Power Rangers: Chrono Storm (Game)

"Onward." Lalah cheered in her own way. After she got up to take her emptied plate to the trash bin, she began to head out toward Patricia. There's an old saying, ladies go first.

The five Rangers found themselves back on the Patricia with Mateo in his captain's chair, prepping for take off.

"So according to Sensei, this is an era where magic was overflowing. We'll have to be real careful if we end up tangling with whatever caused such destruction." Mateo locked in, finishing some last minute checks before they take off.

"A rarity. I thought magic doesn't exist in real life, but I suppose it's different in a way." Lalah said, taking a seat next to Leon. "The closest things I understand the concept of magic is my Paradādī's tales, and the show Merlin."

"As long as we don't get turned into toads or anything else, we should be fine. Just hope we can reason with the guy so he can come with us willingly." Leon stated.

"Fascination, perhaps? Toads are fascinating. I made friends with them before. They're very endearing alongside ducks." Lalah spoke fondly of her animal friends.

Later into the night, Endymion walked to his guest quarters with conflicted feelings. On one hand, he was certain that he wanted to move forward with Serenity. On the other hand, he knew he was about to hurt Beryl and piss a lot of people off. Still, with it being so late, there was nothing he could do until the morning. He entered his quarters and laid down on the bed, eventually falling asleep.

During his slumber, screams were getting louder outside of his quarters. Endymion ignored them, continuing to sleep until he heard an outrageous banging at the door. He slid out of bed, throwing on a shirt and pants.

"Serenity, don't you think it's a little improper to visit my chambers before we talk to..." Endymion opened the door and it was Augustus who pushed through, slamming the door behind him. "Brother, what in heavens is going on?!"

"It's Beryl! She's snapped! She's laying waste to anyone in her path, screaming that 'this is all for you, my love! No one will stand in the way of our love!'." Augustus repeated what he had heard over the screams of people being brutally murdered. "What happened?"

Endymion dare not lie to his best friend. "She must have seen us."

"What did she see?"

"Serenity... and myself in the garden. We shared a moment that may have involved our lips."

"Damn!" Augustus growled, not pleased with this news. "I always said you had a way with the maidens, but this is outrageous!"

"I'll handle this. You go to Serenity and protect her. I'll find Beryl and put a stop to this." Endymion declared with his friend protesting.

"It's certain death! She cannot be reasoned with. I need to get you to safety." Augustus argued.

"My safety means nothing if Serenity is in danger." Endymion placed his hands on his friend's shoulders. "Please."

Augustus sighed. "All right. I'll go, but use caution. If she's not stopped, she can bring this entire kingdom down."

"Worry not, I'll put an end to this." Endymion grabbed his sword attached to his belt which he put on. "Be swift. Be safe."

"And you." Augustus clapped Endymion's shoulder before taking his leave, not knowing this would be the last time he saw his Prince as he knew him.

"And here I go." Endymion left his quarters shortly thereafter, searching for his fiancee.

Mateo couldn't help but snicker, seeing Leon get so flustered. As this all was going on, the Patricia took off, entering the time stream and traveling to the past when the Moon Kingdom was set to fall.
