In this serious we haven’t seen an truly evil ranger they’ve either been brainwashed people, robots, and or cyborgs. Not once have we had a ranger that was naturally evil with bad intentions in this series. The closest we got to it was hekyl and it sadly didn’t happen. I think the series would be more interesting if the rangers had to convince someone who was naturally a bad person to switch over to the good side somewhat like Luke did in Star Wars with Darth Vader.

How about we have an evil Power Ranger that isn't brainwashed or mind-controlled or and evil android or a clone or whatever. But rather an evil Power Ranger who chose to be evil out of his or her free-will or was already an evil person from the beginning before he or she was chosen to be a Power Ranger. Like Takeshi Asakura/Kamen Rider Ouja from Kamen Rider Ryuki. He was already an evil person from the beginning before he was chosen to be a Kamen Rider. Or like Masato Kusaka/Kamen Rider Kaixa from Kamen Rider Faiz, if you had actually seen the show before.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH HAVING AN EVIL POWER RANGER WHO WAS ALREADY EVIL FROM THE BEGINNING?!

I think Eric is the closest we are gonna get to an evil ranger. I wouldnt mind seeing an evil ranger or better yet, a natural betrayal. No spells, no mind tricks. Just a good ol betrayal. That would be good writing.

Exactly my point, fuferthought. No more mind-control, no more spells, just real characters choosing to be evil out of their own free-will or because they already wriiten to be bad people from the very beginning.
I don't know if someone from Hasbro would be listening to this but, seriously....change up the damn formula!!!!

One guy suggested a Ranger for one of my original teams that I thought sounded evil. He said "Yeah! It can be evil & a creation of God!" That's what comes to mind whenever I hear "Evil Ranger".
Eric was more of an anti-hero turned hero & a bad ass.

My idea would be to have a human villain, who manages to captures the whole team, though the team manages to escape, unbeknownst to them, the villain manages to understand their programming and taps into the morphing grid to become a PR-exclusive ranger who kicks millionths kinds of ass.

It would be great to have a full on evil ranger or ranger team going against the heroes and doesn't turn good at all. Be they aliens, humans, monsters, or robots.

Ya but we didn't was evil to end. Plus I think most would like a straight out evil ranger or team of rangers from start to end of a season.

I'd like to see an evil Ranger who is evil by their own choice and remains evil the whole season. In the end, they are turned good and faced with what they did. Thus, the redemption begins. Hell, I'd like to see an evil Ranger team like the Psycho Rangers for a change but no henchmen/foot soldiers.

just real characters choosing to be evil out of their own free-will So, pretty much A-Squad. Not quite. You see, the A-Squad were never fully established, nor were they actually build-up into being a team of Power Rangers who chose out of their own free will to be evil. The twist was amusing and all, but it just came right the hell out of nowhere and didn't really effect anything to the main plot of the series. In fact, when you really think about it...the A-Squad were never fully flushed-out as individual background characters and that's a shame. I mean, if Charlie and her squad were actually seen interacting with the B-Squad outside of their ranger suits in the earlier and maybe given more screen-time in the earlier episodes, before they were shipped off to another mission across the galaxy. The Psycho Rangers were just random monsters recruited by Dark Spectre to be granted the same abilities as the space rangers so that they can prove that they're better than them. And they didn't even need to be build-up as a main threat for the space rangers to face. They just needed to be bad-ass in their own merits. But, the A-Squad needed to be fully flushed out as individual characters and have some kind of status-quo set-up for them to be build-up as being secretly evil out their own free-will since they consist of four human power rangers of Earth and one space creature from another planet. Otherwise, what is even the whole point of their existence, and why should we even care if they're being introduced as another set of evil power rangers?! Look at Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender, for example. He was definitely build-up to being the main villain of season three and was still written as a competently evil character. Same thing with Thanos from the MCU, and many of us who saw the Marvel movies from 2008-today actually spent all of our time getting to know more about those characters and why they should matter when they go up against someone like Thanos in the future. Then you have the Hellfire Club from X-Men: First Class. They didn't need to be build-up as that evil threat for the X-Men to face in that movie, they were already evil from the beginning. Seriously, Sebastian Shaw was already an evil bastard, the minute he killed Magneto's mother in the opening of the movie. Same could apply for Emma Frost's character in that movie, Azazel and Riptide. Do you get what I am saying?! The writers had so much time to finally give the audience something that is worth remembering from SPD and they couldn't even bothered to set up this huge rivalry between the A-Squad and the B-Squad in the beginning. That's why I am having an issue with accepting the A-Squad being treated as a team of evil power rangers. The writers just did not think things through at all. Or they just didn't have enough time or patience to actually watch the past seasons, study the episodes and understand how Power Rangers really work for them.

I dont want a ranger from a beginning... it needs to be by suprise I want a ranger to ride with them all the way until the middle of the season them BAAAAAM!!!! BETRAYAL!!! no build up.. Just outta nowhere. They next episode they can have an episode explaining why he went evil. Then we get into the evil ranger arc. That would be dope!!!
