Is Kirameiger VS Ryuusoulger any good?

^ Thanks for reminding me, Xman.
I just watched it and I thought it was pretty good. Canalo finally does the swordpile with his sword instead of his gun. Asuna has succumbed to VS hair syndrome, but Melt, ironically, has not. Ui is vaguely referred to by Koh, but of course doesn't appear due to Kinjo's tragic death. The Ryusoulgers' interactions with the Kiramagers was nice to see. Would recommend.

Talking about that, guess what series refuses to die? Yeap. An special with the Masters. I feel this gonna be the most interesting from this series. I always wanted something more in about the Masters. Somewhat, too little, too late. But, oh well.....

So, is this like a movie, a three-part web-series or an actual TV show spin-off?

^ It's a movie, coming October 17th. I can't get enough Ryusoulger, so I'm super excited about it!

If it's like a prequel to the show, I don't care. But if Toei decides to make Ryuusoulger into "Kamen Rider Den-O 2.0" with more corporate cash-grabbing movie sequels and spin-off after this movie, then I don't want to have any part of this show. Nor do I ever want to acknowledge Ryuusoulger's very existence. One returns movie is enough for me.

^ Fair enough. I also wouldn't want Ryusoulger to end up obnoxiously overstaying their welcome like Gokaiger have done, so I was probably exaggerating a little by saying that I can't get enough. However, it's only been 2 years and like Crossranger said, the Masters were very underdeveloped, specifically Red and Blue. So I think they deserve to have some focus and hey, it has Matsuda Kenji! After that, then yeah, the show should probably take a very long break so people don't tire of it. As for those people who still want more, there's always fanfiction I guess.

I'm with you. Ryusoulger is the most underwhelming Sentai series ever. Good ideas, really really, bad execution. Monsters born from humans? If you kill the human, you can destroy the monster without a fight? What a concept! Boom, not developed. A drift between ancient tribes (Ryusoul and Canalo's tribes)? Good thing! Blowed after a couple of episodes. The masters? Nothing until now. Probably not the worst series of Sentai (Kyuranger is probably worse), but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmn, so many things didn't click in there. It's something my favorite character is Oto, and she appeared in like 7 episodes...... After watching Ryusoulger, I have to apologize to Kyouryuger for calling the worst Dino series ever.....

Okay, I watched the first 2 episodes of Master's Soul and yeah, it totally feels like something that should have been made while Ryusoulger was airing, rather than some tacky fanservicey thing. The core 5 Ryusoulgers are here, but they're out of focus, as they should be. This story revolves around the Masters Red, Blue and Pink, who finally get the development they deserve, although Pink did get a little focus in the Cosmoraptor arc so this is a bonus for her.
WARNING: Spoilers below!
Master Red acts kind of like Yuri from Kamen Rider Saber. Asocial and eccentric. He speaks flatly in his interaction with the stranger Hana, which prompts his more extraverted teammates to call him out for being rude. He's at the center of this big mystery, with Hana accusing him of murdering her father Higashi, which his senior student Nire (portrayed by Matsuda Kenji) knows something about.
Master Blue is similar to Ibuki from Kamen Rider Hibiki, Shibue's other superhero role. He also had a promising female student who quit her training. Mayu was depressed due to having an unrequited crush on him, since Blue and Pink are implied to be in a relationship. So she decided to research the Ryusouls and Ryusoul Tribe instead. Ever wanted an explanation for Melt's natural blue hair? Not me, but it's mentioned here.
Master Pink is sweet and kind like how she was depicted in the show, as she cares affectionately about her students. She tries to keep her other student Isuka from following a dark path. Isuka learned a dangerous technique from Nire as means to prove her superiority to Asuna, who she doesn't respect and considers unworthy to become the next Ryusoul Pink. But Master Pink teaches her the value of kindness which is Asuna's true strength.
If you ever wanted to know more about those three people who were anticlimactically blown up in the first episode and seldom seen ever again, this is the special you need to watch! It adds a whole new perspective to their legacy in the show.

˄ You sum my thoughts. Still, I don't think this gonna change my opinion on the series.

It adds a whole new perspective to their legacy in the show. You don't have to spoil anything for me. I already saw the three-part web-series, last night. Why the f@#$ would Toei even allow Masters Red, Blue and Pink to be killed off in the show? Why should I even care Kou, Asuna, Melt?! (Yeah, I know it's either "Meruto" or "Melto" or whatever the Hell y'all like to spell his name as. But it's still a dumb name for a character in my opinion!!) Especially after defeating the first batch of Minasaurs, witnessing their mentors being killed off in front and getting their mech in like the first two episodes. And then all of a sudden, Kou and the others don't have a clue on what to do next after all that training?! SERIOUSLY?! Did these three motherf@#%ers take stupid pills all of a sudden?! Did the writers seemed to forgetting how to write consistency between these three web episodes and the first two TV episodes?! Because I sure looks like it to me. God, this is why I stopped watching Super Sentai after Ryuusoulger, and I didn't even bothered to give Kirameiger a chance because of this stupid show. And now these web episodes are going to be forgotten the minute we start watching the TV series following this and those other characters that were introduced: Nire, Isuka, Hana and Mayu...yeah, they are gonna be immediately forgotten by the time main plot of the TV show begins. So much for their existence and how much importance they have to the entire "legacy" and lure of Ryuusoulger. Sad, isn't it?! Bit anyways, the whole legacy of the Masters' soul web-series was just unnecessary for me. In fact, I'm just gonna skip the entire series of Ryuusoulger and just stick with the main two movies instead. Hell, I might even forget that Ryuusoulger even existed because I have so much better shows to watch than this one.
