Cody sighs with relief. It's too soon to tell Rolo about his past when they're still getting to know each other. He may deserve to know but he's too young to understand the horrors. Until he's older, he's keeping his past to himself. "Thanks."
Sojiro sighed quietly while Cody's treatment started. "I hope the kid doesn't react negatively," he muttered to himself.

Alluka wonders how she will bridge the gap between Cody and Rolo when the former remains uncomfortable with his honesty. She can’t continue respecting his wishes forever. It isn’t fair to her and Rolo. She almost retracts asking, lets him off, but she can't. Her throat closes up at the thought of allowing Cody to bury this in himself like before, all the things that have ripped into him and left him bleeding.
"What about your other dilemma?" The Black Ranger asks softly, referring to her boyfriend’s bout with amnesia.
“What other dilemma?”
Alluka pauses, suddenly, widening her eyes. Cody follows her line of vision and sees the newly arrived Rolo standing by the entrance with a confused look.
Cody swallows. For a million reasons, he will speak a damn lie or just be honest. In the end, he compromises. “The other dilemma about my latest injury. I got hurt earlier.” He manages to answer.
“Oh.” Rolo says. “By the Battalion?”
Cody nods his head. “Yes, they sent a new monster to stop us. Bumps and bruises aside, we managed to defeat her.”
“That’s good. Glad you guys kicked their butts.” Rolo responds, seemingly accepting the explanation. “So where’s Tan and Kari?” He asks his uncle, Alluka, Soujiro, and Kiara.

"Everyone asks me that." Kari said shaking her head with a small laugh. "My answer is the same, evidence says yes. My heart honestly says no." She said with a shrug and took a sip of the coffee. "I think that's why I'm so mad, there is no actual closure here for me or anyone that loved her." She said looking over at the young man. "But you're right, I just need to punch any bag I can." She finished with a small half smile.Tanjiro smiled softly. "Well, if you ever need a sparing partner, let me know and I can help you," he said. Observing the Red and Pink Rangers from a nearby rooftop, a man in silver sighed and turned away. His hands clenched as his morph fell away, a young man in his place. "You think there's no closure for yourself, Pink Ranger. She was my sister and I cannot return her body home." he thought, disappearing over the rooftops. ______ “So where’s Tan and Kari?” He asks his uncle, Alluka, Soujiro, and Kiara."Outside," Kiara said with a small smile. "Tanjiro-san is helping Kari-chan with a problem. They'll be back soon."

Rolo smiles wisely. "Works for me. Hope it goes well for Miss Kari."
Cody smiles softly, thankful he never mentioned the friendly fire part because he isn't sure he'll understand the gravity. He still feels sad that he can't bring him here like he suppose to. "Sorry I couldn't pick you up earlier. I let you down." He says in dejection.
Rolo's eyebrows furrowed by his uncle's comment. "You haven't let me down. I figured you been busy fighting the monster with Miss Alluka and friends." He explains. "You can still pick me up tomorrow and many days ahead. As long as you're still here."
Alluka admits Rolo is taking the news well. While he has been let down by many adults in his life, his faith in his uncle remains unwavered. She hopes their bond won't be shaken in many days to come. She will make sure of it. For now she watches her boyfriend wraps his arm around the boy for a hug, whispering something under the curls of his hair.
"Somewhere after I made new friends, Dragivoj and Draven." Rolo laughs. "They're very cool and kind. We even have the same classes together."
"That is sweet. So you have a great first day of school after all." Alluka speaks up, and Rolo nods to her, letting go of the hug to face her fully. "Yep. And it's thanks to you guys. "

"Ya got that right, Soujiro." Rolo chuckles lightly. "I'm gonna grab some candy from the vending machine. Be right back." He announces before he leaves the room.
As soon as Rolo's footsteps fade through the distance, Alluka speaks up to everyone else. "When we see Kari, we have to have a chat." She says and Cody nods his head, flinching a little he feels Kiara bandaging his back. "You and I both know it's not her fault. She didn't mean to hurt me."
"I know, but it does not excuse her actions. Yes, navigating without K'hysh is not easy but knowing her, she does not want Kari to spend forever trapped in the depths of despair." Alluka says as she crosses her arms.
Cody frowns, feeling that his girlfriend is missing the point. "Think of it like this. It's like us. We lost our family members at some point of our lives. We even almost lost each other many times. We let the grief rule us that we can't move forward with our lives. Kari's no different." He explains. "What we should do from now on is to be there for her and nudge her in the right direction in order to not make the mistake again."
Alluka mulls over. Cody has a fair point. She misses her leader immensely that she doesn't see her friends in their grief. Then again, grief works in mysterious ways. Even though Kari needs to take accountability and learn to prevent a repeat, she has to help her work though this. "Then we will work on this." She says. "I regret not being there for Kari when she needs most, but I will make sure this never happens again."

