"I lost myself on the path of revenge. Kari almost lost herself as well. Do not pursue this path, Soujiro. It will consume you to the point of emptiness." Alluka warns her Agronite friend.
"Thing is, Soujiro. You just reconciled both your halves into one. You have work to do before we face Arianas again." Cody points out, his arms crossed. He thinks of something else to add but he choose to talk to him privately at a later time. "Right now, you need to rest. When you have a chance, visit the colony again."

Hearing what his teammates have to say, Sojiro knew they were right but he couldn’t shake the thought of what Sasorias has done. "I know it isn't the answer but this has become personal for me. That tailed bastard had put innocent people in danger. And Lillith, that little girl lost her father. Her fucking father and possibly the last family she has. How can I move on from that? How can I move on from seeing a child lose her parent to a psycho killer? That leaves years of trauma. I'm sorry, but I won't let Arianas walk away from the carnage she caused. It may not be now, but sooner or later, she will regret fucking with us Argonites," he said. He was indeed furious over the loss of Grilos but he stayed calm, keeping his halves intact.

"Well, no one is saying move on Sojiro." Kari said with moving to stand closer to her teammate. "I think we take that anger and we use it as fuel to bring these bastards down." She said with a shrug trying to make sense of everything. "We beat them so they can't do that to anyone else." She finished.

Tanjiro nodded. "And I'm sure Mr. Collins has plans already in place for the community."
"I do," Wes said as he walked in. "We're going to relocate the remaining Argonites, give them better housing, a better location then the edge of the city. As for Grilos' daughter, she'll be taken care of. I'm putting ten million dollars into an account for her to use when she's older, and she's already being taken care of by another of the families in the Community. She'll be alright."
Tanjiro smiled. "See? It'll work itself out."

If there’s one thing Alluka is intimately familiar with is being an orphan. Lilith may have a community to take her in, but she'll do her best to visit her from now on. "Soujiro, if it helps. We can visit the colony again when we are healed. It will alleviate our burdens." The Umekian suggests.
Cody checks his phone to send a quick text to Manas, letting him know he's at the Headquarters with his friends. Once he puts it away, he blows a short sigh. "What we can do is rest. Tomorrow will be a fresh day to improve." He says to his friends.

Sojiro sighed and looked away. Although he was relieved that Lillith was going to be taken care of, it still wasn't enough for him to heal. All he could do is move forward and wait until the time the team face Arianas when the end comes.
"Alright then... we all need the rest," he said.

With Sojiro finally at peace with his two sides and knowing there's still Argonites he can talk to in this time, he'd be able to find himself in the coming days. Unfortunately for the Rangers, Arianas was already planning her next move, and a certain new Ranger was the one in her sights this time.

A few days later, the Rangers were still recovering from fighting Sasorias. Tanjiro had pushed himself to start training more, not wanting to be the reason anyone got hurt. He sighed as he punched a heavy bag, driving a knee up into it before stopping it and stepping back, wiping his face off. He ssat down and took a drink of water, pushing the cold bottle against his neck and face before drying himself off with his towel.
"I won't be the weak link," he said softy. "Been too useless to them...gotta step up my game. Somehow..."

Alluka wakes to a fitful sleep early in the morning. Her mind whizzes to the dream and images that has kept her sleep uneasy lately, involving Sasorias messing with her head and this time her hurting Cody and Rolo. As a result she wakes up screaming, leading her to be comforted by Cody everytime.
As she rubs her eyes, she hears Cody sigh next to her, causing her to turn around. Cody has shifted on his side asleep, fully clothed on top of his weighted blanket. His hand is touching her arm as if to anchor her. She smiles as she looks at him, and feels her body begin to ache as she brushes her knuckles against his cheek. Through it all, they have been there for each other at their worse. Not matter the distance, they fight for their love and each other, refusing to quit when blaming themselves. And these past few days are no exception.
Alluka waits another few moments to make sure he’s well and truly asleep, then carefully get to her feet. She needs to start her day fresh, at least to get some normalcy. She faintly recalls Cody whispering her that he’s going to drop off Rolo to school and given the time, she realizes he already have. Once she's dressed into her regular attire, she walks out from their room.

Days had passed since the incident with the Argonites, his vengeance toward Arianas was still in his mind but he kept himself company. Instead of doing his usual training, he was seen on the computer looking at the information on his alien half and was surprised by how unique the Argonites but darkened on what had happened to most of them.

It's not long until Alluka spots Tanjiro first. With everything they've gone through so far, she wants to know her friend's progress in general. Despite his rookie status, he greatly improves his skills especially after the previous battle. "Hello Tanjiro. How are you?" Alluka greets her Red friend with a warm smile.

Cody has the distinct impression that he’s waking up from the fog when he cracks his eyes open. It is only when he starts to feel the plush of the pillow next to him that he realizes something is off. Sitting up gingerly, he spots the note, picking it up to skim through. The note is from Alluka. She lets him know she leaves to get breakfast for herself. Normally he’ll be concerned. Ever since the last battle, his girlfriend has not been coping well. He and Rolo done their best to cheer her up along with the others. It may not be the easiest fix but it does ease her guilt.
Cody feels the headache started, causing him to wince. He shut his eyes. Everything was spinning, the pain and lack of sleep is intolerable, and he feels nauseated though he can’t remember the last time he’s even eaten. At least he’s able enough to drop Rolo off to school and not pick him up later since he’s going to be at his friend’s house.
After the wave has passed, Cody finally gets to his feet and slips on his sneakers before he leaves the room he shares with Alluka.

Tanjiro looked over and saw Alluka. "Good morning, Alluka," he said. He sighed and ran his hand in his hair, pushing it out of his face. "I'm alright, I suppose. Trying to find ways to get stronger so you guys don't have ot keep saving my ass."

Kari was at work in the lab trying to come up with some kind of solution that might be able to help her team heal a little faster. She was basically trying to brin some minor medicine from the future to the past so she could help her team better. "Almost there." She said quietly to herself as she added a little amount of one liquid with another. As soon as they met each other, the color went from clear to a light blue color. "YES!" She called in excitement.
