This is why I am glad that I never bothered to waste my time watching the Rider Time ryuki special when it first came out. I just finished watching the special and I feel insulted simply by sitting through all three episodes. I felt that this reunion special is even more mean-spirited than Kamen Rider Taisen, but what's worse is that this special was written by Toshiki Inoue of all people and he was at his worst when he actually agreed to write the story and script for this special. Like seriously, when I found out that Kamen Rider Femme was not gonna be in this reunion special because of the fact that her original actress was giving birth to her second child in real-life and that she was immediately replaced by Kamen Rider Abyss, a character that was exclusively made for Kamen Rider Decade, I just stopped the first episode halfway through because I had to clear my head for a few minutes. I understand that not all these actors were available to come back, and some of them are retired from acting and they all have lives outside of being actors and musicians, but they still should have at least hired a body-double and a voice actress for Miho Kirishima's character, but only shoot from the back of her head, or at least shoot the camera away so that we won't have to see her face up close and personal. It doesn't have to sound anything like Mio's character, but it would have been nice to acknowledge that Femne does exist and she's a part of the original roster of the Ryuki riders. But NOOOOOO!!! "Let's just replace her with a Ryuki-themed Rider character from Kamen Rider Decade instead and act like she never existed!! Because, we're Toei!! That's why!!" Then there's the scene in episode two where Gai and Raia are having sex. What in God's name was Toshiki Inoue thinking when he wrote that?! When was ever established that either Gai or Raia were gay in the original TV series of Kamen Rider Ryuki?! Because, I don't recall that ever happening in the show!!! This just feals like Inoue pulled this out of ass because he wants everything to be grounded in reality. And nl!! That's not how it works, Inoue!! TRY AGAIN!!!See, this is what really worries me about today's media wanting more representation in movies and television because they don't know how to write LGBT characters properly, or if they think this is how members of the LGBT community should act because they are being written by straight people and they have never actually met gay people before. If you're gonna have LGBT representation in your shows or movies, you need to have someone who actually is part of that community and have him or her share their personal experiences in real-life so that way you might actually get the character right if you want them to be connected to who you're trying to attract. Or if you're trying to write a story exploring that character's sexual identity and how he or she is struggling with the same problems as any other straight person would go through. So, the question is...was there anything that was remotely good about the Rider Time Ryuki special?! Actually, there were some good things about it like the fact that we got a really awesome kick-ass fight scene between Ryuga and Knight. Several unmorphed fight scenes in episode three, a new theme song by Rica Matsumoto, herself and she's still awesome. Some of the affects of the Advent monsters look pretty awesome and I do like the fact that Ren sacrificed himself to save Shinji which is drawing parallels to how Shinji sacrificed himself to save Ren in the final episodes. And that's all I have to say about that. Other than that, this was a painful experience for me to sit through and I am sorry. But, I have no intention of ever revisiting or even thinking about this god-awful reunion special ever again. If you liked it, more power to you. I don't not and I never want to speak of its' very existence ever again. In fact, I want it to be fully erased from my memories, period!! Just like Dragonball Evolution, the Michael Bay Transformers movie sequels, the live-action Last Airbender movie and the live-action Jem and the Holograms movie from 2015. I have to stop you there. I hate the premise of "LGBT characters have to be written by LGBT writers" because realism or whatever. The same for minorities and it's a problem that is plaguing the comics, tv and rest of the media for the last 5 years, specially for comics (more in Marvel comics). The whole "you are Latino, you have to write latino characters", it's problematic, and certainly racist. What about to write white charactes? Black characters? Gay characters? The "share experiences" it's basically awfully depicted, because sometimes the experience of the writer, doesn't connect with the reader. That happened to me reading comics as Iceman or Ms America, LGBT characters, but their stories are sooooooooooooooo bad. Impossible to read. Both writers are LGBT, but their comics are....ugh. (Sina Grace, Iceman's writer, actually wrote a good Power Rangers' comic). For other part, I read Midnighter from J. Orlando and I like it. A good writer has to be a good writer, beyond sexuality, religion or skin color. I don't care about this. And personal experiences don't always mean something to the reader. Sincerely, I dunno why Toshiki Inoue made both characters (Rai and Gaia) to being in a sexual relationship, but I think it was the excuse of the betrayal of Tezuka/Raia to Shinji and co., more than shock factor. I dunno. I don't care about if some people can't take that some characters are LGBT now, or because they don't believe they are "not realistic enough". News flash: we are in Kamen Rider, This was the (new) Rider War. They are trapped in another world, other side of the mirror. Realism is a weird thing here. You could say, it's realistic they start backstabbing, or forming alliances. It's realistic that people have sex. I think I like Rider Time Ryuki for the simple fact I don't care a lot about Ryuki, or I never put it in a pedestal: It was never a top ten series, Shinji was never a good Rider to me (Ren was a great Rider), the excuse for the Rider War was "meh" to me. I think Rider Time Ryuki was good IMHO, some flaws, sure, but encompass more about the Rider War than some tributes episodes for the series they tried to homage. As I said once: it was Kamen Rider Ryuki in a nutshell, like that anime compilations in YouTube.

