This show keeps getting better. You claim that this show is getting better, yet I am still left f@#$'n confuse as to what the flying Frax from Power Rangers Time Force is even going on with the writing of this show?! It's like I watching Nobuhiro Mouri trying to make sense of everything that is wrong with Kento Shimoyama's writing, but then Shimoyama comes in and tries to make everything feel like it's Shuriken Sentai Ninninger all over again, but with a smaller cast and an even bigger misunderstanding with how to tell a story about time-travelling in a Kamen Rider anniversary series. It just makes me realize that Toei is making a big mistake in bringing back Kento Shimoyama as the main head-writer of Zi-O, since he already gave us Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. And now he wants to repeat the mistakes that were made in Ninninger with making even more writing mistakes with this show. I think Yasuko Kobayashi shoukd have been made into the show's head-writer since she can do a better job at telling stories about time-distortion and time-alterations than Kento Shimoyama can. Hell, Nobuhiro Mouri could do a better job at telling a story about time-manipulation in a Kamen Rider series than Shimoyama can. "I guess I don't understand Shimoyama's writing because I am just some dumb-ass whiny American fanboy expecting things to make sense in a Kamen Rider anniversary series!" |

^ Don't be so hard on yourself, Xman. Shimoyama's writing can vary and this time, I don't think it's the writer's fault. If we consider the inconsistency of the Cross-Z Ride Watch origin between Build's finale and the Build arc then I believe the producer, Shirakura, is responsible. I agree that Mouri could probably do a better job as head writer though.

notice that Shinji's boss come back i assume that Shinji still work at the ORE Journal! yeah that means he worked there for over 10 years!

Yeah! Ren & Geiz are a lot alike. They both saw the main hero as enemies. But they teamed up with them so many times that they grew to see them as friends.

Very true, but at least Faiz's first episode wasn't erased before Zi-O. And again, just curious. So far, we're pretty much through Neo-heisei, aside from Drive and W (if the movie isn't counted). For Heisei, if its focus episode, (and I'll count the Movie for Den-o, cuz who knows if they can get Satoh for episodes) we need Kuuga, Agito, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto and Kiva.
For Decade, I honestly just want Narutaki to show up, they still dont even need to explain his origin.

So yeah, episode 20.... "Meh!" Like seriously, that's all I have to say about the Kamen Rider Quiz arc. It's just "meh!" And I am not gonna be all that surprised about the Ryuki arc because it's basically gonna be the exact same crap from the last tribute episodes of this show..... "Time Jackers introduce another bystander to be the next Another Rider! Shougo and company have to find the real Kamen Rider of the past, the past Heisei-era Kamen Rider loses his memories of being a rider, or is now depowerd because of some bull@#$% excuse about time-alterations and time-travelling, etc. The riders befriend the past rider, gain a new ride watch! Defeats the Another Rider! Lather, rinse, repeat!!!"
Only difference is that unlike Kamen Rider Decade, it's less fun, a colossal waste of several audience members' time, and it's really a waste of good kaijin suit designs and concept arts that could've been used better in a different show or a movie that would celebrate the Kamen Rider franchise's respective 50th anniversary. Plus, the villains of this show are stupid and they really have no idea what the hell they're even doing because they are just playing "spin-doctor". Why can't this show by handled by Toshiki Inoue? At least he will pay more respect for the franchise than Kento Shimoyama will do with this series.
