Sojiro lets out a soft sigh, already gathering enough information about his half self and removes himself from the computer. Stretching his arms, he grabbed his coat and leaving the room, walking to see if Tanjiro was around.

Tanjiro looked over and saw Alluka. "Good morning, Alluka," he said. He sighed and ran his hand in his hair, pushing it out of his face. "I'm alright, I suppose. Trying to find ways to get stronger so you guys don't have to keep saving my ass."
"The previous battle, you actually save our posteriors. If it was not for your strategy, we would have lost the Agronite colony.” Alluka reminds Tanjiro. “You help us more ways than you realize."

Cody slowly trudges through the facility. His movements are slow. He feels as though something is physically weighing him down, pushing him into the ground. He doesn’t realize he’s having these days where his head and lungs are throbbing until he wakes up earlier for taking Rolo to school. He should’ve known the lasting effects continue to catch up to him here.
Eventually Cody takes a stop next to the entrance of the lab, rubbing his head to alleviate the pain while taking slow deep breaths. Once it subsides again, he opens his eyes and wills his body to enter the lab.

"Then why does it feel like sometimes I shouldn't be here?" Tanjiro asked. "Alluka, all of you look at me you wish I was someone else.

"That is not true. We like having you here." Alluka says firmly, refusing to accept Tanjiro's comment. "Of course, the circumstances are not pleasant but I promise K'hysh to help you with everything. Be the friend and teammate you want." She says. "All of us, especially Kari, are at ease with you."

As soon as Cody enters the lab, his eyes catches a glimpse of Kari working. After a moment of contemplation, he decides to go to her. "Hi, Kari." He greets, standing beside her. "What are you working on?"

Kari continued to work and finally bottled the new serum she had created and placed it into a machine to test if it had really worked. "You will work. You have to work." She said turning the machine on and sitting down to wait for the results. All while adding to and editing her notes.

Alluka doesn't remember if she and the others have completed the Academy. Sure, they receive the honor as Power Rangers but after this, it is all a blur. She makes a mental note to ask the Commander about this later. For now, she says instead, "There is a chance for you to complete the Academy from a distance. Online courses does exist after all." She reminds Tanjiro. "So far, you have been doing well. All you need is to believe in yourself."

Cody can't blink. If he does, the headache will increase. Since Kari can't hear him, he'll give another try before he'll move on. "Um... Kari?" He asks tentatively.

"Oh my god Cody." Kari said kicking off the counter in front of her and spinning on her chair to face him. "I'm so sorry." She said shaking her head. "I was so lost in my own thoughts.. but, it's a serum that I think can help us when it comes to healing." She said with a slight shrug. "We had some very similar serums back home that increased healing to almost 98%." She said rolling over next to the young man's bed. She placed her notes down and gave him a smile. "Which means, if and honestly if I can replicate it here, it would turn two weeks of healing into.. maybe a couple of days. It would mean way less down time for us as a rangers when we get hurt." She said smiling and gently patting her notes with pride.

When Cody finally blinks, he flinches out of sheer pain from his head. At least he manages to hear Kari's explanation about the serum she just develops. As the headache winds down, he answers, "That's good. This will help in the long run, especially with recent injuries." He says, rubbing his head gently.

Cody bites his lip. Normally he declines the offer but since the toll his body is having is getting to him, he has to accept it. "Yes. Without my monthly visits to the psychics in Time Force, the old wounds that heals me fast finally catches up to me. I'm having horrible, crippling headaches, my leg feels like it's having a premonition of falling apart, and my lungs has a hard time functioning." He admits to Kari, rubbing his chest. "Not sure if I'm having phantom pains or what?"

"Well, let me see what I can do." Kari said standing and moving over to a cabinet with some meds and vials in it. She pulled a few vials and quickly mixed a few together into a syringe gun. "Okay, so this should knock it out for a while, but don't get used to this. If injected too much, you'll die. And I'll miss you, and then I will die because Luka will murder me." She said with a smile as she injected some pain relieving liquids into his arm. "Give it a little time, and it should help." She said patting him gently on the shoulder.