Some of this sounds like the situation with cosplay. There are those who believe people should ONLY cosplay as characters who are the same ethnicity, weight, height, skin tone, etc. as they are. In other words, if you're an overweight, medium height Latino with a light complexion, you should only cosplay as overweight, medium height Latino characters with a light complexion. Yet me & many friends cosplay as Asian characters like Kamen Riders, Sentai Rangers, Ultramen, etc and we're not Asian! I once told a pair of elderly white customers at work that I tend to cosplay as Japanese characters. One of them said "But you're not Japanese!". I didn't snap at her because I knew she didn't know a lot about cosplay and let it slide. But there are those who believe you should only cosplay as characters who are a lot like you physically.

I just watched episode 46 and 47. Looks like Ora's power was given to her by Swartz in exchange for Uhr's life. Man, it sucks that Uhr might really be dead unless time distortion brings him back to life which wouldn't be surprising. His death by Ora was a surprise and Sougo becoming enraged by Another Drive's laughter reminds me of Sento losing his cool with Evolt after Kazumin's death. Neither villain directly caused the death but their reaction to it was what made them snap. Ora is apparently not as smart as Uhr since she trusted Swartz twice and got betrayed whereas Uhr was always suspicious of him ever since he turned him in to Another Kikai. I didn't expect Ora to reform like Uhr did since she murdered Yuko in revenge for cutting her face. I should've seen it coming but I was convinced that the show was trying to reform her so kudos for not doing that, even though my favorite Time Jacker, Uhr, is now dead, for now. I'll say it once more, it was great to see Daido return and him being cool with losing to Zi-O Trinity was just like his defeat in Gaia Memories of Fate. He wanted to die since he saw his existence as a NEVER as a curse. Eternal is a very memorable rider for his character, catchphrase and backstory and Argos is nothing more than a lame rip-off of him in a mediocre movie. Why did Sougo need to wait for Kaito to rewind time to revive Tsukasa? Zi-O II has the same power. This has been a recurring problem, he didn't use it to save Yuko either. Oh well, whatever. Next question. Why did Tsukasa have the Zi-O Kamen Ride Card? Doesn't he need to solve Sougo's problem before he can use his power, like all the other AR Riders he met? Whatever. At least it explained why he didn't lose his power after giving his Ride Watch to him, it served as a repository for half of his power which means Another Decade is incomplete. Imagine if he had the whole power! Now that Tsukasa has Zi-O's power, I'm interested to see how the Final Form Ride will tickle (mutilate) poor Sougo's body. I can't decide whether I want to see that or not. Final Form Rides are simultaneously cool and mildly macabre. There has yet to be an explanation for why Swartz's and Tsukuyomi's timeline is on the verge of destruction but I guess Swartz's actions will result in a causal loop destabilizing his timeline. Now about the options he suggested to Sougo: 1) Save the worlds and let Swartz and Tsukuyomi be erased with their timeline. 2) "Path of Tsukuyomi". 3) Become Oma Zi-O, activate the Dai Mazines and save what he can at the expense of half the world. Option 1 sucks. Option 2 is vague. Option 3 seems like the worst option as the events of the show would just repeat. Maybe Option 2 is the best case scenario, whatever it means. Miharu's death was sad but if Sougo can change the future, he can prevent it. I'm excited to see how the last 2 episodes of the final arc will resolve the problem. Well, to be honest with y'all, I never really like or cared about Ora and Uhr. I thought they were boring-ass villain characters. Even more boring than the villains from Power Rangers Megaforce/Super Megaforce. At least we all know that those assholes weren't going to last very long in either of those seasons, except for Vrak since he actually did have the most interesting backstory for a villain character. Schwartz is okay, but just not as good as a Kamen Rider TV villain character as let's say Evolt, or Kazari, or Tenjuro Banno, or Masato Kusaka, or even Dan Masamune. At least with Kusaka, HE LITERALLY IS AN EVIL BASTARD!!! And Banno is even worse. Now that is a villain character I'd love to hate. Schwartz is just..."Meh!" in comparison. Now as for Sougo waiting on Kaitou to revive Tsukasa with the Another Zi-O II Ride Watch....yeah, I am just gonna say it's bad writing or just lazy-writing, give or take. And for Tsukasa now having the Zi-O Rider Card, well...I don't know!! I mean, I ain't the one who wrote this show. I am just a guy who is trying to something that's remotely good as this series before it end. I am just surprised that the Destroyer of all Worlds even had a Rider Card with Sougo's powers, minus the Zi-O Final Form Ride Card. But now, I am just wondering who would make a far better Kamen Rider Zi-O, Sougo or Tsukasa? Just like how I saw Tsukasa use the Kamen Rider Ghost Rider Card in episode 15, he literally proved himself to be a far better Kamen Rider Ghost than Mr. "ORE WA TENKUUJI TAKERU" himself, in less than a minute!!! Like seriously, look at how bad-ass Tsukasa moved as Ghost in that episode. He made better use of those abilities than Takeru did in his own damn show. Including the levitation abilities. And he's not even the star of this show!!! But, I digress. The last two episodes of Zi-O better be amazing.

