Well part 2 for mirror universe arch was pretty solid. First we finally reveal the truth of prime universe tyler. And it's what folks been thinking for awhile. Second we see how Michael dealing with trying to fake it there. The coalition of races against the Terran empire was cool. And I am glad they really didn't overhaul tellerites, and andorians much like they did to klingons. And the reveal of the current emperor was sick.

Boy oh boy last night episode. It was very cool to see mirror universe emperor. And to see what her relationship with mirror Michael was. Also was curious with stmats meeting his mirror double and learn it was his double trying to contact him for awhile. The stuff with voq/Tyler was pretty good too. For number one and us to learn what's was really up with him. And hot dam at the end we finally learn what Lorca deal was. When show started we all knew something was off. I was rooting for him being section 31. But wow he was really mirror double all this time. Wonder where prime Lorca is.

well tonights episode was pretty solid. We learned some more about mirror lorca and his plans against the emperor. Also michael and the emperor relationship was pretty good. The showdown with lorca was pretty solid too. And holy crap with how it went. Also a good plotpoint and way for them to get back to prime universe. And the end tease for next episode holy crap.

Interesting episode last night. I was still surprised trip back to prime universe caused a time glitch. Vs all past mirror episodes trips brought you back at same amount of time you where gone for there. Was interesting with the voq and Tyler dynamic and who or what he is now. And using the emperor to help save the federation boy that was crazy reveal.

Just finished season 1 finale. A solid end for the season. I thought they set up end of war and the unification of klingons was well. And glad they didn't late the Terran destroy them. And held to starfleet ideals. It was also nice to see Michael rank and record restored. And tilly becoming a ensign. And hot dam end tease with enterprise and captain pike. Curious to see what they do with enterprise and captain pike and if we will see spock.

That redesign of the Enterprise is stirring up quite a bit of controversy, from what I have seen on social media.

Well discovery did change up looks a bit. But really it looks like enterprise to me. Just you know more modern sfx work. And not that solid smooth design from the 60s.

I've already come up with my own in-universe explanation. Others may not agree with this, but it's all I can think of.
2245- USS Enterprise launched from San Francisco Yards. Captain Robert April commands her for a five-year mission.
2250- April is promoted to Commodore and Christopher Pike assumes command for his first five-year mission.
2254- Events of "The Cage".
2256-57- Klingon War breaks out. Enterprise undergoes a refit, which explains how she is seen at the end of "Will you Take My Hand?". Pike commands her for another five-year mission.
2262- Pike's second five-year mission concludes and he is promoted to Fleet Captain. Enterprise is refit again into how she will look in "Where No Man has Gone Before", at the beginning of James T. Kirk's five-year mission.

That easily fit for me. But really look ships have changed looks with every advancement in sfx. Heck even nx 01 looked more advanced then tos enterprise.
