Samara looked over, sighing as she sat up and let her leg down. "Ain't sure how you'd be capable of helpin' me, Leon," she said, pushing her hair out of her face. "You got ways to make what's comin' outta my mouth be heard by all y'all? Without the confused looks?"
"Well, I uh...Maybe if we took time.... To teach each other... heh.." Leon stated looking nervous as cat in a room full of rocking chairs. "Sure everyone's from a different timeline, but English....Its still our language and paying attention is still how you learn... I mean, if we are gonna grow as a team... Gotta learn how to bond right?" Leon said blushing a beet red..

"Other than my momma and a few cousins, no ma'am. "Just because you don't like doing something, doesn't mean you shouldn't try" she'd say. So I'm trying.. Even if I look as red as a hot iron in a blacksmiths forge." Leon said giving one of his own "Country-ish" sayings.

"Best friend?" Mateo and Sensei spoke before laughing in unison.
"You're a funny guy, Ledge." Mateo managed to eek out a sentence with the laughter dying down. "But yeah, we've got some time to chat." Mateo slid the data book closed and turned around to give the Blue Ranger his attention. "What's up?"

Lalah was walking through the hall in hopes of placing her latest painting against the wall. With each mission occurred, it spurred inspiration for her to the point she channeled that through her canvas. Once she found the spot, she brought out her canvas hanger, sticking it against the wall before finally set her painting here.
"'akhira! laqad aktamal alan 'ahdath 'iibdaeati!" Lalah exclaimed in her natural language. Now that her latest creation was now completed, she would spend the rest of the time taking a breather before inspiration sparked her. "Hope everyone doesn't mind this one." She said as she took her leave.

"Still need some work," Samara said, getting up and strapping her morpher to her leg. "Sorry, cowboy, but this ain't somethin' I think you can handle. Thanks for the offer though."

Ledger resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he got laughed at by both Mateo and Sensei. He shook off the feeling and sighed, folding his arms. "I'm sorry about Sam."

Ledger looked at the two, hitting his head lightly. "Not sorry. I meant to say worried. Fuck," he said, shaking his head at himself. "Sorry. I was up late and I'm getting words mixed up." He smiled before he sighed and leaned back. "I'm worried about Sam. She looks at us like we're insane when she can't understand some of what we're all saying, and I know on more then one occasion we've all looked at her like she's backwards because of her own speech patterns. I'm just....I guess I'm worried we're not doing anything to try and sort out the vocal differences and I'm worried something's gonna happen if we say something in a fight and she can't "Old West" it in her head and someone gets hurt."

"Well, can't say I didn't try." Leon said as the expression on his face was discouraging but at least he reached out. He left Samara's quarters and headed back to his.

Lalah was strolling along with no plans whatsoever. Along the way, she spotted Leon heading to his room with a pensive expression. Concerned, she decided to approach her Green comrade. "Leon, are you alright? You seemed vexed." She asked.

"Oh, I see. Why am I not surprised." Lalah replied with a small frown. She opted not to mention Leon's bashful expression since she's aware of his awkwardness around her and Samara sometimes. So she focused on the main topic. "Being the odd one out is very difficult. It doesn't help that most of us grow confused by Samara's language to the point it becomes awkward. It may take time but know it, it can be a fickle thing. I can honestlysay I know where she's coming from."

"Yeah, I know. But sometimes I think she feels like we're ignoring her or can't figure anything out," Ledger said, sighing softly. "I guess I shouldn't say much, cause a lot of what I say makes people question me sometimes, but not as much as Sam."

"I mean...let's say you're right, it puts us in a bit of a pickle. We can either wait for her to open her mouth and say what she needs or we approach her about it and hope for the best." Mateo bit his lower lip, pondering the options.
"Well.... we kinda just tried one." Sensei chimed in. "While you two were talking, Leon tried talking to her about it and let's just say he missed the mark like a drunk man that's blindfolded." She said. As the ship's AI, she can hear everything on the ship at any given point and managed to catch Leon crash and burn.