I watched ep 47, and I have to say: I like it. Beyond writing problems pointed out by ShRanger, about "why Daiki Kaito resurrected Tsukasa instead of Sougo", I should say "because another fight with Another ZI-O II". Maybe? Nobody points out the return of Chase, one of my favorite Riders of the last years. Yes, he was cold and robotic, but cool. I like him more than Mach sometimes. The whole fusion of worlds is initiating, and I'm starting to think this is the way they gonna undo the whole "erasing Kamen Riders" of the tribute episodes, plus the old known "the world Or the girl" cliché. It looks like Tsukoyomi's death flag is raising, and probably she is gonna be the sacrificial lamb of the season. I dunno, I can be wrong. And I like Schwartz: he is egotistical, his plan has sense, and he is hypocrite. I know he is lying, He doesn't care about the world of 2058, her sister, or anything: he only wants power and to be king. She banihed her sister, because she is going to be stronger. What a prick. One down, two to go.

^ So, finally going to happen? Kamen Rider Tsukoyomi? A little late in the game I must say. But, oh well. At this point, I already formed an opinion for characters and plot in general. So far, I think everything going to be very predictable, even the finale. The last two episodes don't going to change my opinion. Except if they are terribly bad (Ryuki's finale or Super Dino Charge finale), I think Tsukoyomi being a Kamen Rider don't going to change a lot in value for this series.

Also, her name is Tsukuyomi, not "Tsukoyomi". I think the last 2 episodes could be really good if they want to give a climactic ending for the show and the Heisei Era of KR. Anybody else notice that some of the legend riders have different hair, like Daido had blue streaks similar to Miharu and Kaito is blonde for some reason? Takeru in the Ghost arc actually got his correct hair back after Heisei Generations Final.

Sorry, Tsukuyomi. (Thanks autocorrector) Daido is not from the same timeline. He's from another world. Probably that's the reason he had blue streaks in the hair. And Kaito...Probably the actor like his hair blonde. Notice the Tsukuyomi's henshin has a sound like Sailor Moon? Nice, Toei. Also, she looks like Kamen Rider Femme, specially the chest plate and the cape (Well, Tsukuyomi uses that kinda...cape? Poncho?) Again, she came too late in the season. And I like her suit. Well, I liked Femme's suit too.
