Now that an era is coming to a close, it's time to ask what was the best (read Least Awful for most people) Saban Brands season.
I am aware Super Ninja Steel isn't over yet, but whatever people's opinions aren't going to do a 180 from negative to positive with only 12 episodes and 2 clip shows to go.

Wait are you asking what was worst series or best of Saban brands. And technically I would still count bm as a Saban brands as things been in motion for awhile and Saban brands folks are still making it.

He kind of explained that in the first post.
Anyways, Dino Charge. It had likable characters, a pretty good story, and the season was pretty much just all around enjoyable.

Wait are you asking what was worst series or best of Saban brands Pay extra close attention to the key words being LEAST AWFUL It's being made under the ownership of Hasbro not Saban Brands. It's no more a Saban Brands season than Wild Force is a Saban season. Even if it ends up feeling exactly like a Saban Brands season complete with a Go Go Power Rangers remix and an attack called Final Strike it's still a Hasbro Series.[/quote]

I legit love Dino Charge. I rank that team right up alongside the best from the Saban and Disney years.
Super Charge had generally weaker writing but still had the lovable characters to carry it.
Samurai and Megaforce were terrible through and through.
Ninja Steel tho is a conundrum to me. When I'm watching it I think "My god this sucks," but then I think about it later and I'm like "Actually it's kinda good." I honestly don't know how I feel about it.
It's almost like it's...aggresively bland, if that makes any sense. Like for the most part I feel like the set up for a fun season is all there, but then in execution it doesn't get translated in the actual episodic plots. Somehow I manage to really like most of the characters, even though they never do anything interesting or worthwhile. I have the weirdest yin-yangy feelings towards this season.

I know I'm in the minority here but I don't have much problem with the era.
-Minus some minor acting issues, I honestly enjoyed both Samurai and Super Samurai. The story was pretty good with the addition of Deker. I don't mind how close it is to Shinkenger because there have been past seasons that are also very close to their Sentai. The characters are okay, even if they're close to their Sentai counterparts (minus a few acting issues).
-Megaforce is honestly a tolerable season. Yes, its lazy, over reliant on Japanese footage, poorly written, and badly acted, its not as irritating as it was originally. The story was basic but Mighty Morphin's story was pretty basic as well. The characters need improvement and development but honestly I don't hate them. Yes, even Troy.
Super Megaforce is a trainwreck but over the years I've calmed down, re-watched it and its honestly kind of an enjoyable trainwreck. The story is far from good but its okay in all honesty. Everything is set up to be explained but it isn't which sucks. I don't really mind Jake's key since the Zordon Era has color changing. The New Powers don't really bug me that much anymore. Legendary Battle was a watered down, piss poor Once a Ranger (as I found out after conparing them recently), though it actually makes sense how all the powers can be present (I wish how the powers came back was explained but oh well).
-Dino Charge was awesome with lovable characters and a fun and well-paced storyline.
-Dino Super Charge was honestly not that bad. The characters continued to be awesome and the story is imo, pretty good.
-Ninja Steel is also pretty good. Victor and Monty can be annoying but I don't hate them. As for the actual Ranger stuff, the characters are pretty good and the story isn't bad at all. Minus some poor executions, its a pretty good season.
-Super Ninja Steel is off to a good start but I can't fully judge it yet.

Sorry I just got a little tripped up. I Def agree DC was best series from Saban brands. The worst of Saban brands is Def megaforce. That was just series after series of stupid and dumb mistakes.
As for prbm wouldn't it still be Saban. As we know Saban creative folks and it's staying in nz and what not plus Saban isn't out right leaving franchise just yet. Really all you could say is hasbro likely footing bill for costs. But I wouldn't say it's all them yet to what ever after bm.

AlwaysARanger85, it's no different then it was with Wild Force a different company acquired Power Rangers during pre-production of next years season which means that it is a Hasbro season. Again, just like with Wild Force, while most of the production company was still there and still filming in LA, Wild Force was a Disney season just as much as Ninja Storm-RPM was after the move and change in production. And now, the same is said for Beast Morphers while as far as we know, most of the production crew is still present and still going to be filmed in New Zealand, it is now part of a new era, the Hasbro era. Yes, Saban is still going to be around as a creative consultant. How much of an input they are going to take from him is still up in the air, but it's also no different then with the newer Star Wars movies, its pretty obvious that George Lucas, while not running the show anymore, is being invited to the sets of the new movies as they are being filmed and while they don't always or ever take his suggestions, they do listen and consider his advice in the matter. But, Disney is fitting the costs to all of that like Hasbro is now with Power Rangers.

As we know Saban creative folks and it's staying in nz and what not plus Saban isn't out right leaving franchise just yet. Do we "know" any of this? All I read in the release was that Haim would still be a "consultant." That's it.

AlwaysaRanger, the fact that "Saban people" are working on it is irrelevant. Wild Force was more or less the same people working on as the original Saban era they were just now under the ownership of Disney. Even when the show moved to New Zealand you still had Saban Entertainment alumni like Doug Sloan as the showrunner for Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder. Jackie Marchand wrote for Power Rangers from season 3 all the way to RPM only being absent from Wild Force. Several episodes directors from the Disney era also directed Saban Brands seasons. Sally Campbell was a producer from SPD to Dino Charge.
Using the criteria "of so and so people worked on this season" just doesn't work.
Beast Morphers will be produced under the ownership of Hasbro. It doesn't matter if Hasbro is bringing in several people who worked under Saban Brands (and Disney and Saban Entertainment) it's still a Hasbro season.
MMPR-Time Force (Saban Entertainment) Wild Force-RPM/MMPR reversioning (Disney) Samurai-Super Ninja Steel (Saban Brands) Beast Morphers and beyond (Hasbro).
Chip Lynn will still be the showrunner for the Hasbro produced Beast Morphers? Cool. No different than when Doug Sloan was a writer, voice actor and story editor during the Saban Entertainment days and was a show runner for NS and DT under the Disney banner.
Or hell Chip being the head writer from Turbo2-Time Force, the showrunner for the second half of RPM, and the show runner from Dino Charge-Super NinjaSteel

Dino (Super) Charge is definitely the best season in Neo Saban Era.
