I'm still amused that people still want a TQGer or a Zyuohger adaptation. Besides the designs are fugly as hell (more in TQGer, because I can stand blocky mechas in Zyuohger, but TQGer's suits, mechas, and Power-up are visually STD), Almost like people have different opinions on the suits and don't think they're that bad. both series are old, and the series gonna fall a lot of more behind the Super Sentai. Hasbro literally went back and adapted the oldest series that was possible to adapt. They clearly don't care about falling behind Sentai. Adapting Go-Busters (of course is older than TQG and Zyuoh) IS AN EXCEPTION. And you know this... how? For all any of us know they're just going back to adapt the ones Saban skipped.

The thing is we still have a lot of questions for the bm series itself. Let alone is bm technically still saban control as work was going on for awhile plus we know it's going to drill be saban folks running series and be in nz. The the of course what is hasbro plans for frachise once they do things on there own and what have you.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say how much I hate that the abbreviation is BM.

I posted this in the movie thread, but it applies here too... So of course the big rumour - which is more likely to happen than not - is that now that Habro owns Power Rangers, they will not do a sequel to the movie from 2017, but instead just do a fresh reboot that they control. Thoughts about it?

I am sure they would like to make a movie down the road. Personally if I was hasbro I would wait a few years. Get a handle once they do fully creatively take over the reigns of a season. And see what they want to do and so forth. Same with do they want to make feature length film released in theaters, do a just direct to video/direct to streaming film. Then of course do they want to do film tied to x current season of the time. Or a non tied to TV franchise film. Or would they want to continue where reboot film went.
Heck another thing if we where to go back to 1 year to 1 series format. Be it while we still with nick for next 3 years. Or if we where to move down the road. One thing I love to make a return is series to series team ups again. And maybe if they want to do films. Why not let us do what sentai does with there team up/summer films and we get that with power rangers.
As for nick name/short hand name. I am sure most won't just call it bm. But prbm. Which doesn't seem to be as bad as just bm.

Almost like people have different opinions on the suits and don't think they're that bad. True. Everybody has different opinions. But most people think the designs are not that good. And penis train mecha is like a meme in the fandom. (Not a good one) Hasbro literally went back and adapted the oldest series that was possible to adapt. They clearly don't care about falling behind Sentai. But they do. They care if they fall behind Sentai, because the monsters suits and the rest deteriorates with time. The people of Saban are not idiots. They know this because they had this experience with Masked Rider. It's expensive to repair whole suits. This situation happens because what I already said: IT'S AN EXCEPTION. It's a guess, but you don't quote me the rest of my post: the deals between Saban dropping BoA and reaching Hasbro to make its toys, wasn't made in a single day. This kind of deal took weeks, months, so It's a guess with a lot of evidence. Saban probably wanted to adapt Kyuranger (there were rumors in one of the toys fairs there was a representative of Bandai of America talking about the possibility of this adaptation. But that was before the deal) And you know this... how? For all any of us know they're just going back to adapt the ones Saban skipped. Again, it's a educated guess, but with a lot of fundaments. Think in the Disney deal trying to buy Fox. This is taking for months. And the deal is not finished yet. That's why I believed this deal took more than the oficial statements just said. And I don't believe Hasbro gonna make adaptations of a Super Sentai series without the help of people who already did it (because Hasbro never adapted a live action series before). Therefore, I think we gonna have Chip Lynn and company more time, probably if they gonna change EP or head writer, this gonna take a couple of years.

And penis train mecha is like a meme in the fandom. (Not a good one) And it's overstated how big of a deal that was. The ToQ Boner happened for less than five seconds once, and they could easily edit it out. Hasbro literally went back and adapted the oldest series that was possible to adapt. They clearly don't care about falling behind Sentai. But they do. They care if they fall behind Sentai, because the monsters suits and the rest deteriorates with time. The people of Saban are not idiots. They know this because they had this experience with Masked Rider. It's expensive to repair whole suits. Saban probably wanted to adapt Kyuranger (there were rumors in one of the toys fairs there was a representative of Bandai of America talking about the possibility of this adaptation. But that was before the deal) But again, they obviously had some hand in choosing what would be adapted next. We all know that if BOA was making the decisions by the time it was picked, they would've picked the sentai that they had a hand in making. Nobody is saying that the deal was done in a day. But I really don't see what that has to do with ToQger or Zyuohger being adapted. Yeah, suit deterioration is a thing. But that really didn't stop them with Go Busters. If the suits weren't in good enough condition to use, they wouldn't be adapting it right now. People are speculating that Beast Morphers might be one season instead of two. If that's the case, and I'm not saying it is, we wouldn't fall that far behind sentai anyways if we have one season adaptations again. But again, that may not be the case. Two season adaptations, yeah, they'll make us fall farther behind sentai. But we don't know what the future for PR holds, and shutting down people's speculation just... doesn't help anything. Nobody's saying ToQger or Zyuohger will be adapted. But since Go Busters got it's chance, they also might get one. And you know this... how? For all any of us know they're just going back to adapt the ones Saban skipped. Again, it's a educated guess, but with a lot of fundaments. Think in the Disney deal trying to buy Fox. Therefore, I think we gonna have Chip Lynn and company more time, probably if they gonna change EP or head writer, this gonna take a couple of years. We might be stuck with the same writing team for a while longer. That's a definite possibility. But again, we don't know that Go Busters in an exception. It's fully possible for ToQger and Zyuohger to be adapted after Go Busters. But it's also possible that they'll just go to Kyuranger. It's all just speculation at this point. Nobody really knows what's going on behind the scenes.

Even if it's the same writing team it doesn't mean Beast Morphers will turn out like the Saban Brands seasons.
A LOT of the problems with those seasons seems to be more of a problem with higher up management. Even if Dino Charge was pretty good and SuperCHarge wasn't the worst compare that stuff to Chip's other Power Ranger work and yeaah I think the problems goes beyond Chip and ingrained at a corporate level at what direction they wanted the franchise to go.

It's wild that Bandai isn't making the toys anymore. I guess with Hasbro being a toy company, it must've been part of the deal.

Hasbro got a lot of work to do. This is why I think Power Rangers is about to change dramatically. Unlike Disney, Hasbro dont have a lot of hustles. Their main thing is toys. Buying the Rangers for that price means, its about to be their front runner. (like transformers) I do believe they will make another movie but I think it will be more like Transformers instead of what got last time. Honestly I would love for Michael Bay to do a Power Rangers Film!!! That my friend would be crazy!!!!

I personally would not want bay to do power rangers. I rather have more of a balance story teller and action. Then bay who is just explosion.

Here is a thought. In a breakdown list. What are things every one wants to see hasbro do/change differently from neo Saban era?
