Again I don't see why folks think franchise is doom and gloom all a sudden. They have successful enough toy lines, comic series that doing well, and show has a 3 year pick up. All we can hope is hasbro can get brand in light like tf is to public vs pr more niche.

This should be interesting. They could do an animated and live action power ranger movies. Heck I would love to see both kinds. I'm glad that Hasbro saved Power Rangers from disappearing forever.

Pink like others have said it's doubtful they do cartoons or animated films. As hasbro will have to still like Saban go through toei. And if toei doesn't want it hasbro can't do it. Plus they really don't need it. They will have past series and upcoming toylines. Plus live action TV shows. The talk of movie will likely just be like what Saban and LG tried. A separate from TV franchise thing. Where TV is its thing and film franchise is another. I know some would like of pr being apart of planned hasbro universe films they are trying to do. But I rather leave power Rangers be it's own thing in film and tv. Leave the odd crossover stuff to the comics.

I personally would not want bay to do power rangers. I rather have more of a balance story teller and action. Then bay who is just explosion. Power Rangers already have explosions. lol

Lol I know that. But that is pretty much all bay films are with no real story. Like I said with that post I rather have a director who is good mixing action and story well. Also as I was saying earlier if we do get future films from hasbro, and hasbro film verse happens.
I still rather have rangers be there own things. Making them be heroes on a world where transformers and gi joe/etc... other hasbro brands I feel hurt the unique aspect and story for x team. If these other teams and what not are around.

That's great news. There's too much potential in Power Rangers movies for the idea to just die with last year's movie. I think it should be interesting to see what the future holds for Toys R Us and/or the potentially resurrected Kaybee Toys. Undoubtedly that will affect Hasbro.

Would be cool seeing IDW & Boom Studios make a crossover with Power Rangers, and other Hasbro comic adaptations if they bring back Lord Drakkon trying to conquer the universes that doesn't have Power Rangers like Transformers & G.I Joe with Megatron & Cobra Commander forming a alliance with Lord Drakkon.

Hey, just curious about something, do you think with Hasbro now owning Power Rangers, will they still continue to adapt Super Sentai for Power Rangers after whatever contract with Toei is up, or go and make their own?

Of course they are going to work with toe and still adapt sentai. Why would you think hasbro wouldnt. Power Rangers works as they save costs getting suits and props and footage. Really this is ultimately no different then when Disney had show.

It would be cool to see a Power Ranger crossover again, well not like it was with Super Megaforce. I mean it would be cool to see an animated Power Rangers movie, but I guess that's just not in the cards I guess. The crossover for comics, wouldn't it be interesting if they were to do Power Rangers with MLP (My little pony). Now THAT would be odd yet interesting. Since MLP (My little pony) is under the Hasbro brand. I can't wait to see what kind of Power Rangers movies they'll do. And what would be the next power rangers season after Beast Morphers.

Really this is ultimately no different then when Disney had show. Oh trust me, this wasn't my thinking. The only reason why I asked this in the first place was to see if there were others that were thinking the same thing I am about it as there was someone on Facebook that was stating that since Hasbro has full control of the series and that Power Rangers and Sentai are two different shows that it couldn't stop them from going and producing their own series without adapting a Sentai series. Trust me, I know it doesn't make sense on a budget stand point and plus, we all know that Toei will be attach to Power Rangers in some form whoever is in ownership of the franchise.

I sorta brought thupafew days back ice. I seen for example over at tokunatuin and others there is some fans things bandai, and toei trying to block hasbro on future shows. And reason they went with gobus. But I highly doubt that is true. And why would toei, and ultimately bandai do something like that. As like I said footagr, suits and props we get from them and it saves us costs and all that. And ultimately toei, and now to a lesser degree with bm and future seasons bandai makes money off brand.
