instead of "3-episodes rule".
It's too soon to judge this. This could be the Jetman of this generation. Or the Shinkenger.

I need to binge watch the three latest episodes. I'm all ready working on an adaptation of it. But I'm liking this series!
I think the reason for this team being Dinosaurs is because the first Power Rangers were Dinosaurs and we're about to start a new era. So what better theme than the kind that started Rangers in America!

They could just be showing them off on Red but they're usable by any of the rangers.

I do like the look of that Mosasaurus Megazord. But I'm still annoyed it's a Gold Ranger.
What are those other auxiliary zords?

^ 2 raptors, a pachycephalosaurus and a ceratosaurus. I think Kishiryujin should have been a different color to distinguish it from Mosarex. Surely there are colors other than navy that compliment gold? Like purple or turquoise.

I wish the Super-Sentai.net site would update itself better. It's only added Megazord formations and not the Cerberus Minosaur or the additional RyuSouls like the Smell & Inflate ones.
