Cole sighed and looked at his wife "We do what we can" he muttered Tifa's advice to himself as he went over to Olivier "I'm sorry if it seems like I'm letting my obsession with proving that Marius is working with the Machine Empire overshadow everything else I just want to do my part as your husband and if that means putting my concerns on hold for you then I can do that I love you Olivier "the Green Ranger said kissing his wife tenderly
Olivier sighs softly. "You always do your part as my husband. Big things, small things. Don't ever doubt your role. I can't stop you from doing what you think it's important. But can you promise not to lose yourself into these pursuits? Whether it's Marius, our jobs, our family, and other things, I can't lose you."

Ken watched the romantic interactions between his brother and his wife and sighed addressing Jax "no I'm not okay the ghosts or rather the hallucinations that poison is making me see they look like Moze and the old man and trying to block them out but it's hard when I literally have them over my shoulder and you know me asking for help doesn't come easy I honestly beginning to think that dad made the wrong choice leaving SPD with me

While Olivier finds it uncomfortable over the obsession part, she decides to put it to the side for now. "So long as you keep your word." She says after accepting the reassured kiss from Cole. Then she looks at the others. "Alright, let's now focus on stopping Asimov."

"Kaleb made a lot of....well, questionable choices, that's for sure, but leaving SPD to you wasn't one," Jax said. "You've just been so focused on the Machine Empire since Moze's funeral that you've made that SPD's sole focus, not the well-being of the galaxy. Yes, the Machines are a threat, but they're our threat. Not SPDs. So constantly using that tech to try and find them, hindering SPDs potential, all that's done is stagnate what your dad tried to make it. So those ghosts can go fuck themselves."

"As far as we know, Asimov inflicts Ken with hallucinogens and psychotropics to mess with his head. While I would say we get rid of his weapon, there's probably an additional weak point to finish him." Olivier explains to her remaining teammates.

"Destroying Asimov's weapon will prove inffective," Tifa said, looking at Olivier. "The thing was changing it's form, making weapons out of it's own body. We cut off an arm, it'll reform and most likely absorb whatever bit was cut off."

When Amara didn't respond after Derek mentioned the doctor's appointment, the Silver Ranger raised an eyebrow. "You sure you're okay? You're not even saying anything." He said with a slight chuckle. "Or are you just hungry? I can go get you something from downstairs if that's the case."

Amara sighed softly, looking at Derek and nodding softly. "Yeah, I'm ok. Just feeling selfish, that's all," she said, sitting down on the edge of his desk. "I want to go out and fight with you guys...but I know I can't because if something's wrong, and something hits me the right way or I get blasted and land wrong, everything we're hoping for is going to go away." She wrapped her arms around herself softly, looking at the floor. "It's always been you and me against the world, and....not being there feels like I'm breaking a nearly ten year old promise."

"Okay, if that doesn't scream T-1000, I don't know what is," Jun said as he folded his arms. "If cutting off his arm is no good. I was thinking about trying to short out his arms to keep him from forming any more weapons. But that won't do anything good either."

Amara smiled a bit, taking the Gold Ranger Gear out of her pocket. "I haven't given him the stuff yet," she said. "I keep hoping for one more fight, but I guess that's selfish, isn't it?"

Cole folded his arms, trying to think of a solution. "Whatever happens, this thing went after Ken after it threatened Masters. It's using Ken's emotions against him, specifically his guilt over Kaleb and Moze. If we can get Ken to see he's not whatever the ghosts are telling him, we can get his confidence up, and I'm sure he'd find a way to take Asimov down." He chuckled, shaking his head. "It's funny. The bot's named after Issac Asimov, the creator of a lot of cliches that are used in robot writing in fiction, and it's breaking the First Law of Robotics. "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm." Same thing AXIM and the rest of the Machine Empire's doing."

Cole and Ken were at an impasse both brothers wanted to help defeat Asimov but didn't know how to when Jun brought up the Terminator reference Cole had a thought "maybe we could freeze him and shatter him?" The green Ranger asked
Ken sighed he knew that Jax was trying to help but it was hard for the self-proclaimed King to stomach running to SPD while everyone else was fighting "I get it man I really do but no self-respecting King self proclaimed or otherwise would run and hide while everyone else was out there fighting I just feel so helpless and I hate feeling like that" the blue Ranger said

"Maybe a little." Derek smirked. "But hey, this isn't the first time we've been back and forth on this." Grabbing a snack, Derek went into flashback mode. "I know you don't remember this because of the timeline changes, but we had a very similar conversation a few years ago in the original timeline when I was in my sad boy era. The difference was that back then, I was being the baby because I was so worried about you getting hurt after so many Rangers died based on my bad call. I was made to realize that I was wrong and being to overprotective then. Fast forward to today and while I'll worry about you, I worry about our unborn kid even more. I'm scared that putting you out in the field risks their life when they haven't even had a chance to live it, ya know?"
