So...remind me again, why aren't we getting any DVD releases on any of the Pre-Zyuranger sentai shows aside from Jetman from Shout! Factory's website?! I mean, I understand that they're mainly focusing on releasing all of the other sentai shows that have been adapted into a season of Power Rangers on DVD, but honestly at this point, who cares?! Many of us Tokusatsu fans have already been fortunate enough to gain access in watching most of the other sentai shows that have been adapted into Power Rangers through either downloading torrents on or laptop computers or by viewing streaming websites in the past, but not everybody has access to the internet. (That's a different I might add!) However, I feel like we're not gonna be so lucky to even get almost any of the other Pre-Zyuranger sentai shows released on DVD through Shout! Factory because of Toei, and it's really sad because I have never seen Himitsu Sentai Gorenger before, and I want a blu-ray/DVD copy of the show with proper English subtitles. Hell, I wouldn't mind if Toei were to re-release Liveman on DVD, because I will definitely pick up a copy if it was gonna be on Shout! Factory's next released product. But, that is never gonna happen now is it?! Not for like the 20 or so years. So, I don't know what the hell is going on with Toei and Shout! Factory at this point, but if I don't see any other Pre-Zyuranger sentai show getting an official home video release in the U.S., I am gonna be very, very, very, very, VERY pissed off.
You really need to get a grip. We're only nine days into the new year, and we have all this year to see if they'll put out more pre-Zyuranger Sentai. Besides, there are probably a lot more people interested in PR-adapted Sentai releases than you think, whether they've torrented them or streamed them or not. Maybe they're just happy to finally be able to own DVD copies of these shows that they don't have to import. I can tell you that I'm one person who has never torrented or streamed any Sentai. Additionally, Shout! Factory gets the rights to release Sentai one by one, and therefore Toei has the final say . They've said before that pre-Zyuranger Sentai aren't out of the question, and we've already gotten Jetman. So it probably just comes down to negotiations.

I'm going to guess that they are going to release one pre-zyu series to DVD by the end of each year after doing like 2 or 3 post-zyu series to DVD during that year. Hurricanger is pretty late coming anyways which is March, so I bet Abaranger would be August and perhaps late fall would be the next pre-zyu series (Fiveman). That's just a guess. Unless they are going to release a pre-zyu series every 2 years....if not another pre-zyu comes by the end of this year, then Magiranger would be. We shall wait and see. I guess. Looks like I am stuck with watching the HK subbed versions for the time being.

Does the alien from Car Ranger remind anybody else of Keeper from Dino Charge?
The one who gave the Racers their Ranger powers
On another point we got Jet Man as that was where Power Rangers was supposed to start adaption wise.

Yep. Could not think of the name a while ago.
As for Mega Ranger I didn't see that we will Morph bit coming in the picture. What did shout Factory do? Pull a Power Rangers gag?
Anyway Lionsgste took over DVD releases of Power Rangers. Shout had not gotten year release rights for Samurai to Super Ninja Steel.

i dont think we know what shout deal with toei and what sentai we can have done after go-on is released. Heck look we gotten pre zyu shows released. Toei more then likely will let shout continue releasing pre zyu shows and post go-on shows. Its all about what ever there contract is for. Plus if each release is selling enough for toei and shout.

Starting to warm up to Car Ranger.
Actually Car Ranger might be better than Turbo.
We have 6 more releases left to finish the Jetix Era.

I myself prefer Turbo over Carranger. Though, and this is just my personal preference, I prefer watching Power Rangers over Super Sentai. But, I do enjoy watching Super Sentai and seeing what was done differently or same between the two.

Well I looked at the footage guide and given each US 21 min episode uses 3 from Toei that makes for a bit of a mess. Space Patrol Delta was matching episode per episode with Toei so they had the best luck. Even Dragon Knight was great.
So having watched a little Car Ranger Turbo felt crammed like it didn't make sense when they use footage from more than one episode.

^Yes it was. I myself think the production crew did a good job with what they had to work with when adapting it into Power Rangers.

Are these the same prints run on TV Asahi? If so I will get it also so the clock is not getting in the way of the episode.

I have recently added Oh (King) Ranger and Car Ranger last month and this month Mega Ranger making my 6th , 7th and 8th shows seen over all. Going to be on my 4th Saban Series while I am watching Oh (King) Ranger and Car Ranger. Both still running and starting Mega Ranger. Bring it on in 2020 for Magi (Magician) Ranger. Likely next summer.
Mega Ranger on order.