"You just apologize," Tanjiro said. "It was an accident and tehy know it. You just have to be open and honest." He gave the Pink Rnager a small smile, patting her arm softly. "Just keep an open mind." He got up and smiled, throwing his cup away. "I'll see you later, Kari." The Red Ranger walked away, hoping things between his team wouldn't explode. It was already hard enough for him to try and lead without today's incident fracturing them even more.
With the battle over and the Rangers resting and recooperating from the struggle, nobody knew what would be coming in the next days, and certainly not teh Blue Ranger who was in for a surprise coming from his past.

(OOC: New ep time! IT's Cody's focus up first. Be doin' you're own things for now and we'll get to the fun stuff soon.)
It'd been a few days since the battle with Rhazax, and the Rangers had started working to be better. Tanjiro had organized a couple of training sessions so that everyone could get in the same page and learn how to work with a new Red Ranger and a different style of fighting compared to K'hysh. The training was leaving hte Red Ranger with more bruises then he knew what to do with thanks to Alluka's axe and Cody's spear, but he knew a few bumps were a steady price to pay for helping his team mesh.
The Red Ranger sighed as he got out of the shower, drying off and dressing. He strapped his morpher back to his wrist, looking at it as it went off. He tapped the button, seeing Commander Scotts' image pop uip. "Commander."
"Tanjiro. Just checking in to make sure everyone's doing alright," Jen said. "How goes everything?"
"Slow. The Battalion knew how to get under Kari's skin the other day, and it resulted in some friendly fire on Cody, but he got patched up and we're working to try and mesh a little better."
"That's good. And the repairs on the Waverunner?" Jen asked.
"Slow. Circuit's giving me updates when he gets something done, but otherwise it's slow going."
Jen nodded. "Alright. Just keep me updated when you get a chance and don't rely on the Silver Guardians for everything. You five have to do things your own way."
"We're doing our best. Mr. Collins gave us a location to stay and we've got access to teh SG headquarters. Kari spends most of her time with the on-site doctors, almost always gushing over soemthing she read about them in her spare time. I reminded her not to let too much slip because we can't risk an alteration to the timeline."
"Good. Just be careful. I'll talk to you guys again soon." The line went dead, Jen's image fading.
"Yeah, yeah...don't break anything, don't ruin your chances at getting home. I know, I know," Tan said, walking out of his room.

Kari was in the lab working with some new chemicals and things to have some fun with experimenting. Science was something she could always count on to keep her mind calm and collected, so she had been in here daily doing just that. Mixing things, playing with things, and creating maybe some new things. "I'm. Such. A. Nerd." She said out loud to herself as she mixed to chemicals and the colors changed to purple and she cheered for it.

Sojiro was seen in the gym doing his daily workout. Since his battle against Rhazax, he's been keeping himself busy with training his Argonite powers. As he finished, he walked out of the gym, wiping the sweat off of his head before feeling his stomach growling, "Mou. Why did it have to be now? Are Argonites always hungry?" he asked himself aloud before heading to the mess room.

Rolo knows something is different the moment he wakes up for breakfast. For starters, he hasn't seen his uncle. Normally, he wakes up to see him by the door of his room but this morning he doesn’t do it, which makes the boy worry. Ever since he reunites with his uncle, he begins to see a difference between his uncle now and before. Between school and talking with adults, he hasn't gotten a chance to ask Uncle Corduroy why he doesn't come for him that day.
When Rolo walks into the dining room to grab a quick breakfast of cereal, he sees Alluka is there, awake, and putting down a plate of scrambled eggs and grapefruit.
"Good morning, Rolo," Alluka says. "Figured you need a well-deserved breakfast."
Rolo gives her a nonplussed look, sliding into his chair. "Umm, t-thanks, Alluka." He says, thanking her for the breakfast, eating everything. "Are you going to eat as well?"
"I am." Alluka replies as she continues prepping. "I am getting my meal prepared."
Rolo nods his head as he begin taking the bite. When it comes to her, she's always been friendly with him despite being his uncle's girlfriend. She makes sure the door's open whenever he wants to talk about things. Not to mention she shows him her powers and she even takes him to get ice cream and pizza. Biting his lip, the boys asks her, "Do you know where Uncle Corduroy is?"
The moment Rolo asks, he can see Alluka's body freeze, which makes him wonder even more. Before he can even get an answer from her, he sees her looking somewhere and he follows her line of vision, finding Tanjiro walking out from his room.
"Good morning, Tanjiro." Alluka greets her Red teammate.

