Tanjiro shook his head softly. "She's also still grieving and our enemies are using it as salt to aggrivate things. The blame is not one hundred percent on Kari," he said, mounting his bike. "Sojiro. Let's go."

Sojiro nodded, mounting on his bike, revving his engine.

Kari sat in her room, her knees pulled to her chest, tears freely streaming down her cheeks at the thought of hurting Cody so badly. "I'm so stupid." She said shaking her head softly. She knew they were going to dig at her wounds, but she knew she shouldn't cave to their taunts and horrible words. Hearing her morpher go off then the sound of Tan's voice, she sighed and wiped her face. "On.. on my way." She said getting to her feet and heading out to find a bench in front of HQ. She then waited for the scolding she deserved.

Tanjiro walked down to the cafeteria and got two cups of coffee, fixing his before gathering things for Kari, heading outside. He saw the Pink Ranger sitting alone, and he walked over, sitting down and handing her the coffee. "Are you ok?"

"Do I look okay?" Kari asked knowing she looked as puffy as she felt from the crying. "I fucked up. I gave them the reaction they were looking for and injured my own team mate in the process. Maybe I'm the one you guys should be beating." She said shaking her head and looking at the second cup of coffee. "Thanks." She said holding her hand out for the brew.

"Cody, I'm going to tell you something. This is gonna hurt," Kiara said. "And I'm only making it hurt because you're being grouchy. Don't worry about Rolo. Commander Collins is going to get him personally, and he'll be here soon. So just relax or I'll clean this wound out with alcohol instead of a saline solution."

The war erupting within plays out across Cody’s features. Between him, his friends, and his own turmoil, the toll is getting to him. The last thing he rather not do was to open his mouth because everyone take care of his dilemma for him and Tan went to check on Kari. Conflicted between the need to jump away to bring his nephew and heeding the sound advice Kiara is giving, the former amnesiac roughly chews his lip before he relents, “Fine.” He says, allowing Kiara to tend to his wound.

Alluka knows as much as Cody dislikes to admit it, Kiara has a point. The last thing she doesn't want her injured boyfriend to do is to freak Rolo out when he picks him up. Rubbing her boyfriend's leg, she checks her phone and sees the message from the boy. "Rolo says he is with Wes. Apparently he has been waiting for a while because it is minimum day in his school."

"In other words, he's out already. Waiting and waiting." Cody runs his hand on his face, feeling guilty he hasn't brought him here sooner.

"But remember, you and Rolo still have us to arrange things you both are unable to do. It does not mean it is the end of the world for you. I am certain he will understand your absence." Alluka reminds her boyfriend, placing her hand on his.

"He's going to be mad at me." Cody sighs and squeezes his girlfriend's hand. He may miss the important milestone for Rolo, but he hopes there's still time left to make up for it.

"Maybe not. He may want to know if you are alright." Alluka assures her boyfriend.

"She's right, man. The kid does look up to you after all," Sojiro said in agreement with Alluka.

Cody shakes his head. "Except he doesn't know what I've done. To his parents, his grandparents, to you guys. I can't tell him." He explains, referring to his actions caused by his "itch" and how he witness the remains of Ephraim and his wife after he touches the invention.

"You will not. No matter what you have done, Rolo has the right to know about you." Alluka says in understanding. "For now, you can leave it as is. You do not have to tell him."

Cody sighs with relief. It's too soon to tell Rolo about his past when they're still getting to know each other. He may deserve to know but he's too young to understand the horrors. Until he's older, he's keeping his past to himself. "Thanks."

Tanjiro put his hand on Kari's shoulder. "From my experiance, you find outlets for the anger. Lifting weights, hitting a heavy bag, sparring with friends. Don't show your enemy that their words are getting to you." He sighed softly. "I haven't lost anyone like this, so I won't tell you that it's easy to get through. But I do have a question." He looked at the Pink Ranger, giving a small smile. "Do you think she's truly gone?"
