That premiere was electrifying!!! Tobias Whale was good. China Ann McClain was good! And the hero sparks some excitement!!!
Interesting Factoid: Gambi's brother is the Tailor to the Flash's Rogues Gallery in the comics. He made a lot of their outfits. And their nephew became The Replicant!

ya i thought it was a pretty solid start for the show. I dont know much on the character myself. But the backstory and plot they are going for was good. Character development was solid and i enjoyed the acting. I am curious to see if they will keep this one apart from the other cw dc shows or down the road we learn lightning is just one one of the 53 earths we know are in the arrowverse multiverse.

A solid episode last night. Some good drama with Jefferson on trying to just be a regular guy and fixing his marriage and the need to be a hero again. Some interesting developments with his older daughter learning more about her powers. And cool to see they are keeping her sexuality as it was in comics. Was said to see that mother get killed. And hot dam at the end whale offing his underling and seeing he controls certain folks in the police force.

I didn't expect to like the show when I first heard about it. My intial thought was "Who the f%&k is Black Lightning?" I caught the first two episodes on the CW App today and I was really impressed. I'm hoping we'll get more episodes then just the initial 13 episode run Wiki says we're getting.

Season 1 will only be 13 due to it being a mid season start show. Plus the producers wanted a shorter start like legends did. If we get season 2 which we will they likely up the season order by a few episodes. All counting if it be a fall Launch or mid launch.
