Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

As Stolkan retreats along with the Dark Waters dispelled after he fired the last shot from his Satyr Launcher, Sojiro lets out a sigh as he looked at Tanjiro who had finally beaten the general to his own game.

"You believe by kicking Stolkan's ass, it makes you feel better. The thing is it's not enough." Cody summarizes.

"And it is because of what happened earlier." Alluka chimes in. "You are not the only one who feels bad, Tanjiro. I am not proud for what I said to you. I thought I was guiding you but I went about it the wrong way. With that I apologize." She explains with a sad smile.

"Listen, we all make mistakes. We let our emotions get to us to the point we lash out. What we can do moving forward is to lean on each other and try not to repeat the same mistakes ever again." Cody looks at everyone, knowing they and himself play the role. "It's up to you though, Tan. You suffered more than the us and we should've asked how you are. Whatever you decide, we'll support you."

Sojiro nodded after what the others had said to Tanjiro. "I have to admit, we should've helped you when you weren't feeling right the first time we met and we're really sorry for not seeing it sooner. But it's your option, Tanjiro," he said to the Red Ranger.

"All of you just expected me to know what to do and how things worked, but I was thrust into this with no knowledge at all," Tanjiro said. "And you expected me to be able to lead right out of the gate and none of you trusted me enough to really listen to me." He sighed and looked at his morpher, clenching his hands as he got to his feet, stepping away from the others.

"Part of me wants to give this up and leave, but....I know there's no replacements for me in 2029. So I'll have to tough it out and learn as I go, and hope I don't fuck it up too badly."

Cody looks at Alluka with a confused expression, and she gives him an exhausted shake of her head. To the Blue Ranger, it makes more sense why Tanjiro acts lately and he disagrees on his perception of the team.

Before he can speak, Alluka beats him to it. "That is understandable. We, as team and friends, still have to work on our communication more because the assumptions are getting to us and yourself." She points out to Tanjiro.

Tanjiro nodded softly, sighing and rubbing his arm. "C'mon. We should get going," he said,.

Cody and Alluka share a look before nodding, motioning the team to return to base. For Alluka, while everything works out with Tanjiro in the end, she remains on the fence when it comes to his perception about them. Yes, they overlook him but they've been friendly with him all this time. For Cody, while he has been trying to balance his life as of late, he doesn’t forget about Tanjiro. While he is confused about his words, he has a feeling he's been dealing with more than just being Power Ranger.
