Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

Tanjiro shook his head. "I thought I saw something," he said, turning away. "Trick of hte light, I guess." He shrugged and smiled a bit, walking inside. Their morphers beeped, Circuit appearing as a hologram. "What's up, Circuit?"

"Rangers. Good news," the robotic bird said. "The Waverunner's mostly repaired, but the only thing still nonfunctional is the Time Drive. I'm bringing the ship to Silver Guardians HQ, and Wes said we were more then welcome to keep it there. Which means, if you want, you can all move back into the ship instead of the safehouse he gave you."

"That's great, Circuit. Thanks," Tanjiro said. The call ended, and he turned to face the others. "LEast we've got soem good news today, y'know?"

With some small tensions still between the team, Tanjiro knew he'd have to learn to lighten up and stop being so petty soon, even if it would take him some time. And little did the Red Ranger know that the glimpse of Silver he had seen a moment ago would be coming to visit them soon.

(OOC: Just a minor battle to kick things off and then we'll get to the Silver Ranger intro!)

A few days after the incident with Stolkan, Tanjiro and the others were in the middle of a battle in downtown, facing an enemy from the Battalion. Apachek laughed as he swung his buzz-saw tipped axe, lashing out and slashing at Tanjiro, catching the Red Ranger in the chest and sending him flying. The berserker spun and flung his weapon, hitting Kari in the shoulder before holding his hand out and summoning it back to himself.

Tanjiro hit the ground and rolled, sliding to a stop. "Ow..."

After training with his Argonite powers for a few days, Sojiro flies downwards, his fists glowing into yellow bolts, letting out a yell as he throws several punches to Apachek's chest and face, "Back up off my friends, asshole!" he shouted out.

Apachek yelled nad tanked Sojiro's attack, laughing as he flipped to his feet. "MY MEAT BICYCLE CARRIES ME TO THE BLOODY SLAUGHTER!" he laughed, swinging his axe before hitting the ground thanks to Cody and Alluka. "I'LL STRIP THE FLESH FROM YOUR LIVING GHOSTS AND USE IT FOR SANDWICHES!"

Tanjiro got up with Alluka's help, watching the Black and Blue Rangers go after Apachek. He summoned his Dualer, watching the fighter flip up and start swinging his axe. He knelt down and aimed, firing twice at Apachek. He watched one shot hit the exposed eye, making the beast yell in pain before teh second hit his chest, blasting through him.

Apachek roared and snarled, swinging his axe despite supposedly fatal wounds. He slashed at Alluka and Cody, rushing for Tanjiro and screaming manically before embedding the axe into the Red Ranger's shoulder, making Tanjiro yell out in pain. Tanjiro quickly summoned his Claw, ramming it into Apachek's side and twisting before ripping it out. Apachek staggered backward, coughing and falling backward, his body starting to melt.

Tanjiro hit the ground, taking his helmet off as he started coughing up blood.

"Don't...need to," Tanjiro said, looking at Alluka. "He's already dead." He pointed, showing Apachek melting into a puddle of muck on the street. "We're good....for now." He winced and held his side, coughing as he did. His morpher beeped, and he reached over and tapped it. "Commander?"

"Rangers. It's been a while and I'm sorry for that. Circuit informed me that the Waverunner was functional again?"

"Yeah. It's parked at Silver Guardians HQ, and we're basically living there while working with them against the Epsilon Battalion," Tanjiro said. "Is something wrong?"

"No. No, quite the opposite. In fact, there's going to be a visitor to the ship today. You've seen the Silver Ranger, haven't you?"\

"Once. They were there when Cody was in trouble and we needed a quick escape. I've caught glimpses of them occasionally, but mostly they're leaving us alone. Why?"

"He'll be arriving at the Waverunner. He and I have agreed it's time for him to step out of the shadows and offically join the Team. He's on his way and will be there within the hour."

Tanjiro nodded, wincing as he got to his feet. "Alright. Thanks, Commander. We'll meet him there." He shut the line and looked at the other Rangers. "Alright, guys...looks like we got a new face coming on board. Let's get going."

"Okay, new teammate. Sounds good." Kari said trying to figure out how she would speak or act. She just wanted everything to go well now that she felt as though the team was starting to actually meld again. "Wonder who it is?" She said as a passing question.

"My knee was slammed against the pavement Apachek was melted on. I didn't expect for this to happen, Circuit." Cody says, sliding against the wall due to the toll his limb is taking.

"Other than two Rangers who are unfortunately the pain magnets, the rest of us have the usual bumps and bruises." Alluka informs Circuit. After demorphing, she lowers herself to her boyfriend's level. "You sure you can make it to the Med Bay?"

"So long as I don't need a wheelchair." Cody shrugs, his morph finally fades.

Sojiro stretched his arms despite the scars, "I'm gonna be needing a bath after this. Need to get this blood and gunk off," he said to the team.
