Don't ask me, this just came out recently yesterday. All I know is that if Psylocke isn't gonna be in this movie, then I am not gonna watch it.

*sigh!* I hope that Kevin Fiege and Marvel Studios will give this actress another chance to play a different character in a future MCU movie.

Thank god! Having Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique be such a central character in the first three movies got old very frigging fast. Hopefully they kill her near the beginning of the movie....
I liked the trailer. I'm more hyped up for this one then I was The Last Stand, and I can't wait.

Something to keep in mind about Dark Phoenix for anybody who didn't like the way that The Last Stand handled the "Dark Phoenix" storyline: For all that is changing, there are a lot of narrative elements that are intentionally remaining the same and "echoing" what happened before, so if you didn't like TLS' take on the story, I'm not sure you're going to like what's being done this time around either.
Personally, I love The Last Stand, and the fact that Dark Phoenix is clearly following in the footsteps of Logan by showing us that, for everything that was changed by the events of Days of Future Past, some things are still going to happen similarly one way or the other has me even more excited for it than I already was.

trailer looks good. But here is a question i have. Even though we know the fox xmen verse is pretty much over now. I thought with days of future past. The young cast series and the old films where meant to get solidify. But if raven/mystique dies here. How is old timeline and the what not the same any more.

Personally, I love The Last Stand, and the fact that Dark Phoenix is clearly following in the footsteps of Logan by showing us that, for everything that was changed by the events of Days of Future Past, some things are still going to happen similarly one way or the other has me even more excited for it than I already was. I kind of liked the "Battle for the Cure" storyline in "The Last Stand", but...I rather have the Dark Phoenix subplot be saved and split into a separate, yet standalone two-part movie. Kind of like a pre-existing "Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows, Part One and Two". I mean, the Dark Phoenix saga is meant to be treated like it's an actual event resulting in the death of Jean Grey, but also, the first wave of the X-Men being broken up since they have already lost a valuable member of the team. The whole story began with Jean Grey enrolling into the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, and calling herself, Marvel Girl. And the Dark Phoenix saga is a swan's song finale to her character arc in the original comics and it ended with Jean Grey dying as Marvel Girl. Similar to how Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a swan's song finale to the first Terminator movie. The first Terminator movie was a nice treat to help you get your mouth wet. And Terminator 2 was the actual finale to the franchise. But, you would think the people who worked on the original X-Men movie trilogy would have gotten that message by now?! Uh....no!! They didn't get it. They just crammed in two entirely different storylines that did not have any connections to one another or had absolutely nothing in common, writing-wise. Other than just, "Oh, it has the X-Men in it!!" And that is just sad. Now we have this movie coming in and it almost feels like the filmmakers still didn't get the memo even after 19 years. But, I don't know if they have actually read the comics in order to understand why the Dark Phoenix saga is such a great storyline and how it impacted a generation of comic book fans. If this movie was actually handled by Marvel Studios, then it would feel like the storyline is in good hands, because most of the MCU movies are being handled by people who actually did read the damn comic books when they were either kids, themselves or were huge comic book collectors in their youths. Yeah, they know what they were doing because they were also comic book collectors and fans, just like us. Think about it!!!So, that is just my thoughts overall. Now, if the movie actually does feel like a shameful rehashing of the Last Stand, then that's the fault of the filmmakers and the studios that enabled them to do that. But, if it's not, then I guess it's sort of similar to how we felt about X-Men Apocalypse where it's not a very good movie to wtach in theaters, however, it can be seen an average movie to watch on TV at your own home. It's a 50/50 possibility.

Ya I be disappointed if it did end up as bad as x3 was. So far it looks good. But the fox x films have been a toss up. Some good some bad. But hopefully it will be a good wrap up to fox films. Then in a few years we see what marvel studios has plan for the merry mutants gang.
