Cole folded his arms, trying to think of a solution. "Whatever happens, this thing went after Ken after it threatened Masters. It's using Ken's emotions against him, specifically his guilt over Kaleb and Moze. If we can get Ken to see he's not whatever the ghosts are telling him, we can get his confidence up, and I'm sure he'd find a way to take Asimov down." He chuckled, shaking his head. "It's funny. The bot's named after Issac Asimov, the creator of a lot of cliches that are used in robot writing in fiction, and it's breaking the First Law of Robotics. "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm." Same thing AXIM and the rest of the Machine Empire's doing."
Cole and Ken were at an impasse both brothers wanted to help defeat Asimov but didn't know how to when Jun brought up the Terminator reference Cole had a thought "maybe we could freeze him and shatter him?" The green Ranger asked
"I'm not sure if freezing Asimov will work. But I now know Ken is the key to stop it. Question is, is he truly ready for it? Bear in mind, there's more than just dealing with ghosts. He struggles with running SPD." Olivier says with a frown, having her arms crossed.

"Maybe he wasn't ready to run SPD," Tifa said, folding her arms. "Too much pressure on a broken soul that hasnt' had the chance to heal?"
Ken sighed he knew that Jax was trying to help but it was hard for the self-proclaimed King to stomach running to SPD while everyone else was fighting "I get it man I really do but no self-respecting King self proclaimed or otherwise would run and hide while everyone else was out there fighting I just feel so helpless and I hate feeling like that" the blue Ranger said
"That makes you human, Ken," Jax said. "Look....what you need is a break from SPD. Let Zara run it, take a break and focus on the Machine Empire. And I don't mean use SPD's resources to try and pinpoint their location and take the fight to them. You're mind's going in a dozen directions and it aint' good for anyone. Being Blue Ranger needs to be your main focus. SPD's draining you mentally and physically. I'm sure Cole and your mom could agree."

"Maybe a little." Derek smirked. "But hey, this isn't the first time we've been back and forth on this." Grabbing a snack, Derek went into flashback mode. "I know you don't remember this because of the timeline changes, but we had a very similar conversation a few years ago in the original timeline when I was in my sad boy era. The difference was that back then, I was being the baby because I was so worried about you getting hurt after so many Rangers died based on my bad call. I was made to realize that I was wrong and being to overprotective then. Fast forward to today and while I'll worry about you, I worry about our unborn kid even more. I'm scared that putting you out in the field risks their life when they haven't even had a chance to live it, ya know?"
Amara nodded softly. "I know," she said. "But I also know when I'm outnumbered and outgunned, and I know when to run. Im' not the same little naive girl I was when I was in Pink. Nearly a decade of war will fuckin' do that to you. I'm ready to hand it all over to Jax, but....that little part of me wants one last fight before giving up the Gold and taking on Mama Amara duties."

"Seems that he has a massive responsibility on his shoulders," Jun said, leaning against the wall.
"I had thought about it. I was planning to ask Ken but at the time, he buried himself." Olivier admits. "Here's a thing, Kaleb gave the ownership to him just before his sacrificed move. An impulsive sacrificed move, that was. Anyways, being thrust into the role, he never got a chance to breathe to the point he even treat SPD crap. It's ultimately up to him. He has to pick what his heart really wants."

Ken couldn't help it he began to cry angrily frustrated more than anything "I can't afford to be human I have to be more I can't face Moze and the old man if I can't handle being two places at once he didn't die for Zara he died for me it's my fault it's all my fault those cadets are my fault too I got them killed if they you give up command of SPD to auntie Z it will just prove that I ran away again!" The blue Ranger said
Okay screw this time for some tough love!" Cole said grabbing two kendo sticks off the wall and and tossing one at the feet of Ken as he prepared by gripping the other one "pick it up we are going to spar your dad always said there's something the mind can't sort out a a little physical activity will clear the head
Ken stopped crying and laughed picking up the stick you don't want this fight Cole"
"You're right I don't but I don't want my brother blubbering like an idiot unless someone else wants to take on his Royal Majesty?" He said offering the stick to the others

"I know that," Amara said softly. "That's why I feel so selfish. I can't do what I love because of someone new that I love, and it's....I don't know, it's weird. You guys are saving the world from AXIM and...I'm in charge of helping usher in a new generation. It's scary. I can face down Blackstone and Gregory and Dhazan and Khatok and my mother all day long and not blink an eye, but the thought of growing a whole person....it terrifies me..."

Despite Cole and Ken trying to lighten the mood, the alarms went off. Jax turned and faced the screen, pulling up the alert. "Looks like Asmiov's back. And this time he's at Eaglemere High Baseball Stadium. Packed crowd, lots of potential targets," he said. "Clear the stadium, kill the bot."
Tifa nodded, looking at Ken. "you got your head on straight enough to deal with this? Or do I bench you until Jax's antidote gets finished?"
Moze walked over to Ken, putting her hand on his head and smirking. "True Blue's got it. He just has trouble unsticking his head from his ass, but he'll be good."
"That's right. He's a Kingsford, dammit, and we don't back down." Kaleb walked up, sighing as he faced his son. "I took Kingslayer because I couldn't stand the thought of telling Kayla you'd died. My death wouldn't have been a big blow, but yours would. She loves you, Ken, and she can't lose you. Just like Cole can't. You're my son, King of fucking SPD, and the only Blue Ranger meant to take on that burden. So get your head out of your ass and kick this bot's nuts and bolts up between it's teeth. Show him what the name KINGSFORD means!"

Olivier plans to decline Cole’s offer when she hears the news from the Jax. Sighing internally out of relief, she looks at her team and then to Ken, wondering what his ultimate verdict will be.

Cole shook his head giving a chuckle of his own "now and forever your Majesty" the green Ranger said fist bumping his brother