Cody is traveling through the forest in search of the Waverunner. He does some graveyard patrol until he decides to go over here. In the past days, he does his best to mesh better with the team and he even forgives Kari right away for striking him. As far as he says he's fine, he isn't sure he is. He doesn’t want Rolo to find out what he truly done to his parents and his relationship with Alluka remains a gradual process with the changes in all. He is grateful for this morning.
Cody snaps out of his inner musings, slowing his pace once he goes deeper into the woods, his instincts heighten to keep an eye out for his enemies. By the time he arrives to the Waverunner's location, he stumbles into the nearest tree, bracing his hand against the bark. "Circuit, are you certain K'hysh's messages for everyone are still here?" He asks the robotic owl, his eyes gaze on the ship.

If Circuit had movable eyes, he'd probably roll them. "Cody. You have asked me that several times on your way here. I'm certain they are. The main computer wasn't damaged in the crash, just the rooms. So everything is still on the mainframe. IF you had been patient, I was getting everything compiled and was going to bring Commander Collins and have him retrive several things, the drive with the messages included."

Tanjiro looked over and smiled. "Good morning, Alluka. Good morning, Rolo," he said, making his way over and pouring some coffee. "Everything ok? You look like you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar."
"That already happened to me. My mom burned my hand for punishment." Rolo shrugs, seemingly unfazed from what his mother done. "Luckily, I can still move my hand."
Alluka raises her eyebrow at the mention. Cody mentions Rolo's mother has been abusing Ephraim during their marriage, which Rolo unfortunately is involved. He doesn't want Cody to be in danger by her so he has to send him away for his best chance. With Rolo, he has to protect him the most since he's too young and innocent to understand. As horrible as it is, she's glad the wife is dead. "Right..." She says.
Once the Umekian completes the meal, she gives it to Tanjiro before she moves hers against her usual spot. "Anywho, Cody is out on patrol, Rolo. He may not return for a while." She addresses the nephew, shifting the topic quickly. "Is there something you will like to talk to him about?"
Alluka studies him for a moment. He plays with the straw in his cranberry juice, and she recognizes her own stalling tactics in a way. "I do. Not sure if he'll tell me." Rolo answers tentatively, and she gives him a smile of encouragement. "Just he's changed. I-I don't know why. I thought by meeting him, everything's gonna be alright. But it's not. He's... different than when we last see each other."
Alluka looks down at her plate, knowing the question are bound to happen. While she would have allow her boyfriend to explain his actions, she realizes she has to do this for him. "You deserve to know." She says, and she glances at Tanjiro. "And Tanjiro, you need this as well. This way you will understand Cody better."

Cody blows a sigh by the time he arrives to his room, or what's left of it. He would be saddened his safe haven is no more, but he doesn't. His closet, his investigation board. They don't matter to him. "I wonder if I can listen to K'hysh's message right here?" He asks aloud, going through things that are hopefully salvageable from his room.

Tanjiro looked at Alluka, having a good idea where the conversation was going to go. "Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll help me to understand everyone a little better."

"Three is several," Circuit said with a small laugh. The bird's head turned and he activated the holopanel in the wall, K'hysh's form materializing.
"Cody. If you're seeing this, then something probably happened to me. Knowing me, I went in to a fight I couldn't win, decided to go down swinging. I know that we haven't always seen eye-to-eye about how to handle the bad guys and especially with the Commander, but I'm glad you were on my team.
I know That with the things you've dealt with, being a Ranger hasn't always been easy. Especially with your memory and Garrus. But you pulled through and showed us how strong you really are. Never lose that strength, Cody. Whatever comes next, the Rangers are going to need you. They'll need your mind, and when you find your nephew, he'll need you too. Don't shut anyone out, no matter how easy it would be. I don't know who the Commander's going to select as a new Red Ranger, but they'll need you to help guide them just like Alluka and hte others.
Take care of everyone for me, Cody. I'm counting on you. And...thank you. For being there when nobody else was at the assembly that day the Commander made us all Rangers. You four gave me...fuck, everything I ever wanted, and I wouldn't change a single day. I hope you'll be ok, and always remember you're a damn good Ranger but an even better man. Take care of yourself. For me."
The image dissapeared, Circuit sighing as he looked away.

As Sojiro was walking his way to the hall, he began to think about the Blue Ranger. Since he was out on patrol, the half-Argonite couldn't help but wonder how he's feeling. From his past to his nephew, Rolo through his brother. Sighing he made his way to the mess hall, feeling his stomach growling. "Kuso ue da," he said before walking up to the counter, getting as much food as he might need.
