That's also a problem because once Abaranger is released on DVD through Shout! Factory, the summer movie, "Abaranger DELUXE!" is going to be omitted since they can't even afford to get the damn licensing rights to release the movie outside of Japan, and...Abaranger the Movie is considered to be cannon to the main TV storyline since it is set right before Abare Killer kidnapped the Dimetro and Pachy mechs in episode 22 and after episode 21 where Yastudewani was chasing after Ranru. They actually referenced the movie as being cannon in episode 47 of the show because Bakuren'oh made an appearance in that episode.
It's also gonna be like that with Magiranger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Go-Busters and Kyoryuger when it's announced that those shows will be released on DVD through Shout! Factory because their respective summer movies are also considered to be cannon to their own TV storylines. Especially Kyoryuger. And believe me, if you have seen most of Riku Sanjou's work on various other Tokusatsu shows such as Kamen Rider W, and Drive....you know how much Sanjou-san loves continuity.
Thank God for me that GoGo-V's movies are considered to be standalone movies. Same for Hurricaneger's movies because they're non-cannon. Dairanger and Kakuranger's general movies are also standalone movies as well.

Okay, you do realize that it isn't entirely Shout's fault for not getting the rights to the movies right? For all we know, Toei isn't allowing them the rights to the movies for some reason or another. They may be waiting for Shout to license and release the actual shows themselves. All of them, before giving them the rights to the movies. And plus, the only people that are really buying these DVDs are fans that know of Sentai's existence and they probably already have access to the movies for each one viva the fan sub groups that have already subbed them. There is zero reason to have a beef with Shout Factory for something that they probably can't control themselves. And plus, just because they can't license the movies at this time, doesn't mean we should boycott these releases when it took so many years for us to even get official releases the show itself State side. If we want to even have a slim chance at seeing the movies actually getting released state side too, we have to continue to buy and support these releases regardless on whether or not they will even be able to get the rights to the movies.

Question....what if they had to figure out where the movies should be placed in the main storyline's continuity?!

Two different ways in doing so there and both aren't hard to do so. One, is ask other fans where they think it would fit. Or two, go here, look up series for which movie and click on the movie. Each movie listed with their Sentai series has a continually placement as to where between which episodes the movie takes place. powerrangers.wikia.com/wiki/RangerWikiTo which, the second option would be more recommended instead of asking everything single time. And again, the sales of these DVDs are mostly from fans of Sentai who have been waiting on these releases to come state side for years and have already like downloaded the movies onto their computers with fan subs or some may have bought bootleg copies of the movies with subs that are either the Hong Kong subs or someone using another groups subs on them.

Any chance we will be finished with the Jetix era source shows by 2021? Or 2022? Next release will start it. Ninja Storm was ABC Family. That is Hurricane.
On another note Car Ranger looks interesting so I will watch the other 47 on DVD.

If they follow the same format in releasing the shows like the last few years, it is quite possible that by 2021 or at the latest 2022 we'll be all the way to Go-Onger. I would actually safely say 2022 as being the most likely year that we get to Go-Onger. And, just for the record, no one in the fanbase goes by broadcast eras as it is just too confusing. We go by ownership era which makes it easier on all fronts. MMPR-Time Force Original Saban era, Wild Force-RPM Disney era, Samurai-Super Ninja Steel Neo Saban era. And now, Beast Morphers-onward Hasbro era.

well just go back and look at release windows between each show has been for the shout releases. So with disney run being wf-rpm being 8 series. 1 has been released already, so 7 more to go. That means we probably be done with disney era in 21 months.

RPM was the last one released by Shout as Samurai was Lionsgate. That being the case I was wondering if the Samurai source show would be released in 2022 by Shout.

There would be zero reasons as to why Shout would stop releasing Sentai DVDs past Go-Onger. Just because Shout didn't have the rights to Samurai onward doesn't mean anything. That deal is complete separate from the deal with releasing the Sentai DVDs.

That does help as I would love to finish up Go Busters and catch the train series Saban skipped due to Ninja Steel.
Also it would be good to finish the 35th series. Saw almost half of it.
Started watching Mega Ranger and Time Ranger both but decided to hold for DVD on them.

RPM was the last one released by Shout as Samurai was Lionsgate. I don't understand that sentence.

So...remind me again, why aren't we getting any DVD releases on any of the Pre-Zyuranger sentai shows aside from Jetman from Shout! Factory's website?! I mean, I understand that they're mainly focusing on releasing all of the other sentai shows that have been adapted into a season of Power Rangers on DVD, but honestly at this point, who cares?! Many of us Tokusatsu fans have already been fortunate enough to gain access in watching most of the other sentai shows that have been adapted into Power Rangers through either downloading torrents on or laptop computers or by viewing streaming websites in the past, but not everybody has access to the internet. (That's a different I might add!) However, I feel like we're not gonna be so lucky to even get almost any of the other Pre-Zyuranger sentai shows released on DVD through Shout! Factory because of Toei, and it's really sad because I have never seen Himitsu Sentai Gorenger before, and I want a blu-ray/DVD copy of the show with proper English subtitles. Hell, I wouldn't mind if Toei were to re-release Liveman on DVD, because I will definitely pick up a copy if it was gonna be on Shout! Factory's next released product.
But, that is never gonna happen now is it?! Not for like the 20 or so years. So, I don't know what the hell is going on with Toei and Shout! Factory at this point, but if I don't see any other Pre-Zyuranger sentai show getting an official home video release in the U.S., I am gonna be very, very, very, very, VERY pissed off.

I'm going to guess that they are going to release one pre-zyu series to DVD by the end of each year after doing like 2 or 3 post-zyu series to DVD during that year.
Hurricanger is pretty late coming anyways which is March so I bet Abaranger would be August and perhaps late fall would be the next pre-zyu series (Fiveman). That's just a guess.
Unless they are going to release a pre-zyu series every 2 years....if not another pre-zyu comes by the end of this year, then Magiranger would be.
We shall wait and see.
