I am already catching up with the show, and to be honest I didn't like how we keep introducing villain generals in the spam of six or less episodes only to have them be killed off before we even got a chance to see them be properly flushed out as characters. Except for Wiseru, since he is gonna last longer than Tankjou and Gachileus. But, not THAT long. Also, is it me, or is Gaisorg (or as I like to call him, "Not Koragg/Wolzard-Fake") way too overly-hyped as a villain character? Because he hasn't really done anything in the show yet. He just showed up for like two episodes and didn't do anything menacing, but just look threatening and say a few lines. Like, what was even the whole point of making this "big-time menace" in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle mini-series if he's not gonna play a key role in the actual TV series of Ryuusoulger? Also, are we ever gonna get a traditional sentai main villain character in this series, or is this gonna be like in Gaoranger where there is no main villain character, but just interchangeable villain generals?! At least shows like Gingaman, Go-Onger and Goseiger we know who the main villains are because they were seriously built up big time. Here?! It's like we don't which of these villain generals are supposed to be the main villain-character in the show or if we're actually going to get one for the final arc in next January.

˄ I feel you. I sense the villians this season are like the ZyuOhger's villians. They exist, barely. I think the problem with Gaisorg, it's obvious: it's a frigging armour. I mean, Geildon and the Armor of Darkness too, but the trick is the host. Strongest Battle tell basically what's important for a character like that: the user is what matters: Luka, Takaharu, Stinger, at some point, Marvelous voluntarily....when the trick is discovered, well, you can't do too much with it. Except if you going like Abaranger: the Armor of Darkness's hosts are connected personally to a Ranger, in this case Asuka. It's a basic trick in Super Sentai: a good villian had some personal connection with a Ranger. Like Maria/Rie, the Liveman trio of villians, Wolzard, Basco, Enter, Dan/Byakko, Don Dolnero, Zamigo. Or, they have working in long-term plan, like Brajira, Bias..... The villians are meh here. I'm expecting some surprise for Gaisorg, like who is the actual host. But, so far, you are right, the villians are mostly a non-threat.

What's even sadder is that Power Rangers Beast Morphers is doing a much better job at establishing a personal connection between the rangers and Blaze and Roxy's evil avatars because clearly, somebody has taken notes on Liveman, Jetman and Abaranger on how to write a good villain and how they're personally connected to our heroes.

Just curious, but how do Ryusoulger fans feel about the team being split so often in episodes?

^ Well, I would prefer it if Banba and Towa spent more time with the other land knights. I mean, where do they even live? I was hoping for something more like Goseiger where they all just move in to the same house.

WEEELLLL!!!! So after 29 episodes of doing absolutely nothing but waste our time, we FINNAAALLLY get to see Gaisorg actually doing something in the show for once. Why am I not fucking surprised?!

I just watched episode 28. It was pretty intense with the Minusaur's tail squeezing Asuna's heart and Kou needing to destroy the tail without killing her. It was like that scene from The Wolverine! Melt also played an important role in supporting Asuna and it was nice to see that Banba cares about her a lot at the end.
Soon, Nada will reveal himself as the evil Ryusoulger, Gaisoulg.
A little disappointed that next episode is about Canalo's marriage obsession. He should get a new ambition since Mosarex failed him as a guardian!
I wonder why Pachygaroo doesn't talk but his son does. If he didn't teach Chibigaroo to speak Japanese, then who did?

Yeah, I'm sorry. But, I just felt disappointed with the whole reveal of Nada being Gaisorg. I mean, seriously. It was so freaking obvious that it was him this whole time and that he was eventually going to betray the Ryuusoulgers by attacking Kou. Like really, this was obviously planned out from the beginning and honestly, it did not pay off very well in its' execution. At least in shows like Abaranger and in some degrees, Jetman and Liveman, they have done better jobs at executing personal rivalries between the rangers and villains, and it made us believe that the rangers didn't want to kill the main villains because they know them personally and that there was still good in them. Here?! I get nothing, not a single emotional attachment that would make me want to care about these characters. But whatever, it's just my opinion, not that anybody cares about what I have to say nowadays since this is the Toku fandom that we're dealing with.

^Well Nada being Gaisorg, yes obvious. Him betraying the Ryusoulgers, yeah. But Nada striking Koh like that? I didn't see it coming until that scene happened. It reminded me of that scene in Ex-Aid after Emu rescues Poppy and the Pallad showed up and revealed himself as Emu's bugster and subsequently took control of him.

Honestly, I had a gut feeling Nada was Gaisorg and that he'd do that to Koh. You watch enough TV shows & movies and can't help but see it coming from miles away.
